So this is one month post op. I have taken these pictures in 35 degree sun. It’s a bit washed out as a result, but at least it gives you an idea of what the results are at the beginning of the ugly duck phase, round two.

You know, aside from the residual redness, I think if I saw you on the street I’d think nothing of your hair. You just look normal, unremarkable. I would not even consider that you’d had surgery.

And this is only the beginning

Today is day seven since my last procedure. I have religiously been spraying my head with saline every two hours up until today. I have just completed my hair wash and 99% of the scabs are now gone. 👍

This hairline design is great.  I like the short cut too.

I would honestly wear it short like this if I had your hairline, with a beard.  I recommend you grow your beard out with the short hairstyle.  It's very stylish now.

Many thanks everyone for the kind words. It was very hot on the day these photos were taken. That said there is still some redness in the new hairline and temple points and in the crown. The lower cheeks are a little red also but over the past month these too are improving. I’m applying Vitamin E cream twice a day along with some collagen and other supplements. I think there will be a bit more shedding to come. Just letting it all do it’s thing. 🙏💯

Damn Gatsby.  If there was no redness at all (which will obviously go away), in a lot of those photos, I'd never guess you had a transplant.  I would actually assume that you just have thin hair, with very little actual hairline recession at all.  You look absolutely great!  Really happy for you!

Can't believe how much more they were able to push your hairline.  It's no longer even a high hairline.  It looks super youthful!  Congrats!  This is awesome to see!

Wow, this is gonna have some awesome density ! I noticed that with crown & midscalp the follicles like to rest a bit after month 4-6, then density starts to reactivate. I was a bit nervous at my 5 month result, then at month  7 growth restarted.  Patience is definetly the name of the game & not some cope😎

This is an incredible result!

it looks like you could still grow a beard even after taking all those grafts. Wow.

Hey Gatsby, thank you for making such detailed posts. I am 29 years old a Norwood 6 and in need of repair. What are your thought on FUT Vs Fue, there is a doctor who posts on youtube and says that for second surgery, specially repair only FUT is advisable as FUE may completely devastate the donor area.

FUT or FUE comes down to the skill of the surgeon and the skill of the surgeon in repair work. I don’t know what the repair is that you need? Scars, pluggy hairline, failed results, etc? What is your donor like? Still good, over harvested, poor, etc? If you need a larger donor source then if beard grafts are required then I would say FUE. Do you have some pics you can share or more information on your case? All the best.

Wow @Gatsby truly remarkable! Thanks for this type of photos so that we can see a situation in the sun light which is obviously really different from indoors.

Can not wait to see you in 7-8 months. Keep those updates coming 😜

Thank you so much @OliverAtom for the very kind words. Yes a hair transplant appears very different outdoors under the sun compared to indoors where the lighting is darker. So far I haven’t been thinking that much about this hair transplant. I’m just keeping busy with work and we’ll all see how it unfolds over the coming months. Thanks again. 🙏
