  1. Damn Gatsby. If there was no redness at all (which will obviously go away), in a lot of those photos, I'd never guess you had a transplant. I would actually assume that you just have thin hair, with very little actual hairline recession at all. You look absolutely great! Really happy for you! Can't believe how much more they were able to push your hairline. It's no longer even a high hairline. It looks super youthful! Congrats! This is awesome to see!
  2. Thanks dude. Sure, just took one: I think the graft choice might be better on the right one (above^), it looks a bit softer. Not to say I don’t think the left one is good. I somewhat prefer the angle of the left temple being more acute. But both ended up looking very natural to me. Thanks guys!
  3. Hell yeah! Awesome results. Saw them on Reddit already. Just another example of why I think Pekiner is the best in Turkey at the moment. Reminds me a lot of my transplant. Can't wait to see the 6-7 month mark once the hair starts getting some better texture! The density is already looking solid. Amazing for 4 months! Enjoy the growth, and make sure to update us during the next few months!
  4. Unless you're getting a very small transplant, almost no clinic in turkey is going to be 3k (no reputable one). If your budget is under 6k for the surgery, you really should reconsider (again, unless you're having a very small procedure). Dr. Gur for example is pretty budget friendly in Turkey, one of the cheaper ones that is also decent quality. Pekiner would be my #1 Turkey pick in terms of results, but he's also more expensive (still cheaper than US/UK).
  5. wait, can your voice feminize? I'm aware it can get more masculine. Don't think it can go backwards though, can it?
  6. What makes you think so? He said it, saw an increase in density over years?
  7. From my knowledge, I think pretty much every clinic on this forum is at least not "hairmill" territory. While obviously there is some conflict of interest, this might be the best place to find sound recommendations.
  8. Also, speaking of hairlines, I'm very happy with my own hairline atm: The new height/width really compliment my face. Very hard to tell it was a transplant as well, considering graft count. As for a perfectly aesthetic hairline, something like this i find most aesthetic: As for real life people, hard to beat Brad Pitt when he was young: Something like this is also very solid: But hairline perfection also depends on the person's face, the person's forehead shape, and other factors. There's no 1 size fits all.
  9. I don't disagree with you. But I'm not a fan of removing grafts to make a higher hairline, as there is often scar tissue that makes the skin look pretty offputting. I think in his case, he's better off just making narrower temples and removing only select grafts to add irregularities and a softer hairline. Removing an entire inch of transplanted area I think would be a last resort in my book.
  10. If you plan to never get on Fin or medication, you have to realize that the little hair you left on top will all be gone, absolutely all of it, since you're only 32. So you will definitely need multiple surgeries if you get one now. If you're considering getting your transplant in Canada, that also means you have a healthy budget to work with, which means you can go to the best. Rahal said no, but that doesn't mean another high level doctor won't say yes. There's lots of them out there. My recommendation, don't just take one person's word for a doctor, instead, ask around, make a big list, then go through them 1 by 1, looking at user posted cases, and see which style you like the most. Your case isn't so bad that you won't be able to find a clinic. I'm 95% sure for example that Eugenix would accept you as a candidate. Just keep in mind that you will probably need more surgeries in the future.
  11. I actually think his case is salvagable if he has 0 hairloss as an adult. I think at that point, if I was in his shoes, I would get a 2nd transplant and bring in the temporal region more to the sides. What really destroys the naturalness (other than how obsurdly low it is) is that he doesn't have the temples anywhere close enough. That low a forehead is always much more narrow naturally. So yeah, box it in more on the sides, maybe remove some grafts and actually introduce some micro irregularities, and it could look quite presentable. I'm not advocating for anyone to have a hairline this low, and it would obviously look way better if it was higher, but I don't think it's a lost cause if he actually ends up having no MPB.
  12. I present the future of hairlines, Norwood 0.5:
  13. Another great Pekiner example. I still think he should be the first recommendation given for Turkey clinics, regardless of if he's on the recommended list of the forums.
  14. I don't disagree on your points, Dr. Bicer has been doing it a long time and her results are good. But when I compare the work between the two, Pekiner's hairlines are just a tier above in terms of results. Wouldn't final result be THE factor that determines who's the better surgeon?
  15. Pekiner for me is the best in Turkey. He's not on the recommended list on this forum, but I don't think I've seen many doctors even anywhere else internationally that are as good as him on hairlines, graft survival, etc. Just saw a case of his on the HT Reddit, fantastic work as always. That said, he seems to not want to take your case. IDK if you're on medication or not, but if you're not, he's absolutely right, and you do want to see how much ground you make up first on medication before going down a HT scenario.
  16. I'd argue Pekiner is a tier above Bicer. Bicer does good work, but Pekiner is an artist when it comes to his hairlines.
  17. Max density is very high these days. I know Thiago Bianco says he is able to go over 100fu/cm2 in rare cases where it is warranted. In my case, he did over 80 with no issues and great survivability. Here's mine: I've seen a case from Konior going for 100ish as well.
  18. Your case is much easier than mine. Temples are the hardest part and the part that can make it look the most unnatural. I think you don't need a transplant and that it looks good already. But you're 32, and you know what you want better than I do. People told me I didn't need one, and I still got one. You'd need fewer grafts than me, I used 3.3k I'm sure you can pull off a great look with under 2500. But I don't think under 2k grafts would work, because you really want it to be very dense, otherwise it will look off. An aggressive, lower hairline, requires high density. It just is what it is.
  19. Yeah. From my understanding, Dr. Leal is so booked (like 2-3+ years) that he's not taking on any new clients, and only accepts old clients (for touchups/future surgeries) or friends of previous clients. He's currently opening sister clinics with all surgeons he's personally trained to what he considers his standard. Has 1 clinic already open, with another in the works.
  20. If you want to close in the forehead in terms of width, you're looking at a massive amount of grafts. I think if that's the plan, you can't really afford to lower the hairline much at all, as you do seem to be receding. I'm a big fan of Pekiner's hairlines, think you can't go wrong with him.
