  1. Lots of real estate to cover. It is a distinct change based on the recipient zone. Some folks put as much grafts in smaller zones which may never grow due to massive shock or follicle death. So, this result is pretty good!
  2. I know some docs that charge prime rates and also do more than 1 procedure + patient a day. Also, docs that yse techs in North America, yet they charge prime rates. Some of tgese docs are well known. I also know docs that charge prime rates and do over 2500 grafts in just one day. Even if it takes them more than 10 hours.
  3. There are great fue surgeons that charge $2-$5 vs some others that may charge upwards to $10 etc. there is no difference in quality. It all comes down to a surgeons surgical protocol. The $2 doc can give you an equal result of a$10 doc. It is is mostly based on your preference where and who you want to go with.
  4. It can also cause ingrown in donor, can be a subdermal cyst. You may want to look at the photos of this study to show you what i mean. WHEN FUE GOES WRONG! Depends in how it was extracted.
  5. It is probably in grown hairs due to the surgical trauma. Ask another doc or post pics up of the area to get opinions. Maybe a forum doc an chime on this
  6. Corey, you may want to speak with the FTC as to what you are facing, from all angles, online, forum, email, phone, etc. I know some officials would also like to collect information if there is disparate treatmen in response to you contacting the FTC t, including any online threat or warning or lawsuit response. Honestly, realistically you wanted a remedy, but visually to most it seems you still need a remedy to address the crown. Realistically, other crown results in comparison on this very forum may be a good indicator to how distinct of a change based on someones preop situation is for near the same amount of grafts. If you knowingly paid for a very minute change that still reveals your crown needing grafts then that is ridiculous, if the doc operated knowing you may still look distinctly bald in the crown, then that is even more ridiculous. It is always good to wear and utilize high tech gear when you deal with anyone. Sample realistic comparison example: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/180127-dr-scott-alexander-2552-fut-into-crown.html
  7. Turkey is a reasonable HT spot. What part of the scalp did you have work in that pic? Id agree you may need work but if you need repair, then to break the surgery up and take it slow. Maybe two sessions instead of one big one, if you are doing FUE. you have to do whats best to maximize yield. Do you have any more photos? How is your FUt scar? Any pre op pics?
  8. Too young, but its not like it hasnt been done before. There are docs that are willing to work on 18-19 year olds or kids outta high school to freshman year in college via FUT that have noticeable hairloss. Depending on How it pans out when they are like 25+, this could be a disaster. Ive spoken to few such folks, even in person and was shocked they were operated on. I really think at least wait till 27+ before even thinking about it further. Meds can be problematic if serious side effects occur, but i think it doesnt hurt to get consult advice from a reasonable doc. Most docs should turn down young cases that are in the hairloss progression phase. I can understand hairloss due to disfigurement and the need for repair but taking such an exoensive and uncertain step at a young age us a recipe for disaster.
  9. From that photo you posted, That hairline looks quite dense and full. Especially in such lighting. Most guys would love to have such a result. I think it looks great. You are a very lucky guy. You dont seem to have a harsh see through effect (based on your initial pic). Looking forward to seeing your other pics.
  10. Use a hd camera. The pics have a blur + pixelation effect, phone photos are a mistake as they can amplify the result and cause confusion. Keep an eye on it and take monthly photos. Your at 7 months but its probably still growing, i do see goosebump like areas in the front that indicate where the incisions were made. Hopefully, they resolve in time as well. How is your scar at this point? I hope it has healed better than the last posted pic of it. Really wish you the best but i can see why month 7 is stressful, again you have few more months to see some more changes. Just keep an eye and document notes and photos of your progress. Best wishes.
  11. London, i am surprised to hear the pain is still there for you, even after 11 month mark. Just out of curiousity, have you spoken to your docs about other causes? It may be good to check and see if another issue may be exasperating the pain in the donor. Ask your doc if there are other conditions with similar symptoms such as Occipital Neuralgia: Symptoms, Causes, Diagnosis, Treatments, and More It is good to get screened to see what could be doing this. Very rarely have i heard of long term pain. I heard of numbness but sharp pains is something alarming. Hope it resolves for you. Keep us updated. Wish you well.
  12. Blake, You know It really does create more questions. Lol. Sorry about tge article...lol. Some folks think a machine/robot is precise due to algorithms and etcs being precise, but this article kind of counteracts that notion. There have been deaths even with bigger precise robots used for intricate surgeries. We do not hear about it often, unless investigative or front page journalism exposes it. So, when it comes to the Artas robotic FUE, it kind of makes me wonder if there are mishaps and issues that are kept low key? What if it goes berserk and you press the extraction button and the robot arm keeps drilling in one area non stop until you pull the plug? It really makes me wonder. Does a robot mean constant perfection?
