  1. very high density! i would make sure to go on some meds to increase blood circulation since the new grafts will be competing with each other.
  2. i cannot see how a dandruff comb could cause hair loss because all you are doing is remove old dead skin. if anything it should help preserve your hair and improve scalp condition. i think it probably had to do with the chemo or maybe just androgenic alopecia. keep using the rogaine if you stop you will likely loose your hair . your condition could improve within a year of use
  3. looks like you have some dandruff. scalp health is very important. i would suggest to use nizoral shampoo if you don't already use it. you said you just started minoxidil . start using it for a whole year on top of your fin with daily massage brushing and you probably won't need any surgery after that.
  4. you can't tell from the pics that you had a transplant. put the mirror in the drawer and forget about it. the hair transplant job is excellent. you are only 4 months post op and there are still more changes to come. i thought i was done at 7 months and i can still see more improvements. so enjoy your successful surgery, you hit the home run!!!
  5. having a hair transplant can be a stressful event. there are a lot of questions on your mind. one thing is for sure..... stay away from constantly looking in the mirror. this only magnifies your worries. you posted a few snippets and it is very difficult not seeing the overall of the transplant. one thing i can see is that you have thick hair shaft diameter which speaks in your favor. an irregular pattern creates a more natural look.
  6. since you had a pus like substance at the scab area after showering i would think it is better to let that scab dry up. most household water has contaminants and would be an irritant. there is a topical antibiotic powder you can sprinkle on that scab. however this is just my opinion and you should consult with your dr first. also to rule out contaminants in the water use bottled water instead until the condition clears up thats if you continue with your previous regiment. good luck!
  7. that hair looks good no matter if you brush it forward , backwards sideways. you don't have to see it you can alone tell by the hair quality and density and they way it was implanted. great result!!!!
  8. i am sure a lot of people would be disappointed if they found out that they got way less than they were promised. best not to even question after its already done. stay positive!
  9. looks great but why did you not do the temples at the same time. you have plenty of donor.
  10. it will not grow new hair but will strengthen your existing hair and to a certain degree thicken hairs that were stating to thin. i found that the penetration of minoxidil was better after a hair wash, the tingling sensation was increased. i have used in in conjunction with micro needling and it was even more effective as noted with increased rate of growth.
  11. sometimes we can be our own worst critic. anything can be fixed. in fact your case would be very easy. you have very nice, good quality hair and excellent density. what you have to get clear is what is really satisfactory for you. have a clear picture of what you look for in a hair line but you want one that also fits your profile. visualize it. get an app on your phone and play with it. you also might get a good laugh out of it, you need it. then seek professional advice only from several top ht doctors only. you don't need a lot of hair to fix this at all. like what others say take your time. fast decisions end up in fast regrets. in the meantime grow your hair longer and use concealer until you have everything well planned out to take the next step. best of luck! its not the end of the world but just the beginning.
  12. that would look fake and would easily be detectable. it looks great the way it is now and very natural. also since you have thin hair your donor area will gets spotty, big mistake!
  13. every case is interesting to see how it turns out. excellent outcome!!!
  14. if you are a high norwood you should only consider clinics that specialize in those cases like eugenics depending on the level of baldness also, if you are a high norwood you should consider going with clinics that do just that
  15. wow!!! i will definitely follow this case. i wonder if he is on a vaso cocktail?
  16. i have to look which case it was but i saw a case on this site from a prominent doctor that performed a dense ht on a patient that had general good hair quality and good density and good donor. the final outcome was not all what you would have expected. the graft survival rate of the new follicles was less than 80%. even though the end result is still satisfactory, 20% of precious follicles were wasted. i don't think any doctor can predict with certainty what the outcome will be good or great doc. its still a risk for the doctor and the patient but more so for the patient.
