  1. That looks absolutely fine micknick. No one is going to think anything other than you've buzzed your hair short. On the minoxidil, when Dr. Lorenzo was working with us a few years ago he recommended not to use it for at least six weeks post op.
  2. I agree with Swooping in that 2500-3000 grafts would be sufficient to restore a conservative hairline and temples. As for the crown, I'd suggest just keeping an eye on it, and if it does start to thin then consider finasteride at that point.
  3. You look to be healing up really well micknick. By the look of things though I'd say your best option for next week is to buzz pretty short. I understand your worries about such a radically different style but the buzzed look is so common these days and you should easily be able to respond to any comments with a simple "I just fancied a bit of a change". Most people just aren't that interested, and probably too preoccupied with their own issues. Aloe Vera is certainly worth trying for the itchiness. Best of luck for next week and let us know how you get on.
  4. This patient is in his early 40's with loss throughout the front and back. He had been using Propecia for six months prior to surgery. He had a single session of 3580 follicular units via FUT with an average hair count of 2.3. Here we see the change at a little over 11 months.
  5. Congrats on your procedure micknick. The work looks nice and clean. Glad you had a good experience with us and thanks for posting. Happy healing.
  6. You look rather 'severe' in all the pics. I'm pretty sure that if you were smiling and got a bit of a tan you'd look great with or without hair. You seem to have a realisitic attitude towards your early hair loss which can only be a good thing. Your 'with hair' pic looks good and I reckon you've a few more years yet before you need to reach for the razor!
  7. After just 2.5 months it's barely even begun. Hang in there, there's plenty more coming!
  8. Hi Edsarn, We've not noticed any more pain or discomfort with our patients when using ARTAS. Obviously the anaesthetic keeps the pain to a minimum and at similar levels to manual fue.
  9. Uk journalist Tom Bristow recently had an FUE procedure with us. Here he documents his experience: Behind the scenes of a ?7,500 hair transplant - Mirror Football investigates what Wayne Rooney really went through - Mirror Online
  10. Cheddar is correct. Only you will know whether it looks different to say, a year ago but to me it looks normal. I'd suggest taking pics under the same lighting conditions every 3-6 months to keep an eye on it. I suspect you'll find it doesn't change though.
  11. Seen a few transplants on patients with hair loss patterns like this where the doc has restored the frontal zone by implanting around the tuft. Strange how this small bunch of hairs cling on to life as those around them have long since been lost.
  12. Your donor certainly appears to be good from the pics. Which areas are you concerned about?
  13. One of the very best I'd say. Consistently impressive results.
  14. This patient is in his late 60's but felt that his hair (or lack of it) made him look much older. He came with an aim to look a bit fresher and was only interested in his frontal aspect. We addled 2200 units via FUE (ARTAS) with an average hair count of 2.3 The post op pics are at a little over 12 months.
  15. Dr. Haber has posted a few results in the clinics section. Easily found with the search function.
  16. Yeah I agree, it looked much improved at the front. His crown is very thin though, wonder if he's planning to address that next.
  17. Looks like excellent work again from Dr. L. Grow well.
  18. Your crown looks absolutely fine. It's completely normal to see some scalp there. As for the front, you'll need to upload some clearer, zoomed out pics for us to judge.
