  1. I think its ok to take 5000 if you are taking a b complex vitamin with it, because b complex should have biotin in it too. But if im not mistaken, the vitamin b's are water soluble vitamins. What you do not use, you will urinate out. If you are just starting off with it, you should try the lower dose and see how you react ( ex: no breakouts or acne), then consider the 10000 dose with dr caution. This is as some folks across forums did report that. Good luck.
  2. Its a pretty delicate area. Try to cover it or mask it with toppik if you can. However if you need to, then around 1500 or so guesstimate. Give the area some time to heal before sitting back in that chair. Best of luck and I wish you the best.
  3. Very sad you had to go through this. I agree with HLS2015. This totally hits hard. I hope you get a refund. Some Docs will let their ego run regardless of what organizations they join or seem to be part of. You are doing the right thing, should not be silenced. Popular opinion is being able to read your story without coverup. Watchdogs notice when such folk are silenced and by those silencing them and there interests. Feel free to hit me up whenever, i take things like this seriously. Hope the doc realizes his ego and unethical behavior is now being noticed more than ever. If he had any decency, a refund should be given. If it is't, then anyone considering going to him is 100% risking themselves from no return and no protection. Folks do not want to deal with docs like this.
  4. You are not on meds. At age 28 , you lost quite a bit but still have native hairs in and around areas the doctor may address. In this case, you should wait and see if you have further loss next 2 years at least. Just to gauge how aggressive isnyour loss. Right now you have pictures to track it. You dont want to lose more hair and chase and get another restoration to keep up with the loss. Its never too late to start meds and if the doctor suggests it is ok for you to donso, you should consider them. 1- in your situation now, it is hard to tell. Fue will last but further loss can cause issues. 2- density is based on several factors, the cm2 doc places in certain zones. It also has to do with your own hair caliber, whether it is thick or thin. You got some great docs in India. Dr Bhatti in Chandigarh is one of them. He handles large fue cases like this. Always good to get multiple doc opinions. Best of luck
  5. Jdog, hope you get this situated. I know how frustrating these things are. If you ever need to talk, hit me up. Ive spokent to tons of patients that are concerned. I di not know if you will see something big by next two months but keep a track of your progress and save all pics. Dutchie is also on point with valid concerns. I hope he gets squares away too.
  6. Definitely try the med route if you are planning to first. But dont think meds will have a big difference in 1-3 months. If you give meds a go, at least try for a year to see how things look. You may not need surgery for a while and meds may or may not recover some miniturized areas. You just have to see how your body will respond. Good luck.
  7. Blake, I like the way you think. A very calculated approach and strategy towards grafts. Well planned and for the stage of recession and on top of repair, this is a great job. Hair looks dense where it should. Please do share more repairs and I am glad you are taking repairs. A lot of docs shy away from repair cases. It would be really nice to see if you have any FUE repairs. Especially those with lots of fuE extractions and those FUE cases that did strip afterwards. It's great seeing repairs succeed. There are many folks needing repairs as some docs do risky things detrimental to patient safety. You nailed this, great job! Rarely, do you ever see docs give a graft breakdown like that. Some dont even mention how many 1s, 2s, 3s, groupings of grafts. This helps see tge bigger picture and I hope you continue giving detailed info.
  8. No prob, If this is a FUE procedure. Tons of questions you can ask, but to start off: -who will do the extractions? -what punch size will you use? -is this an ARTAS procedure? -will you extract spread out in donor or extract in one confined pattern? -at this stage, do you think my hairloss will progress or what stage norwood am i? -have you had any failed results? -if there is an issue with growth, how will you handle it? Perform surgery again? Refund? Etc? Do you give any type of "GROWTH" gaurantees that some other known surgeons do? Seriously, this surgery overall needs to be done correctly the first time. You do not want to face any type of repairs. It is the most painful thing you can go through. Just giving you a heads up. Oh and I do not work for any clinic by the way nor given any incentives (discount and etc) to cheerlead aka promote any clinic. Just someone who has been through a lot. So, my advice is to really think this through and wait. Waiting probably until your weaker native hairs shed at least. Tread carefully, see at least 10 folks that had FUE?
  9. Honesty, for the number of days post op, the chest area looks pretty good. Hopefully, in a year the chest completely heals without any noticeable scars. Cant wait to see updates.
  10. Hope a doc can answer this question. This is an excellent question.
  11. 1000 grafts planted at what density cm2 ? 50? 55? Or something else? You have a lot of native hairs up front. Be extremely careful if you proceed with hairline work now, its good to wait a couple more years until the finer native hairs fall. You do not want density issues or shockless that may or may not be permanent. Surgery should be the last resort. Take a look at results similar to your type of loss on the net. See if you can meet any patiens in person. Good luck.
  12. It depends on the thickness of your donor hair. If you are already depleted, do fut, and end up with donor shockloss, then the scar may show more or you may have halos in the back of your head. If your extractions were spread out completely, it may be ok but if your extractions were compressed, it may be inefficient. Definitely get an in person consult with a doctor that has a solid surgical protocol for fue. Good luck.
  13. Milo, i wasnt referring to Dr Baubac. I think his yield is up there. Some docs 3000 grafts results are still not as good as one doc that may use 1500 grafts. I think many factors can cause that. Dense packing with a large number of grafts for a single day procedure without an ideal surgical protocol is risky.
