  1. That looks like an outstanding result. Congrats.
  2. This patient in his late 30’s and has had two FUT procedures over the last two years. He was happy to show his final result via a short video. He received his first op with Dr Farjo and his follow up with Dr Williams for a total of 4425 grafts. He has been on Finasteride for the past few years. https://vimeo.com/288360092
  3. As I mentioned, the patient did not want us to shave his donor - so FUT was performed. It was felt that a positive outcome could be achieved with a relatively modest amount of grafts, which I think the pics show.
  4. Appreciate the comments Gasthoerer. This particular patient did not want his donor area shaved so we performed a strip surgery.
  5. This patient came to us nearly 5 years ago and for the following 3 years used finasteride in a bid to stabilise his loss. He then felt better placed to improve the front knowing that his plan to take things slowly had worked. Then and now he has no interest in improving the back with surgery. He received 1760 grafts via FUT with an average of 2.2 hairs per graft.
  6. Looking really good micknick. So pleased that you've achieved the result you hoped for, and thanks for all your updates over the months.
  7. Some good advice so far. Your hair definitely appears quite fine, your donor area is hard to judge from pics alone but it doesn't look to be the densest. (the shortness and the light colour of your hair may not be giving a true picture though). You say you've had a few consultations already. Were they in-person? What is their opinion of your donor quality and recommendations re graft numbers etc?
  8. Very nice, natural outcome with minimal number of grafts. Congrats.
  9. Just read through this thread. So pleased for you that it had a positive conclusion. The pics after your transplant with Dr. Rahal show an absolute night and day transformation from your earlier failed procedure. Congrats.
  10. Totally normal to not see anything at 3 months. I'd have thought your surgeon would have informed you of when you could expect to see growth starting. I'm sure over the next couple of months you'll begin to see positive changes.
  11. This patient came to us after having had transplants in his younger days at various clinics. He did not want to do anything about the front at this time, and asked us to “fill the gaping hole in the back” We did a procedure of 2213 grafts (limited due to donor availability) with an average of 2 hairs per graft. Here we can see the development at 8 months.
  12. You're certainly had good growth at seven months with still more to come, but as others have said, the donor area looks concerning. Hopefully it doesn't look as noticeable in person as the pics suggest. How do you feel about it?
  13. Dr. Konior is one of the very best. As far as naturalness and undetectability goes, from the results he posts on here I'd say he most definitely ticks those boxes. A good hair surgeon will plan your ht with the long term in mind. So that if you lose more hair over the years, the overall look will still be natural. Best of luck.
  14. Thanks for continuing to update your progress Mick. Looking really good from those pics and glad to hear you're happy with the progress. Those awkward work meetings last year during the 'ugly duckling' stage are just a distant memory now!
  15. As has already been said, without an earlier comparison pic it's impossible to give you an answer. If you don't have any, take pics every few months to see if anything changes.
  16. Thanks for posting about your procedure JacksOn. Glad to hear you had a good experience with us. I look forward to following your progress. Pete
  17. It's a little tricky to judge your situation due to the shortness of your hair but there's clearly frontal recession and what looks like general thinning front to back. The pic of your donor area worries me slightly as it looks like you may have some thinning creeping up from the nape. Sorry to sound slightly negative, if there's a reputable surgeon near you I'd suggest you get an in-person consultation with them to accurately assess things. All the best with it.
  18. This patient is in his mid 20's and we saw him approximately 12 months prior to surgery. Here we discussed a strategy to maintain his existing hair and he is using both Minoxidil and Finasteride. We performed an FUE procedure of 1975 FUE grafts with an average hair count of 2.6. He was kind enough to e-mail some progress pictures at 8 months post-surgery and he is very happy with the progress. Unfortunately his pics aren't great quality but the improvement can still be seen.
  19. Everyone is different. But at five months you should expect to be seeing significant growth happening. It's generally the time where things really come to life. The topic below shows a patient who's just posted their five month update: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/188780-2075-fue-dr-konior-3.html
