  1. Thanks for the comments hsrp10. This was a no shave procedure. The fifth pic was taken immediately post op.
  2. Thanks mosd. Unfortunately not. By not shaving though, and as he had a reasonable (albeit thin) covering of hair, this patient will have been able to disguise his procedure quite easily after a couple of weeks.
  3. This patient is in his 30’s and as can be seen from the pictures had received an unsatisfactory transplant in 2013 from another clinic. Our aim was to simply make things less noticeable by infilling in between and in front of his original surgery. To this extent a satisfactory outcome has materialised and we will be adding a video in due course. He received 1981 grafts via FUT with an average 1.8 hairs /graft.
  4. Wibbles, Dr. Kay has been with us for a good two to three years now I believe. She shadowed Dr. Lorenzo for several months (Dr. Lorenzo worked with us for a year during 2013-2014), and she also trained extensively with Dr. Farjo. She has performed many fue procedures, sometimes on her own and sometimes working alongside Dr. Farjo.
  5. To clarify, Dr. Kay has been performing fue for a few years now and and charges nowhere near seven pounds a graft. It's closer to half that.
  6. The first night is definitely the worst as far as pain goes. Understandable as everything is still so raw. After a day or two though you'll be through the worst and hopefully will no longer need the painkillers.
  7. Sounds like a solid plan. I agree your hair already looks great so another 1500 or so grafts will really finish things off. Your crown still looks pretty good from your pic but a couple hundred grafts in there should still make for a noticeable improvement. Best of luck with your procedure.
  8. Growth can certainly take longer if the grafts are placed in the same areas as previously. I had a couple of thousand grafts to the front third a few years ago (I had previously had work in the same area), and it was not until month nine that the 'magic' happened.
  9. Understand your concern but as has been said it's early days yet. Plenty of time for slower growing areas to catch up.
  10. Such an improvement month on month. Looking great already and it's still early days.
  11. Such sad news and especially so when leaving behind a young family. RIP Alex and thoughts with your friends and loved ones.
  12. Thanks for your comments. There was pretty much no native hair in the recipient area so we aimed high but unfortunately density numbers weren't recorded. We treat each case individually and a lot of thought has to go into the planning process.
  13. Thanks Skye. I've just read about your procedure with Dr. Bisanga. The work looks really good and I'm sure you'll be smiling in a few months:)
  14. milo, As mentioned in the opening post, this procedure was carried out on a transgender patient with the intention of creating a more feminine hairline. The grafts were placed below the patient's existing hairline.
  15. Such a good result this. Love the temple work also. Subtle but so effective.
  16. This patient is in his late 40’s and has had major hair loss pretty much throughout his whole adult life. His expectations were low and we explained that results would be limited and that we would have to do a couple of procedures to start with and review his options. I think all would agree that there has been a dramatic change so far and stage two is in the pipeline. The post-operative pictures are at around the ten month mark.
  17. It's understandable to worry about anything and everything affecting your grafts immediately post ht, but as others have said, a few drops of water aren't going to do any harm at all.
  18. Good to hear. That's a big advantage for getting through the 'ugly duckling' phase!
  19. Congrats. The work looks good as usual. Now the long wait begins...
  20. Rasheed, I will respond further to your comments in due course. As I say though, in order to look into your claims I need to know the date of your surgery with us. You say it was three years ago yet on your profile you say you had a procedure in 2009 so I would appreciate it if you could clarify this. As far as the quality of Dr. Farjo's work, have you seen his latest result that I posted recently?: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/184797-dr-b-farjo-2000-fut.html
  21. That's quite some accusations you're making Rasheed. Dr. Farjo is a very well respected surgeon who in the time I've known him (eighteen years) has only ever been entirely competent and honest. Please tell me (by private message if you prefer) your name and the date of your procedure with us so I can look into this. Pete
  22. I am very envious! That's as natural a head of hair as you'll see and testament to Dr. Konior's talents.
