  1. Hi Pete, We now regularly perform FUE and have done so for a few years now. I've added a few links to some results below for you to check out: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178985-dr-farjo-1554-grafts-fue.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/181950-dr-b-farjo-1533-grafts-manual-fue.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/183602-dr-b-farjo-2270-grafts-fue.html (this one includes an in-depth explanation of our fue procedure) http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/186591-dr-b-farjo-2000-fue.html If I can help any further just ask.
  2. Looking really good Bill. Plenty of beard grafts available there as well if you ever max out your supply;)
  3. balody, The grafts were taken from the regular donor area (fue I believe).
  4. Huge improvement! I'm consistently impressed with what Dr. Konior can achieve with minimal graft numbers. Congrats.
  5. Excellent post. Long term planning is just about the most important aspect of a transplant. I'm coming up on twenty years since my first ht, and thankfully Dr. Farjo could tell how my hair loss would likely progress and strongly recommended I kept a high hairline, despite my request to restore my teenage one. Now I'm in my mid forties I'm very glad I listened as it's completely age-appropriate. It also saved plenty of grafts which I used to address my crown a couple of years back. Hairenvy, As has been said, it's difficult to judge your donor quality/quantity from the pics, but as Spanker says, you should arrange an in-person consult with a reputable doc to decide how to tackle your situation. With sensible planning and the right surgeon you can achieve a positive, natural result. Best of luck with it.
  6. Congrats on your procedure DE and thanks for posting. That's a nice number of grafts and should make a big difference. You look to have healed well, now the waiting game!
  7. In an ideal world I would have had exclusively fue procedures, but as my first ht was back in 1998 this wasn't really an option That being said though, my fut scars are pretty much a non-issue for me, and I can still cut my hair pretty short without them becoming visible.
  8. This patient from Berkshire had a procedure abroad via FUE in 2013 but was unhappy with the level of density attained. This time he wanted to stay in the UK and heard about us via his GP. His loss was stable and he uses Propecia and Regaine. His donor was still good enough to harvest 2000 follicular units to improve the area at the back and leave more in reserve if needed in the future. The average unit contained 2.6 hairs and he is very happy with the change.
  9. Keep up the research! It's a tough job but someone's gotta do it:D
  10. Even though I've had multiple strip surgeries, I am able to cut my hair pretty short without showing any signs of my scarring. With FUE, providing you choose a reputable surgeon, you should have no issues going very short once everything is healed.
  11. This patient was looking for a touch up to his facial area. A small procedure of 900 grafts was performed to provide the boost that he was looking for. The results are shown at approximately one year post op.
  12. I also lost a considerable amount of body hair while on propecia. Most noticeably on the back of the upper arms and shoulders. This definitely seems to be a real side-effect for some people.
