  1. hairjoe, there are entity recommended docs outside US that seem to do great work as well? what about Dr Bhatti? Dr Feriduni? Don't you think they are as good as the docs in NY, but maybe the difference being the cost of the procedure?
  2. Hairybadger, did you end up having your concerns resolved with Dr Mabroor Bhatty (UK surgeon)? Never knew what happenned after they denied refund. Did your issue get resolved?
  3. Mjht, please share your progress. Would love to see the work and design. Congrats and getting things booked and getting ready for surgery. Dr Bhatti, are you planning on opening any location in Dubai too? Someone told me a hair doctor with same last name as you was planning on opening up a practice in Dubai but not sure if it was you.
  4. Out of all the surgeons you listed, who do you think has a better sirgical protocol? Out of those- Who will do extractions and key parts of surgery themselves? Who will make sure your extracted grafts are not outside of your body for a long time? Who will frame the face appropriately? Who will implant or not implant into heavy native hair zones? Who will use safe recipient density creation versus high density site creation? Who will gaurantee to have your back if something goes wrong? Who answers to questions above and is the best priced? These are some questions that may help you filter out the surgeon you need to go to. May want to rethink your original choice or dig deeper into it and research more before you sit in the chair. Good luck.
  5. I like how the angulation of tge temples look so natural. Not a lot of docs can pull that off. Some folks get uneven temples, where design doesnt sit right based on facial/head/ shape nd size characteristics, and uneven density level throws it off and makes it look distinctly odd. Great work, the guy must be thrilled.
  6. Pretty interesting, i talked to a couple of folks facing the same thing. It may depend on a docs extraction protoco, tools, extraction patterns, etcl. Some folks have similar domor patterns and areas were there is a distinct shockloss halo. It is too similar to be a rarity. Some docs say the areas grow back, but for some folks that spoke to me, it hasn't. However, hopefully yours grows back. Some folks have been waiting for theirs to grow back whether it be 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, or a few years. Hopefully, everyone gets repaired. Smp shouldnt be the fixer for this as ot is unreliable and you have to do repeats. Preferrably, docs should extract other hairs from body and fill in areas they messed up in. I dont think it is much do to individual physiology because there would be minimum occurances. Fact is, it is happening and some may not know or be aware. I hope you get this sorted out and hopefully it will be ok next few months! Did recommended docs insist it was alopecia? Best wishes
  7. Those posts of the messages just confirms it and the situation. However, it is what it is. Proves how multiples businesses operate behind the scenes. There a few docs who speak of other patients to other patients behind the scenes as well. These are the type of things that helps those that are monitoring certain aspects of the industry.
  8. It is what it is gentleman. Some other folks Just analyze logic and reasoning behind the verbage presented by some docs more than others, for obvious reasons. Are there cases that even when evidence was presented, remained open for further discussion or remedy was made? Some docs do not even challenge that doctor on this forum, with the exception of very few in regards to FUE. But thats just the way it is and folks may need to let it go or otherwise continue the discussions elsewhere or other platforms. Other patients of some other docs may challenge those docs but those docs are informed to give output on the thread before something is done i think for most part. I think that sets it off a little. Regardless of whatever Professor wrote, the claim was not refuted, and the way it panned out probably gave a lot of real members a sense of wtf just happened. Regardless, this is not the right platform to describe any wrongdoing or issue with a top paying tier doc, nor any of his associates. I think that was a wack threat and yea any threat shouldnt be discounted, however, per professor, he spoke to the doc after postin that on phone and then redacted everything. If he deleted without that info, it would have made it obvious something is wrong with the poster, but then with that extra info, it kinda changed the outcome and impression. But back to the topic, i think it is good to know who does what prior to surgery and not when one enters a clinic or is sitting in the surgical chair. Ater all, there is a name attached to a recommendation across all these sites and these reccomendations supposadley prescreen to the T and do evaluate years of experience and other pertinent factors im sure? Or is it just what tools and the number of results each doc has? Or is it the number of results and patients these docs show online?
  9. Will be hard to conduct the poll as 95% of patients do not post or share feedback or results online. Thats if you look at the number of new patients that post each year. There is only a handful from each clinic and primarily clinics post results themselves of preferred cases mostly. Poll could also be flawed by various sources. Dutchie, id say in the hands of a great yielding doc, with proper surgical protocol,3500 to 4000 grafts can assist you. Otherwise, if you to a doc tgat is known to do small recipient areas with massive use of grafts, it may exceed your numbers beyond 5000 grafts. Whatever you do, tread carefully and think of the best way to approach this. Good luck and best wishes.
