  1. It doesnt matter how many years they have been with the doc. It is heresay. Techs change and quit and move on get replaced. A surgeon went to a special school to become a doctor and that takes years and then on top of that they have many years doing surgery. That surpasses the 6 year so called skill part. I definitely think the surgeon should do all surgical aspects of surgery which includes extractions. There are classy surgeons in Turkey that do all the work. The fear factor of Turkish clinics are all tech extraction clinics is a lie. Not all are that way. Take a look at Dr Keser. You just have to ask the clinics hey do you do extractions or do technicians or nurses do it. Problem is that some folks are marketing and agenda driven and they may make It seem that Turkey is only a technician or a nurse only surgery country when there are plenty of clinics that have docs do work themselves. The cost factor. Ondoubt is much less if youbare willing tontravel over there. You just have to search for those that do quality work and donit themselves. There are surgeons even in North Amerca that had techs or nurses do work and obviously it is detrimental to some folks and the results that needed repairs afterwards. Be safe and definitely look for a doctor and not a hair mill. Good luck.
  2. Only 1036 grafts? What a dense result! Nicely spread extractions. That's a great price for American patients at current exchange rates, especially, since this is for MANUAL FUE. Very small amount of FUE surgeons offer manual FUE in North America. Its great to read FUE grafts are inspected under the microscope and separated accordingly. These things are important. Great result and great job to the clinic. What a result . You are set.
  3. Id hold off on surgery again at this age. Wait and see how things go after 30. What you have now is decent and if you mess in that area again, the result may be worse. Definitely, go out and enjoy your hair for now.
  4. Blake, it looks like you excelling above a lot of folks. It is work like this that save people from repairs. Good job and definitely well planned for patient safety. FUT Results like this will make folks from Mexico to Vancouver, drive to you to get quality FUT work done. Went a long way with 2000 grafts and with that hair caliber.
  5. I'd def get a consult to see what he says. He definitely is good at facial framing and hairline densities. Very mindful of donor extractions to avoid distinct patterns. Does the extractions himself too. I really wish you the best on your journey. This is a very important procedure. When it comes to FUE, due to the skill involved, you do not want to chase repair jobs. Get it done right the first time and travel if you have to. Regardless of who you go to, Make sure all pages of medical records are given to you after surgery with no omissions as confidentiality does not apply to your medical records. Surgical protocol is very important too, dont forget that. Hoping for happiness... someday...not sure when..., Good luck to you. Be safe. Dont put any deposit for anything until you make sure the surgical protocol is safe and for your safety.
  6. If you are talking about the one in Beverly Hills area in LA, the one run by Dr Baubac, it is pretty legit. I actually met him and spoke to him in person in 2016 and imo i think he is a great fue doctor. He is very personable and spends time with folks. He does all the extractions himself and does legit work. In the past, Ive heard stories and concerns that even had me second guessing the brand name. However, Dr Baubac probably creates one of the most artistic hairlines via FUE with a solid surgical protocol. Id recommend reaching out to him directly to see what he suggests and information on how he does his procedures. There is a probably a reason why some celebs go there.
  7. Great Attitude, see how you make out with meds. HT is not the option right now. I think you are saving a lot of headaches. Hopefully a better option appears soon. I know some folks that had minor hairloss that had surgeries, that are now chasing to get fixed. Some had a couple surgeries and may have a donor with very noticeable damage. No matter how your donor or hair is right now, be happy that you do not face this damage which makes folks stare and question what happened to their head. Keep your scalp virgin and yourself healthy for now. Best wishes.
  8. Amit, how much loss do you have? Is it the start of hairloss or has the loss affected the entire head? Are you looking to have FUT or FUE? There are good surgeons that may be efficient in one technique vs the other. There may also be surgeons that are efficient in small cases vs big ones vice versa.
  9. I think this is a full refund case and malpractice case. That donor has been distinctly compromised. There are few docs that can repair donor with beard hairs successfully. I would try to get a refund, file a case with the med boards, write to county officials, and etc even talk to newspaper or media if this is not remeddied. Yay chutyapa wala kaam hua hay
  10. Good move Cambero, Some folks wish they had hair like you. It doesn't hurt getting a doctor opinion. You can ask HW for a consult, but your pics look clear that you do not need anything at this stage. This surgery if done at a wrong loss stage or improperly done can ruin people's lives. I know way too many folks who are repair repeats and wasted thousands of dollars. Some had hair like you, they messed with it via surgery, now they are more screwed and chasing fixes and ways to remedy the situation for past several years. Id talk to you in person if you were on East coast. I cant stress how dangerous a surgery can be at this stage. Surgery when done wrong is dangerous, but having so much healthy hair in a zone that doesnt require surgery, is also dangerous and can negatively be impacted Best of luck..