  13. This is an interesting article released today about robotic surgery. I wonder if any ARTAS machine has ever malfunctioned. Robotic Surgery Involved in 144 Deaths in 14 Years - NBC News
  14. Dr Karadeniz is definitely one of the leading docs in Turkey. This is a result that has indeed yielded well and there is a distinct change based in his prior pics. This is based on this patients actual extensive level of hairloss. 2770 grafts went a long way for this guy. Very careful use of donor grafts and smart placement. No wastage. Outstanding Dr Karadeniz. It is hard work that pays off. I believe Dr Karadeniz does all the work and his results show it.
  15. Hi Recedingboy, no I have not. How are his repair cases? How is his facial framing? Is he recommended on this site? Ive seen some of his work on various forums but wouldnt mind a review of my case with various FUE docs. At this stage, docs with yield and artistry combined may be the best choice. It is a tough situation to be in, but definitly one worth examining and thinking thoroughly about. Thank you for your input and feedback as it is greatly appreciated. My case is still in process and i am hoping for the best outcome. Ive been through a lot and trying to give the best view of what to expect and etc.( from a patient's point of view, without compensation, without any reward or extra graft given reward type deal before during or after surgery, or discounted for feedback type deals, im without affiliation, and etc). Again, love to hear feedback and opinions on best ways to approach the situation. As always, thank you for the good feedback, wishes, thoughts about my journey. It is always good to give back and to learn from those who deal with what I am going through and even those that may be starting their surgical journies soon.
  16. You know it makes some folks wonder, how can some docs achieve high yield for the same hairtype on a patient utilizing less grafts. Some that use a lot more grafts for a similar case cant even achieve a similar yield and a patient may just have a 'subtle' small improvement. Here you got a doc that is coming out with distinct results with like half the cost per graft in North America. This business ethic with lower pricing and doing all the work is very very rare. I hope you keep this style / ethic up doc, not to mention the pricing. I think youll be booked for years. It's impressing a lot of folks in the states especially.
  17. Wow, what a distinct difference. That is some substantial change with a high yield. Keep these results coming doc. Great work!
  18. Sugar, lookin good in the pic. Long time no updates. Hope all is well. Just wanted to see how things are with you. How is the density difference in donor nowadays? Do you see any halo where extractions were under various lighting? How is your hair holding up? Have things now remained consistent in recipient? Looks like you are busy enjoying life, as you should be. Youve come a long way and glad things turned out better.
  19. Just tried to reply to this post of yours but my post is apparently being reviewed by moderators it said.
  20. FUE2014, honestly i do not. Ive seen too many results from top FUE docs to see that in a small recipient area as mine, 4500+ grafts woukd have done wonders. In fact some docs are able to have amazing yield with such number of grafts in a recipient area larger than mine. I think an expert extractor, not having grafts out of body for a longer time, and breaking up my initial procedures (as initially discussed), would have possibly changed my situation today. Now i have a zone i am cautious about, both recipient and donor. Most likey future work would need to be in front and around heavily impacted zones. I dont want to lose grafts like this again. My recipient area had a lot of native hair too and its possible high rate of transection could have occurred. Best thing now is to take this nice and slow and be repaired in few smalker procedures. I have to worry about both donor and recipient zones now. Again, i still think FUE is a great option if it is executed efficiently abd with great safety. I cant see how FUE only clinics are able to convert high norwoods into something better facially framed than me, along woth decent density. Just hoping to proceed with cautious research and authentic input from real folks and patients. Looking at the top of the top to see how they have dealth with cases similar to mine.
  21. Ersko, thank you for the feedback and kind words. I hope you get that great dense hairline. I am glad you found my documentation useful. I felt it is the best way to show how the process is, from the eyes of an actual patient. There are a lot of great European surgeons, i have reviewed quite a few in the past few weeks. Some of the results are quite impressive, especially with hair types as similar to mine. Ive also researched the Turkish docs too. Few folks have also mentioned Dr Lupanzula to review as well. There is quite a few docs but the hardest decision is making the choice from a pool of top FUE experts. Most of the top fue docs recommended do all work themselves including extractions and even may be willing to break it up into smaller procedures, which is quite interesting. Thanks for the feedback and well wishes. I really appreciate it.
  22. Irishsailor, i remember your journey and happy you are doing great. You deserve it and have contrubuted a lot to the forum. Thanks for your recommendations and wishing me well. I really hope for the best too. Doc Lorenzo has some great reviews too. A couple of folks recommended him too. I wonder how many grafts he would recommend? This has been quite a roller coaster. I really appreciate your kind words. Thanks.
  23. Thanks for the feedback FUE2014. Yes, i have heard he has quite a long wait list. Results are not bad either. Looks like there are quite a few folks also considering Belgium, from my conversations I had with some folks.
  24. fueguy, thank you so much for your recommendation. I really appreciate it. He seems to do great work. And you are very welcome, i think sharing from a real patient is the way things should be. This way, the documentation tells a realistic story, gives the user a realistic feel, to what you may face, and with transparency. Thank you for wishing me well and i hope things are well for you and that your goals are answered.