  10. Consistent lighting is important , as well as HD pics, (including background colors) From the pictures you presented above, it looks like you had noticeable growth. If you are happy, then that means the result looks same or better in person and you can move on and enjoy your life. Congrats.
  11. You should see substantial differences in months 9-12. However, if surgery wasn't done with a proper surgical protocol, then you may have to worry about the situation even more
  12. I think any doctor that is operating like a mill and is not personalizing their procedures for their patient on the day of the procedure should have no assigned recommendation verbage by any entity. Some docs websites and marketing campaigns are misleading and deceptive. Docs need to be clearcut. There are a few other entity recommended docs that may not follow a proper surgical protocol and do more than one restoration a day by popping in and out if multiple operating rooms. Some docs have their techs do surgical aspects of surgery such as extracting from the donor for FUE. The one who pays is the patient. Entities that are paid to represent and market these docs across the web should do whatever it takes to protect a patient from surgical harm, marketing fraud, deceptive practices and etc. This is especially, if such entities endorse and invoke trust toward their customer/doctor to people domestic and international. Communications/marketing has a wide array of rules and regs that most businesses must review and adhere to. Most documentation is readily available at the FTC sites across the web. Doctors should be transparent and make sure they understand the reprecussions of fraud and deceit and harm. Their are organizations that are possibly monitoring some of you. Doctors should disconnect from online presences, work to fox their mistakes, and come back online later once that is done, if they want to repair their image. Right now, there are tons of folks on this forum and other forums that are now questioning this doctor's practices. Also, patient confidentiality should be priority. I just read someone whose result wasnt good from Dr Doganay and the clinic said the reason was he masterbated or had sex. That right there should be just the one thing that should get the doctor banned from this forum, but that isnt the case. This is the type of stuff that contradicts regulations.
  13. For most docs, I think there is reference made via ISHRS, another organization/forum entity. I am not sure if the new docs are part of that group too. But i know that ISHRS has possibly removed some docs along the years.
  14. Looking forward to the docs responses to the questions asked. Also, would like to see how many actual patients have started their own threads showcasing their results.
  15. Would like to ask the doctor or their rep some formal questions: How many years of experience does this surgeon have with just FUE? How many patients are operated on daily basis, either FUE or FUT? Are there multiple surgeries per day? What is the surgeons FUE surgical protocol? Do technicians extract surgically from the donor? How many years have each technician been with him for FUE procedures? How many technicians are allocated for one patient on day of their procedure? Are there any more FUE results from this doctor with the exception of the FUT/FUE case? Does the doc do any beard or body extractions via FUE?
  16. It is great seeing such input from doctors. Many folks do not know this until the day of surgery, so it is good to understand surgical protocols prior to so you know what you are paying for.
  17. Which one does the surgical aspects, including fue extractions, themselves?
  18. Taking propecia is not a prerequisite for a hair restoration procedure. These are supplemental things. One doctor may push it, another doc who nails your restoration 100% may not even mention it. If you have very minimal loss, i dont know why some would. Again, no where on forums i heard this being a preqrequisite. If it is, i can assure you these doctors will make very little money by saying it is mandatory. It is good to compile alist of docs who push this pill or rogaine on patients versus those that do not.
  19. Great write up! Would love to see how these 5000 grafts yield and look in the months ahead. Please do keep us updated, both recipient zones and extraction zones (to see the donor area healing). Happy growing and wish you the best.
  20. I dont know why some clinics ask for wet pics, but it is best you take dry photos. After all, most of the time your hair isnt wet, it is dry. For your records. Save all your photos and back them up. You may need to refer to them down the road. They may even save you if something goes awry. Good luck!
  21. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully, someone contacts you soon. If not, please do update. Also, try messaging mods once more to see if they can reach out to the clinic. Good luck.
  22. Thats some serious density. Very happy for you. So glad you do not have shockloss in donor, recipient density issues, hairline temporal issues, and etc. Looks like your doctor nailed it well for you. Very happy you can live and enjoy that hair and not worry about it anymore. Looks like you are set. Congrats!
  23. Paleo, Your documentation is extremely powerful. Especially for some that may be monitoring and logging details from your thread. Many folks may not understand how powerful, but it is. It is the type of whistleblowing that is rarely seen. Some remain quiet, while some inform bystanders. There arent many folks that can utilize such logic to construct such in depth documentation and cross examinations. Safety of patients / consumers is extremely important, even when it comes to paid marketing, advertisement platforms across the web. Ethics is a standard that should be followed by all businesses. Consumer safety is paramount. Businesses should do what's right and to do so without deceit. Once trust is lost, it is lost. A lot of folks even those active on other forums are talking about your thread and experiences others have had.