  14. Bill, I like it so far. Would the forum be supported in a similar template? It would be nice to be able to post more efficiently through a mobile device. Another suggestion is, to add a component so we can upload photos directly from our mobile devices and view the directory of uploaded files. Most of the time I use mobile devices/tablets, that would help a lot. Through bootstrap, you can make the form fields fit to adjust to all browsers on any device. Sometimes with mobile devices, i have to change to landscape mode to type and even then the message/thread prompt shifts and I cant see what I am typing. It should stay static and adjust accordingly to the browser I am using. Can you increase the session timeout length too when responding to threads? Sometimes when im writing paragraphs, i get timed out and the text isnt cached so I lose it all. When I log back in, nothing is there. Just a few suggestions, more to come when i play with it as you tweak the forum. Thanks.
  15. No doubt prices are cheaper for Dr Erdogan. But the number of grafts to reach a result are questionable. Some cases of 4000+ grafts seem disproportionate to the area of scalp covered. The yield is not high like most docs in some cases. Some patients I know went back twice to get dense result by separating procedures. Dr Baubac does produce high dense yielding results.
  16. Well, id ask the doc what went wrong. If you do get surgery wait 12 months at least and let the area heal as much as you can. It absolutely sucks going through this. Many people arent alone in this. Ive known many that had do fix issues 3 times or more. Not all of this is readily discussed in forums due to certain gag orders or unethical agreements by doctors. This forum actually allows postings publically. Then there are those that hide it from public view. Its like folks cant get the real picture due to that type of protected process. Marketing should be clear without deception. Everything should be discussed publically and that is what makes the word "forum" legit. Regardless, i hope you plan this accordingly and get this resolved. Good luck to you and keep posting. You may save others from any hardships too. It absolutely sucks paying and waiting and going back and waiting and vice versa in and out of work and family and friend times. Hope you get a resolve quickly.
  17. No, FUE is newer than FUT and I do not think all surgeons have mastered it fully yet. The ones with the highest yield and less donor damage are at the top of the game. There are surgeons that can put out wow FUE results but there are also surgeons that put out piss poor FUT results. Both are good, FUT is easier to do. For FUE, some docs get it, some don't, those that don't, the patients may suffer. Id stay away from robots for sure. Doctor extraction is key. Good luck.
  18. Both procedures can yield well in right hands. However, with FUE, you need to be more selective and make sure a doc has a good surgical protocol.
  19. 1- mean of less grafts is that if he uses 1500 grafts it would look amazing for 1500 grafts. Versus a doctor that yses like 3500 grafts and the result is not optimal but people still think it looks ok. I personally think the yield rate is high. 2- FUE is great in some hands where FUT seems to be great in most hands. FUE is a delicate orocedure and not everyone can nail it to a FUT level of yield. I doctors that are upper level and have great yield along with artistic hairline framing and creation. If a doctor uses 4500 grafts in two sessions to achieve a result that another doc can in 2500 grafts, id go to the doc that saves grafts and gets great yield. 3- the reason he does not post on this site? I think that can be answered by mods, but I think Dr Baubac should be considered if this site allows it. 4- i seen some patients come in throughout when i was in lounge, didnt talk to any but one, but the art, yield, and the fact he did the extractions was impressive. If you really want, its best to see and talk to a doc in person. youd probably get tons of questions answered that way. Good luck and i hooe you find the right surgeon to cater to your needs SAFELY.
  20. Here is what I know. I spent like an hour or more speaking with Dr Baubac and his consultant last year IN PERSON. I saw someone there that had work done by him and his hairline was soo natural i would not believe he had a transplant. Aside from that less grafts were used so I sensed the yield was extremely high. I was really impressed as the hair type was similar to mine. It was an extremely well framed hairline and the artistic structure was through the roof. It was well planned taking future loss innconsideration. Some folks have issues with the brand name, even I was conflicted due to past threads on some forums and what I read. Even some consultants from other docs confused me regarding the brand. I decided to evaluate the doc and see his input in person when it comes to FUE. This doctor does his own extractions and his results are incredible (esp hairlines). Yes, celebs go to him and based on his results, I can see why. It may be good to consult with the doc in person. Some folks mentioned higher prices, not sure if thats the case here. At the time I spoke to him, prices were in line with other FUE docs. He posts on other venues online, you may be able to ask him questions there. If you like fue work of Dr Keser, Dr Lupanzula, Dr Feriduni, Dr Bisanga etc, you will probably like this doctors work.
  21. There are some forum members that had this done. Eyebrowqueen was one of them.. Also, some docs have been on the news talking about eyebrow transplantation. Here is a video showing Dr Umar and his eyebrow patients:
  22. You shouldve seen some changes by this time. Id contact the doc that did this and request an explanation. Even if you were to get another procrdure, youll have to give the current recipient area some time to heal. Good luck
  23. Agree. Although results Noticeably distinct for most part, way too many grafts are used to reach outcome. This is in comparison to some Other doctors like, Dr Keser, Dr Kardenis, Dr Lupanzula, Dr Baubac, Dr lorenzo etc
  24. I also think its wise the surgeon maximizes yield by limiting out of body extracted graft time. This is done when surgeons split procedures up into two separate days. Maybe by doing 1000-1500 grafts a day max. This way tgey also avoid fatigue if doing the procedure themselves. It also means they are dedicating you to be tgeir patient of the day versus having multiple patients which also itself adds lots of fatigue. Research carefully and good luck.
