  1. Hey Melvin, did you get off them cold turkey? Your body becomes dependent on them after two weeks, it changes your gaba receptors. The doctors were perscribing these like candy for sleep and that caused this huge epidemic of benzo dependency. To your question yes your anxiety can increase. Good luck
  2. Yep I was taking .25mg of enclomiphene a day. It was too much, it over powered the dutasteride. I did not think it would do that. I guess that sudden spike caused the shed, interesting as my DHT levels are super low. Shows u that a spike in other androgens cause hairloss as well.
  3. Mustang I tried regular 150mg testosterone shots last year. It made my t levels go haywire. I did not feel that great. Obviously all is legit from the pharmacy. Curios what my next blood test results will be.
  4. Yep, I think my eclomehine daily dose was too high. I am cutting it in half. I will tell at 52 I feel like 32,lol.
  5. Gatsby thanks for the reply on Klonopin 10 plus years. Tapered down from 2mg down to .75. I am taking the taper really slow to try to avoid the nasty withdrawal effects.
  6. Anyone on trt or other testosterone booster get a spike in testosterone and get sudden shedding. I started Eclomephine a few months back. It’s definitely working as I feel great and lost another 20lbs. I am on dutasteride and oral minoxidil, so I did not expect a shed. My scalp got itchy and felt inflamed all of a sudden and bam noticed increased hairloss. All the hairs were think with a white bulb, they should grow back.Seems to have subsided for now. The only other Mx in the equation is I am weening of Klonopin. I have read that you can get sudden hairloss when weening of benzos as well. I hope to be completely off them in a few months as I am tapering really slow. Those benzo pills are the devil, I was prescribed them for sleep, big mistake. Thanks
  7. I tried TRT for a year, it completely whacked out my T levels at 150mg a week. Very odd my blood tests were all over the place. Look into Eclomphenine, it’s essentially a compounded version of Clomid. Raises T naturally, so far my T levels went up from 425 to 910 in a little over a month. Free T jumped 10 points as well. No side effects to report yet. Taking a pill everyday is so much easier than injections. Good luck
  8. Thanks prefer to keep it in the states as it will be a small session. I have made three to four grafts that need to be reduced as well as the new grafts. At 52 I want to be done allready
  9. Good guess sent out my photos to one clinic they stated 300 to 350 grafts.
  10. Yeah does look like Saul Goodman. Yes definitely going to pick a surgeon carefully as this should be my last transplant, I hope.
  11. Thanks now the fun part finding a surgeon that is relatively close to Miami.
  12. Yes, had two transplants in the 90s to the right and left side of hairline. When you look up close you can see the larger grafts and some spacing in between. Hard to see in the photos
  13. I am 52 hairloss is stable with dutasteride and oral minoxidil. I would like to soften my left side hairline as it has some larger grafts and it too straight. Any thoughts how many grafts I will need and any doctor recommended in Southeast US. I live in Miami and prefer not to travel too far. Thanks
  14. Darn, Adrian you look 20 years younger. Is it the hair or young lady, lol.
  15. I started Proscar/fin in 1997 then switched to dutasteride in 2001 when it was released. Presently taking oral dutasteride 3 times a week and 5mg of oral minoxidil daily. I started balding at 17, I would say I was able to keep 80 percent of my hair.
  16. I have been on 5mg myself for a year. I think that was the game changer in your repair. It thickens the entire scalp donor area and all. All my hair is extremely thick after one year.
  17. Wow what a home run, u must be thrilled with the continuous progress. Unreal
  18. Yes sir, I am religious of yearly checkups and blood work. Loniten oral for high blood pressure can go up to 40mg. I feel 5mg is safe for hairloss, would not go any higher.
  19. Have been on 5mg for a year. Excellent result so far zero sides. Hair is thicker all over. Very little shedding, can't believe this treatment was sitting under our noses since the 80s. I started liquid Rogaine when it first came out in the late 80s. I hated it as it was messy and made my scalp itch. Used many variations over the last 20 years of liquid forms. Nothing comes close to the oral form for results.
  20. Looks great Adrian, even outside that can be the harshest pictures. I bet your thrilled not hiding under a hat. Very happy for you, you deserve it after all you been through.
  21. Finasteride has been around since 1996 to treat prostrate cancer at higher doses. I don’t see all the millions that took it turning into women. Your argument is just plain silly. Totally agree with the other posters that wine about taking medication and are in a panic when they reach a Norwood 4. If you start it at you first notice hairloss you can possibly avoid surgery.
  22. At such low doses side effects are practically non existence.
  23. This is interesting. Since oral will protect your donor as you get older the topical will not as it’s only applied to the top of the head. I have seen donors thinning out with age exposing scars, etc. Any way to keep the donor healthy without an oral.
  24. I can tell you 100 percent oral minoxidil has thickened my entire scalp hair since I started on it a year ago.The hairs that fall out when I brush are all thick with a white bulb. Don’t see barely any miniaturized hair. Also, on oral dutasteride since 2001.
