This isn't a monopoly with infinite supply, where they minmax the price in order to obtain maximum profit, while hurting all the people who can't afford it. There is tons of supply of surgeons, ranging from the absolute worst hair mills, to the best (Zarev being one of them). As a business, they should price themselves in a way where supply = demand. Meaning, if he charges a price, and has the supply to do 300 transplants a year, but has a demand of 3,000 patients, he's underpriced. He needs to raise prices until he gets to a point where only 300 people a year are looking for a transplant with him (because it's within their budget). Don't get mad if you can't afford something. Nobody is forcing you to have surgery with that doctor.

You seem to have very little hair loss and great hair in general. Easily Thiago Bianco. He'll get you the most dense and natural looking result.

Looking for vouch for Dr Sara Salas
Fue3361 replied to Antman's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I literally looked at all 3 of these threads, and not a single user who vouched for her has a thread or post showing before/after results of themselves. "She did a good job", or "I've heard good things" is a very very low bar for choosing a surgeon. -
Saw the guy's results (who just got his 2 days ago) and the work looks very clean. Should be an amazing result from what I can tell (from the post op). There's another guy I'm talking to as well on reddit who's getting his in July I believe. We might get quite a few more reviews in the coming months As for Thiago and punch size, I know for a fact he makes his own custom incision blades for each patient based on hair characteristics (has the machine that cuts it to any size) and uses multiple different sizes depending on location. For punch size, it depends the same way. He goes as small as he can go. I'm trying to recall what size he used for me, I think it was 0.8. I could be wrong though here... it was a few years ago.

Looking for vouch for Dr Sara Salas

You fundamentally don’t understand how to approach vetting surgeons for HT. if you can’t find at least a few user submitted results (on forums, or elsewhere), risk is high that the results you are seeing are cherry picked at best, or fake at worst. -
Looking for vouch for Dr Sara Salas
Fue3361 replied to Antman's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Yeah, none of that impresses me. No user made posts/reviews, only random ones without pictures. Her own before/after pictures (ones she self selected to put on her site) tell pretty much nothing. All low resolution, can't see hairlines properly, or much detail anywhere. And the ones that do show hairlines are very low density. I'd not go to her. -

I'm not seeing the experiences and vouches. Maybe show a few good examples and we can examine them. -
Need to know if anyone can vouch

Just ask here. I'd be glad to answer, and I'm sure others can give their input. -

Because it's a bad photoshop job. I'm wasn't gonna do it cause I'm lazy, but here's a few examples: Here you can see that the reflections in both eyes are identical, and the eyelashes are absolutely in the exact same spots (basically, it's the same photo, with the eyebrows photoshopped. As for the female, the eyes are not off the exact same photograph, but were 100% taken the same day (probably minutes apart): As you can see, hey eyelashes are folding in the exact same ways, with VERY SLIGHT variations (meaning the photos are not identical, but taken very soon from each other). Also, the reflection in the eyes is slightly different. Hope this helps. There's tons of other hints (I can literally see photoshop evidence on the eyebrows, but this is more technical to talk about. EDIT: Frankly, I'm surprised nobody else pointed it out. EDIT #2: The vast majority of these kinds of clinics lie in their before/afters one way or another. When something looks good, it doesn't mean they're being honest with you. And this was a very sloppy/lazy photoshop job. I could make these look entirely authentic given 10 minutes, and 99% of people would buy it. Any clinic with even the smallest budget can make fake before/afters that look authentic. This is why you look for actual testimonials of clients, and not propaganda from clinics on their socials. -

You’re lucky you asked. Run; and run away FAST. Those before/after are 100% photoshop (zero doubt about it). -
Yeah, he did a ridiculously good job on that transplant. I'm very happy with mine, and I think that one was probably even better than mine. He does all the extractions and does all the pre-incisions. He doesn't do any of the graft placing (he actually has a very large team working with the grafts, including separating, categorizing with microscopes, implanting with pens, etc.). I think my surgery the entire team in the room was 10 people if I'm not mistaking. As for anesthesia, I'm not sure if it's general or just very heavy sedation. Regardless, there's also at all times an anesthesiologist with you monitoring everything. It's a proper hospital setting. Also, good news, I'm talking with a guy on reddit that's seeing Thiago this month (he contacted me for advice) and he'll be posting the entire thing as well, so we should have a third surgery results very soon I've been saying I think he's the best in the world with temple points and high density work for ages now, it's a shame more people didn't jump on 2 years ago, as his prices have gone up a lot since then. Mine was 10k back then, I think atm, similar work is probably 18k USD.

You’re free to disagree.

Couto is more of a legend than anything. I've seen abysmal work from Couto before (on this forum). I think to an extent, Couto is lucky that he works with lots of patients with great hair caliber. Pekiner has better hairlines than Keser. I think Konior is a higher tier surgeon, yes, but he's also extremely expensive. Also, agreed, Pekiner doesn't do temples. Furthermore, he sometimes used to have some multies, although recently he seems to have fixed that issue.
-
He is notorious for bad communication. Also famous for the best hairlines in the world. Personally, I’d stay booked without a second thought, unless I had plans to go to someone even better (and very very few surgeons have as good a hairline as Pekiner).

Hairline lowering
Fue3361 replied to Phillyman1996's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
In my opinion, very low aggressive hairlines require very high density. A higher, more conservative hairline, can have lower density, and still look natural. But when it's very low and aggressive, these hairlines in nature tend to also be very dense. Low density, but perfectly straight and low on the forehead, the eye tells that something is off. -
No response from Dr. Nader?
Fue3361 replied to dkeep02's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Try again. Nader exploded in popularity the last year, his team probably hasn’t adjusted to all the new demand they’re getting. -
How did you pay/finance you treatment
Fue3361 replied to Tricko's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Save the money, then pay for it once you can afford it. Going into debt for a hair transplant is something I'd never recommend anyone. -
Both have been doing great work recently. I find Pekiner's hairlines to be more aesthetic personally.

Bicer vs. de Freitas

Easily Freitas. Also, Pekiner would be my #1 choice in Turkey. -

Dr Zarev 11,941 grafts. 1st procedure 8,321, 2nd procedure 3,620

This is stupidly good work. I've seen enough, for me, Zarev is easily #1 in the world for high norwoods. Everyone else has to fight for 2nd place. -
Dr. Thiago Bianco Leal 3361 Grafts - Full Year Progression

Just checked the label. Yeah, those are not the dosages. Did I write that somewhere in this thread? Damn, just checked, I did. Crazy how memory can just be wrong like that! The dosages were: 5mg Sildenafil 5mg Tadalafil 3mg Arginine 2.5mg Minoxidil I had it right on other thread. Somehow got it confused on this one. Here's from other thread:
