  1. OK it's all over Now! A year has passed since the transplant. Look at the photo for the results. To say that I am pleased is to say nothing. I haven't lost a single hair in a year. Yes, I'm paranoid, I'm looking at the comb. I didn't have shock prolapse. My donor area is in excellent condition and is ready for new exploits. Apparently fate took me away from the ghoul Ayhan Colak and I came to Dr. Demirsoy I am VERY happy with my choice. I hope someone will benefit from my post. And of course, thank you to all of you, friends! Thanks to this forum. In the photo I am in 2023. I am in 2024. Hairline and donor.
  2. Yes, I will post new photos when it’s exactly one year since the surgery! But I can say that now almost nothing has changed compared to the photographs taken 6 months after the operation.
  3. The doctor himself does not work with patients. He has an assistant. Muzzafer +90 535 528 15 00
  4. Not sure! But I use it. I don't understand what extra day? My advice is to fly home in the evening after washing your hair. Because swelling may begin later, it is better to be at home. Thanks to EVERYONE who appreciated the doctor’s work and my progress.
  5. Hello! Sorry for the late reply. Was a little busy. I am growing my hair. Look, I wasn't interested in this information. I do not know why. Of course I'll be here. I think that in a month I will post new photos. While the transplant area is a little red. Sensitivity has almost returned.
  6. Sure. ”…Wish to inform you that we have also a second package where the graft price is 1 Euro .İn this Dr Demirsoy making the consultation and open the incisions .The extraction will be done from our nurse which has 16 years experience in Fue extraction. The incisions will be opened from Dr.Demirsoy himself. Third option is that half of the extraction will be done by Dr.Demirsoy half from our nurse.Incisions will be done by Dr Demirsoy himself .Than the price will be 1.25 euro per graft.” 👌🏻
  7. So, next I will attach photos of days 2-3 and 10. And I will try to post my progress every month.
  8. Hello, everyone! I hasten to share my personal experience of hair transplantation. Probably many of you have read my thread about choosing a clinic. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/67720-trying-to-choose-a-clinic-in-turkey/ There I have described in detail what doctors answered to me, to whom I applied. And of course I want to mention the great swindler Dr. Colak (Ayhan Colak) (spend my money upfront in a better way). So, I thought a lot, looking for a balance between cost, quality and ability to get to surgery fairly quickly. And I think I got lucky and made the right choice. So I chose Dr. Erkan Demirsoy. First the main stages of the operation he performs personally. Extraction of grafts and opening of canals. Secondly, he was ready to see me quickly, without long waiting times. Third, he had a comfortable operating cost. And finally, he had experience in hair transplantation with a patient who had a similar hair type to mine. Most doctors have people with dark hair in their portfolios. However, my hair is blond. Thin. And not a very "rich" donor area. So I contacted the doctor's assistant. I will say right away that Muzaffer is a very competent, careful and attentive person. He was and remains in touch with me at all times. I get answers to any questions I have. Everything was agreed as soon as possible, and I arrived in Istanbul. The trip to the hotel and the day before the surgery, everything was as usual. Although I had left my umbrella at home and it was raining in Istanbul. Early the next morning, Muzaffer picked me up from the hotel and we drove to the clinic. The clinic is located in a modern office building. Everything is very clean and neat. Muzaffer and one of the nurses were with me. Since I did not have time to have breakfast at the hotel- Muzaffer solved the issues with breakfast. Yes, of course it's exciting. But then, at the same time as parting with my hair, the excitement goes away. And then the routine. Shave your head, put lines on your head, take a couple of pictures, and GO. Well. Anesthesia to the head hurts like hell. But it's quick. Just three or four shots. And then it's done. Lie on your stomach, listen to music, audiobooks (I recommend it) or just sleep. It took about 3 hours to remove the grafts. I was surprised to find out that 3665 was removed. After that, I rested for a bit and we continued on. And yes, there were the head injections again. No doubt the nurses are very attentive, they try. Another 2.5 hours and the doctor opened the canals. Yay. After that, lunch was arranged. The chicken was delicious and I got my strength back. And now I was lying down again. The transplant itself is performed by 3 nurses. The doctor came in and monitored all the time. Finally everything is behind me. The donor area is taped up and I'm off to my hotel. The first night was pretty easy. I was given antibiotics and painkillers. Plus a spray, with seawater (???). Also Muzaffer helped me and bought a pillow under my neck in advance. The next morning Muzaffer picked me up from the hotel and drove me to the clinic. First wash my head-photo-examination by the doctor. That same day I flew home. Clutching in my hands a year's supply of minoxidil and finasteride. Which Muzaffer had kindly and respectfully purchased for me. (not included in the cost of the surgery). And on the third day, a little "suffering" began. Guys, my advice is if you can, fly home right after the examination and head washing. No need to stay in Istanbul for a couple of days. OTEC!!!! This is what is guaranteed to happen to you. It feels like you have a balloon inflated on your forehead. And every day it just goes lower. Plus you only sleep on your back, your head itches like hell when the balloon went lower, your eyes struggled to open. But that's all behind you now. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Erkan Demirsoy and his assistant Muzaffer. I will be attaching photos. The photos were taken on the day of surgery. I will post pictures of the next stages in a new post.
  9. Hi! @Metreon80 Thanks for your interest in my topic. Yes, I chose. And...... (drumroll) I did. Just got back yesterday. I will publish a new post next week. Everything went great in my opinion. I chose Dr. Demirsoy. Please give me some time, I'll write a post with photos. I'm on my third day now.
  10. Not exactly. He took 800 euros from me while he was still doing hair transplants. But then he stopped doing it. Accordingly, he did not want to return the money to me.
  11. Thanks guys for the answer! But I read that finasteride has a bunch of side effects. I'm afraid for my potency.
