  1. Sounds like you still have good hair, just receeded. Transplanting hair in to existing hair can lead to shock loss, you may be best just leaving it for now.
  2. I've passed month 1, on day 30 at the moment. Not really much to report, donor is healed and the top of my head is not far from being back to normal, slightly numb still, but has gained back feeling there quite a lot over the last week. More grafts are falling out in the bath now, but i still retain about 60% of them, so will probably carry on shedding for another two weeks, maybe keeping 30%, the redness was not a problem for me, although there was slight discoluration in the recipient, there still is, but this has improved even more, and is not something that stood out much. The only comment i got was a few weeks ago someone said my hair looks like it's turning ginger ? But that was slight redness is all TBH everything is fine, not down or depressed, although there's always time for that later on
  3. A flap makes sense, but i always knew he wasn't wearing a wig... as no one would choose a wig like that.
  4. Might be some on youtube.
  5. Lookin good David, and no longer a bald guy. The fact that you can still trim the back to a grade 4 and hide the strip scar despite all the FUE grafts is impressive. Do you notice that your donor is thinner now?
  6. Was wondering how you're results was getting on. One way to look at it is that normally you'll look in the mirror and see yourself getting balder, now you can do the opposite and look in the mirror everyday and see yourself gaining hair. Only going to get better from now on.
  7. Dr James Boland, is he even a real doctor? I ask as because obviously he's a lying sack of you know what.
  8. You still have more regrowth to occur, so it's hard to say at this point. 80% of growth normally has appeared by month 8.... Who was your doctor?
  9. The swelling is more likely if the doc uses a lot of anastaisia. Dr Rahal generally does use a lot, but all docs mentioned on this thread are top docs, and the difference between H+W, Shipiro and Rahal and Dr Jones is the difference between average and world class. If i were you, i'd take consults with all three, send pictures to them and they will evaluate from there and give you an idea of what's possible.
  10. Just from reading her posts on here she would score high on the psychopathic scale.
  11. "Implantation of grafts in the critical areas" that means he'll do the implantation for the hairline only
  12. That's a hotly discussed debate, FUE or Strip, there are many arguments and counter arguments regarding this topic.
  13. What i do is buy Proscar and cut it up in to smaller doses, Belgravia will just try to overcharge you for what you can get off the internet for a LOT cheaper. You could go even cheaper buy generic propecia, same drug as proscar, different name. Looks like you have some minor recession at the hairline. If you look up Spex on google he has a site with recommendation from a GP that will prescribe you proscar, all you have to do is email him and fill in his form, Dr Steven Edgar.
  14. All the Jackson's seem to be out of their minds, lots of plastic surgery, he looks absolutely ridiculous, although he seemed quite sane on Celebrity big brother all those years ago.
  15. Depends, if the hair is weak or miniturizing, then it may suffer permanent loss.
  16. Difficult choice, but personally i'd go with Erdogan as he's cheaper and just as good, if not better? Hard to tell...
  17. Farjo clinic, also do strip and FUE. Dr Reddy is based on Harley street.
  18. Blimey that was expensive. Docs with more established reps charge a lot less than that. I have only seen good results from Dr Reddy though, so i'm sure you'll not care when those hairs grow in. Happy growing and thanks keeping us informed
  19. Lookin good so far and your donor density still looks good too. How many of the grafts would you say you kept growing percentage wise?
  20. I'm on day 17 tomorrow, still feel great, although may be different when the grafts fall out and i look balder. My head was clear of scabs by day 10/11, still have numbness at top of head, but Dr Lorenzo mentioned this could continue until around day 20. The healing from FUE really is much quicker than strip. Aloe vera gel really helps with the itch in the donor area.
  21. Unfortunately the links don't work, apart from the last photo.