  11. Yes, keep an eye on it. Document this well. Too early to tell the outcome but monitor it well and if the issue is still there at 9 month mark then it may be a concern. Right now all you can do is wait and see.
  12. Dude, dont do it. You can create more problems if you go through with this. I think any doc that takes you is unethical at this stage. That sweet hairline you got can end up with shockloss and mis angled hairs that vary in diameter and density. It can make those transplanted hairs stick out and look unnatural. Wait till you at leadt have a legit Norwood 3 to consider proceeding. Seriously, some of us wish we had folks stop us in our tracks and persuade us to not do this. Instead some may have had elaborate reps or marketers think anything was possible and docs that may have given false promises. Be very careful and trust me your hair is good for now. Dont try to fix what ain't broken. Good luck.
  13. Dude, consider meds and wait till your late 20's. That looks like aggressive loss and at 23. You'll be chasing procedures if you dont wait till the loss stabilizes. This procedure is time consuming. Youll be disturbed with days off work and your family. Cant afford to do this surgery or repairs over and over. Plan it smart. Dont rush and research more. None of this advice is to shatter your dreams of getting your hair back, but it is advice for your safety. Best wishes.
  14. 1- surgical protocol qnd also if techs extract or robots extracts or docs do the surgical parts of surgery 2- content of all surgical realated consent forms and disclaimers in them 3- what remedies are given if patient as a less than average result Really critical to know these points. Surgical protocol also includes tools used
  15. I think an update is needed but still think this is a very active site with lots of good info. One Suggestion would be to design via bootstrap. It's important all handheld devices can support the forum esp when you are typing long posts. The dialogue box needs to have a scroll bar. This is evident when using iphone and Safari web browser. Customizable color schemes and themes would be nice too.
  16. Reviewed pricing provided by hsrp10. Dr Keser does some decent work but supposedly very selective. I think he puts out high yields in his results. Might be worth considering.
  17. Hang in there HT. Hope things get better in the months ahead. You look good and im sure in time you will get good growth. Try mot to stress much. Happy growin buddy!
  18. Best of luck and happy growing KO. Thanks for the detailed write up. Looking foreward to seeing your progress. Looks like the doctor you chose has a great surgical protocol and does things manually. very few FUE surgeons have such protocols. Sit back and relax and and enjoy it. Congrats!
  19. Weilah, kaifa haal? Sometimes it takes longer to heal. It has been 3 months but I'd inform the doc every month of the status and take plenty of pics. I hope it resolves for you. 'atamanna lak alkhayr
  20. David/Mod - can you approve my post , it said it went for approval. Thank You. Update 12/3/16: thanks for approving my post david
  21. I can understand what you are feeling, but trust me, approach this very very carefully. By even having 1500 grafts done near hairline, a lot can go wrong and set you back. I know lots of guys that were in similar shoes like you that regret this big time. I know tons of folks offline that reach out to me continuously. A couple even went to docs heavily marketed and known. What happened was they had shock loss and their native hair died as a result of a poorly protocoled hairline procedure. So they looked worse then where they started. Aside from that there were angulation issues and disproportionate grafts used in the hairline. The way it was extracted also impacted the yield and created shock loss issues in donor too. This is very risky step and I know you'd like a Beckham look, but please reconsider for your safety at this age. Worst thing to happen is you pay tons of money, you end up having issues, then you try to think how you can correct issue when no refund is given or you are bound to the surgeon some way. Then you lose more time with work and your career trying to troubleshoot and continusly read for cures online. If you do proceed, please please go to a very experienced, ethical doc, that is focused on only you for the day, has a safe surgical protocol, and can deliver and assist in case if something goes awry. This is an extremely delicate procedure. I would read tgrough all consent forms before even paying a deposit. The medical consents eventually tell you more than what you now know about a procedure. Not many docs cough them up until they have your non refundable deposit. If you do proceed, save all email and any correspondence with a clinic and make sure they are confident. I'd highly suggest you see real patients of the clinic in person if you can that have similar physiology and goals as you. Do not rush into it. Do not think every doc recommended or mentioned across forums will be the right doc for you. Be extremely selective and research if you tasked this step. With the way your hair is right now, it isn't bad at all, and doing this is like you are playing Russian roulette at this stage. Some folks wish they could turn back time. At the minimum, Id only recommend one if you had extensive loss and had no native hairs in your frontal zones 1-2. But you having solid native hairs in front can cause permanent shock loss issues. Be very thoughtful about this and research more. The very best of luck to you and I hope whatever you do, it works out for you 100%.
  22. Completely Agree with HSRP10, that is an amazing long term result. Thanks for showing us a long term case doc.
  23. Probably, anywhere between 1500-2000 grafts depending on the doctor and there surgical protocol. If you think your hair loss has stabilized, then pick the most meticulous FUE surgeon. In the right hands, you may have better chances at higher yield rate. Best of luck
