  1. That is a fresh cut, man. @Melvin- Admin nailed it with the Brad Pitt Fury vibes. Solid 🔥🔥
  2. Solid progress!! Hairline looks very natural and that frontal third just behind the hairline is starting to really thicken up! And so much time left to see further improvement!! 🔥🔥
  3. Thank you! I’m looking forward to some more thickening in my crown. I’d like to cut my hair shorter instead of just hiding my crown with the long hair.
  4. @Gatsby thank you so much! We can all hope to be as golden as you one day!
  5. 5 months! Last Monday, the 1st of April was 22 weeks and 5 months post-op. A little late but the pics were from the beginning of the month. Everything is still shaping up but, of course, not quite where I want it to be. It's still too early. The pics of my crown show progress but they're very close up and when I see my crown in a mirror my scalp is still very visible. I'm confident all of this will resolve. Just gotta trust the process. One thing that made me extremely happy was that my scar has closed significantly. It makes sense. I hadn't really considered that I was dealing with shockloss around it because last time the right side of my scar remained so wide from the very beginning. I don’t know how well it will be picked up by the camera especially considering everytime I try to post scar pictures the website flips the images. I don't have any pictures of my scar yet but I will get some and post later. Here are some pictures in regular bathroom lighting. I went to another bathroom to get some pics in slightly harsher lighting. The difference is really only in the hairline and if I'm being honest I don't think its the correct representation of how my hairline comes across to others looking at me straight on. Here is my crown. My crown offers enough coverage so that when my hair is back you cannot see through the scalp. I can go without tying my hair back but if the wind blows the jig is up. If it blows one way it looks fine but if it blows in the opposite direction my crown is exposed. Crown is covered👆🏻 Almost totally exposed👆🏻 👆🏻I walked in from doing yard work and wanted to know what I was working with and honestly…it doesn't seem so bad… I’ll do my best to get some pictures of the scar but that’s all for now.
  6. Man, when I get FUE into my FUT scar I hope it looks like THAT!!👇🏻Holy moly. Congrats to the patient!
  7. This looks fantastic! I'm glad you're finally getting this sorted out!
  8. @Gatsby @Melvin- Admin @Al - Moderatorthank you guys for your comments and feedback. I really appreciate it! @JoeD I had requested FUT for this second procedure, however, the doc didn't think it was going to get me as far as I wanted to go so he asked if I would be okay to move forward with a few hundred FUE in order to provide more coverage. He felt that he could put the grafts everywhere that I wanted but that the density wouldn’t quite be there unless we pulled a few more. I said yes, let's do it! I have no regrets! Thanks for asking. 🙂
  9. Just wanted to hop on and post a quick 4 1/2 month update outdoors No product in my hair!here’s my crown indoors. I did lighten these up as the original photo made it look a little too dark and not as easy to see. Maybe it’s just my 44 year old eyes🤷🏼‍♂️Still, progress. ✌️🏻
  10. Every doctor has cases where the growth can be lackluster. I'm sorry if you had a bad experience with him. That's not the case here, though. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see anywhere that OP was unhappy with the overall growth. As @Al - formerly BeHappy said, there is a discrepancy in what was extracted/placed and paid for. Pictures don't always tell the full story but from what was posted I think the result looks really nice.
  11. @bluebird00 During my first strip procedure in 2019 my initial graft count was low so the doctor went back and pulled another strip, however, he was able to pull it from where had already pulled the existing strip just an hour or so prior. It was just connected to what had already been taken out so I ended up with one scar. Am I understanding this that you have 3 separate scars from the one procedure?
  12. Dude, thank you! I really happy with it. I’m not even close to being done yet!!
  13. It looks right on track for 5 months. You’ll continue to see improvement until 12 months and even beyond. This will look great when all is said and done!
  14. This last Wednesday, February 28th, was 17 weeks and today is 4 months post-op. A lot has happened in the last month. Most of the hairs in my hairline have sprouted. Some never fell off during the ugly duckling phase and just continued to grow. I still feel a lot of stubble in my hairline so that’s pretty cool. It’s all mostly very close to my scalp. More hair to look forward to. My crown has made some good headway this month but there’s still a ton of stubble up there, as well. From where I started my crown is in really good shape! I went on vacation on February 14th. We only recently got back and I went straight back to work. When I left I was putting dermmatch in my hair and when I got back I didn’t have to. While there’s still a lot of stubble in my hairline it is almost exactly where I want it to be. Both sides of my temple corners seem to be really strong and there’s just a little room for improvement right in the center of my hairline. It’s extremely minimal improvement to be made, for sure. My hairline is very very strong now but, again, there’s still lots of stubble so improvement isn’t far behind. I’ve got some photos of my hairline on the plane. They’re a little potato but they’re there to show how I was putting concealer in my hairline vs just two weeks later (now). These were taken on February 14th.There’s no concealer in my corners there. Just in the center. I took these next pictures a couple of days ago. There is nothing in my hairline except for hair! That’s the difference of 14 days. So while there’s still room for improvement…I’m extremely happy about where I am. What I am currently waiting for is some more body in my crown so that I can try cutting my hair shorter on the top. Currently my long hair still continues to cover my crown. This is what my crown looks like exposed. There’s a lot of progress there. I’m very pleased with how things are progressing so soon during this journey. So that’s mostly all for now. If there are any drastic changes I’ll be back otherwise I’ll be back for an update at 5 months. I’ll still be around on the forum, though. ✌🏻
  15. You don't look like you suffer from hair loss. 👏🏻👏🏻 🤯 like, at all!!
  16. I think it looks brilliant…but I thought it looked brilliant last month also! Lol I think once the hairs mature and thicken the density will be 👌🏼👌🏼
  17. What a difference! It's crazy how hair makes the man. This procedure easily took you back to your early 20’s. Congratulations! This is 🔥🔥
  18. This is excellent documentation. Thanks for sharing such a personal moment. It's extremely helpful for those small occasions when others might be going through the same thing. Your donor and recipient both look to be in incredible shape for everything you've gone through. You have a great outlook about everything. 👍🏼✌️🏼 Happy growing!
