  1. The crown takes a lot of grafts to repair. At this point, although your crown is thinning, it is completely skin bald. You still have native hairs. I wouldnt touch that area just yet. You can ise concealers to hide the thinning for now. If you work on this now, due to native hairs being there you can risk shockloss, thus not get your moneys worth or become a repair patient needing multiple repairs. Best of luck.
  2. I am really happy that you do not have any donor issue or redness. I hear what you are saying, virgin scalp and it should kick in. Still hoping for the best and maybe next month may change something. If not, approach things carefully and let the area heal if you plan on doing anything else.
  3. Dr Feller or Blosham, is there a way to reduce or get rid of raised recipient areas? And to do this without compromising any recipient grafts? Basically, this is when a practitioner fucks up and places grafts inappropriately, thus causing shickloss, then creating a speed bump like feel in the recipient area. Would like to hear your input or video regarding these high density careless recipient megasessions that might do more damage and cause issues that my harm the patient. Thank you. You make good points in the video. There are top docs that cant nail fue right for a lot of folks. I know a lot of sufferers and repair patients and from a couple of doctors. Their FUT may be more solid with less repair folks floating around vs their FUE. That may indicate something.
  4. Hi Szotz, how is the healing? Particularly in your donor and recipient areas? Any redness still? Hope things improve for you in the months ahead. Wish you the best.
  5. Mattj, That is good to know. Can i get my med record with accurate info and no omissions or missing pieces?
  6. Gillenator, Appreciate the response. Is it correct to say no doctor can omit or change facts in a medical record?
  7. HairsGone, its good to know UK offers full access. Thank you for the info.
  8. Harin, Thank you so much for the info. Really appreciate it.
  9. This is what happens when a patient does not get screwed. He gets a wonderful dense result due to the practitioner thinking about patient safety. At 9 months, no light is penetrating and no light is giving you a see through looking front. I think the goal was met. Congrats!
  10. Interesting question, I wonder if it is more likely for repair patients who have cobblestoning or sensitive scar tissue. If raising the eyebrows can cut off the cycle for some grafts or by wearing a cap afterwards? This in the situation where heavy recipient scarring exists. I dont think it is possible if a hair transplant is done right though.
  11. Dr Feller and Dr Bloxham are other good ones to add. Definitely get multiple consults.
  12. Dr Feller and Dr Blake are making a lot of sense. Much respect. I wish I am able to be happy again sometime in the future. Just waiting to be happy for a couple years now and move on with my life. Im hoping to see more docs be active like this on the forums.
  13. Hello everyone, I have heard by few folks that if you request your medical records from a doctor/clinic that did your procedure, you have a right to them. The question is- Can a doctor say they can't provide the entire medical record due to their own confidentiality to the patient? Have any Patients requested their medical/health record from a doctor and had any doctor say that or have any other issues? Like the doctor would omit information from the record due to confidentiality or any other reasons and not provide complete revord info to the patient? Is anyone planning on requesting their medical record for their own records or safety? Doctors and Patients, please let me know if you can get your medical record in its entirety with or without any issue. Thanks.
  14. Dr Konior is an excellent doctor too. You are going to have to get consults with multiple docs and get grafts counts. Then report the counts back here. Then we can help filter doctor based on the grafts they estimated for the surface area covered. Be very wary of having lots of grafted hair in native zones. You can get shockloss. It may even be permanent. Ask for surgical consent forms before paying deposit. See how shares it and who doesnt.
  15. Gabel and Cooley are definitely two other docs to get consults with. Dr Cooley also uses PRP and it seems to make hairs dense and improve healing process.
  16. Dr Feller makes excellent points and they are definitely worth noting. You have a better shot at getting better grafts with strip. Ive been told FUT matches FUE. Definitely take a look at surgical consent forms orior tonoutting down a deposit if you can. If you do not get a consent form prior to deposit, then do not put the deposit down. Avoid clinics that have techs or nurses do what is considered surgery. This is a serious surgery and you cannot do something that may screw you up later. It is best to avoid any surgery but if you gonfor it, definitely weigh opinions od existing patients. See if you can meet any.
  17. I know someone that went to Bosley. Results were horrific, not to mention the terrible strip scars. Very unnatural look. Based on what i saw, the reflection of their work is absolutely not in par with experienced FUT surgeons. Continue to research. PM few folks to getvtheir input too. I can suggest some names but filter the doc that can cater to your goals safely and effectively. Best of luck.
  18. That is concerning. HLS2015 makes some good points. See if those doctors can help. At this point, i do not think the shockloss would return. Approach this very carefully.
  19. At this point, be very careful. You do not want to chase repairs. You need a lot of coverage. If the FUE does not yield well, it will take away a lot from your donor and you could end up patchy with halos in the donor area as well. This is also true if it is done wrong. We can all hope cloning comes through soon. If you do approach surgery, do it in small sections and no doubt it will be multiple surgeries to create some sort of illusion. This should not be approached as a one and done procedure. You may not have enough to cover the crown unless you use alternative hairs from other locations of the body. Good luck.
  20. Definitely a difference noted and it is nice and dense. Patient must be happy. Dr Cooley, can prp be used to revive follicles in areas of shockloss (both donor and recipient)? Can it also reduce scar tissue in impacted recipient zones? Thank you.
  21. Definitely a difference noted. Patient must be happy. Dr Wesley, can prp be used to revive follicles in areas of shockloss? Can it also reduce scar tissue in impacted recipient zones? Thank you.
  22. Impressive repair and yield considering the finer texture of hair. 2200 grafts and the yield is amazing.
  23. Very few FUE docs can nail FUE. HSRP put out some good names. But remember, a doctor ahould be doing the surgical aspects of surgery.
  24. By the way, I think Feller and Bloxham are doing a great service educating interested parties. Also, putting out some decent work across forums.
