Wow looks very good @Aftermath. Do you have any weak or weaker spots in any areas that you had grafts put in relative to the rest of the transplanted density?

Thanks mate. Tbh there aren’t really any weak areas. In fact the last time I saw dr hasson he commented on the fact that there weren’t any. If u look on the last page you’ll see a post by Doug to a YouTube link showing a comb through under my bathroom spotlights

lol thanks mate. Weird thing is, I do actually get non balding guys asking where I get my hair cut, how I style it etc and commenting on it in a positive way, guys that have no idea I’ve had anything done😂 in fact a guy at my gym who’s 50 and a NW0 has literally copied my style after asking for styling tips😂

Yours constantly looks great in your vids too mate. I’d say our results are pretty similar, both kicking baldness’ ass😂

May i ask why the branded propecia over the cheaper generic ? I took it for a few months and thought it worked better for me than the generic aswell. But everyone seems to be adamant that they are exactly the same.

Less chance of it being knock off imo. I get it direct from a high street pharmacy. I don’t have to split the tab so I know it’s exactly the dose it states, it’s in the foils with the day marked on them so it’s easy to comply. And tbh I took the generic one for a whole year after my (failed) UK procedure with Farjo and I actually think I had thinning - if u look at the pic in the OP you can see I was a diffuse thinner. Switched to brand name after my first hasson procedure the following year and I’m pretty sure I haven’t lost any hair since, so for me it’s a no brainer

Impressive indeed.  This is a homerun.  This is why it is important to sit in the right surgical chair .  Some doctors do not deliver like this, even those that are consider up there.  This doctor seems to put out great work.

I cant turn back time but im hopeful something can be done to remedy the damages on my scalp.  Seeing work like this makes a person hopeful.

Hey @Aftermath, congrats on some incredible results. Looks like your journey was well worth it. You must be thrilled.

Ive asked this question of others, but seeing as how you style your hair I’m assuming you use some product for hold and styling... that said, did you ever experience any minor loss in the recipient area when shampooing in months 6+ following your HTs? I ask bc recently when shampooing, especially in the recipient area I notice 5-10 hairs in my hands per shower. Wondering if this is normal or experienced by anyone else? Not sure if after a HT whether the transplanted hair is “permanent” or whether typical shedding during a shower is still normal? I’m also backing off the stickier molding clays which I’m wondering if perhaps have something to do with it as well. Thanks.

If anyone deserves a happy ending it’s you mate, you’re always on here offering really good advice. Sucks you got a bad result from what a lot of people consider a top clinic. It’s really difficult to see through the marketing with certain clinics and see them for what they actually are, unfortunately I’ve had a few people messaging me who had a similar experience to you, surprising considering the reputation the clinic seemed to have a few years back on this forum. Where are you with your journey at the moment? Have you got someone in mind to repair the issues you have?

Thank you, I’m very happy, you don’t realise how much hair loss really affects your life until you’re out the other end.

i use aveda products usually, their men’s range. Firm hold gel on damp hair before blow drying, then clay to style followed by firm hold hair spray.

how do you know it’s exclusively from the recipient? I occasionally have a small amount of hairs shampooing, which is normal. Certain times of the year it can be more, although I don’t pay much attention to where they’re coming from. Not sure if that helps, but I’d say 10-15 is normal. How often do you shampoo?

Thats some serious hair.  Any weak points in there? Many have said  HT is an illusion. That doesn't loo like an illusion. lol

Link to what I did to grow my hair back without a transplant. 2 year update.

Crazyness...hairporn...and one of the major reason why I am not giving up.

P.S. Can anyone of the modes correct the link in the initial post which should lead to the previous thread? Like most of the older links this one got lost during the forum upgrade.

Try this. Not a very good thread and most pics already posted tbh, but should work

Thank you! I think it is much easier to follow the timeline.

You really want from a poor balding guy, to someone with average/good hair to insane hair even for non balding guys. Never seen anything close to that.
