  1. Pics can only show so much, and in fact can be quite misleading. As Matt says, the best advice is to get your donor supply checked out in person. My guess is that you will be able to get another couple of thousand grafts, but only a face to face consultation will be be able to confirm this.
  2. The work looks really good. Would be useful to see an immediate post op pic to show the exact graft placement, but from the looks of things, you should have a nice new hairline in a few months time.
  3. This patient is in his late 30’s with relatively stable hair loss. He has been on Finasteride for a few years prior to treatment. We transplanted 1850 FUE grafts via Artas with an average of 2.3 hairs per graft. We can see the development here at just over 7 months.
  4. This is a superb transformation so far. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of your latest ht.
  5. Just another one to add to the list I guess. One of these days someone's going to find the silver bullet. Hopefully we're all still around to benefit from it.
  6. Congrats on your procedure. It's an exciting time but you'll need plenty of patience too. Grow well!
  7. We need a pre op pic and ideally a better quality post op one to really help you. But if as you say, your crown was totally bald before then I'd say at just five months you're looking on track.
  8. This patient is in his late 40’s with extensive thinning throughout the front and back areas of his scalp. He has relatively fine donor hair and expected two procedures to give him a level of coverage that he would be happy with. Here we see the outcome at a little over 9 months of stage one. He received 2664 FUE grafts via ARTAS ,with an average hair per graft count of 2.
  9. Welcome back Lorenzo. I remember reading some months back about your battle with cancer. Really sorry to hear about the relapse but glad that the current trial is going well. Cancer puts lesser concerns into perspective like little else. Congrats on your new role and all the best with your recovery.
  10. Is that really you or just some younger, hairier tribute act?
  11. Predicting future loss isn't an exact science I'm afraid. The second pic appears to show quite substantial receding and honestly I'd be surprised if it didn't continue to progress. Sorry if I seem a bit negative, but you're young and have to assume that without meds your hair loss will continue. I'd suggest a consult with Dr. Rahal to get an expert opinion on your situation. You do appear to have good donor hair from the pics so no reason why you can't get a great result.
  12. I was about to suggest the same. There is an SMP result on a NW7 guy in the SMP section which is so impressive. I definitely recommend you check it out cj.
  13. Your best hope for finasteride is that it may prevent your hair from dipping further at the back and sides. If loss in these areas can be stabilised then it makes planning your ht a whole lot easier.
  14. The early weeks and months are tough Mick, there's no getting round it and I feel for you. I think you're right that it's best to keep it buzzed short for now, then in a month or so as the new hair starts to grow alongside your existing hair, you should see things really take shape.
  15. Both surgeons produce consistently good results. As hairthere says, you're in safe hands with either of them.
  16. Restoring temple points can make quite a big aesthetic difference while not using up too many precious grafts, so certainly worth considering.
  17. This patient is in his mid-30’s, with stable loss for several years. He wanted to boost his hair line zone. He had a single procedure of 1695 grafts via FUE (ARTAS) seven months ago with an average hair per graft of 2.2
  18. Djok's hair is unreal isn't it? Life just ain't fair:D
  19. A couple of thousand grafts will certainly make for a nice improvement and should give you a good hairline. Is that your native hair or have you had a previous transplant?
  20. To be honest it's hard to really judge from the pics as the clarity isn't great. It's possible that you are thinning or it could just be that you have naturally fine hair in which case the scalp may show through anyway. I'd suggest uploading some clearer pics for us to be able to advise more accurately. Hair in the sink after showering is totally normal and not a sign of hair loss. We naturally shed many hairs every day.
  21. Interesting thread. Sorry your latest ht hasn't given you the result you hoped for (yet). Did you get any growth at all in the scar?
