  1. You look good with a shaved head, no worries, and if you can deal with baldness and just shave it, then good on you. I think i could live with being bald and accept it, i just don't want to, and i am vain.
  2. Hey Ringo, I feel you, i'm also getting apprehensive about my first HT at the end of January!!! I want it, but keep panicking that all of a sudden my native hair will abandon me even though i've maintained well on the meds for 7 years, or that i'll regret it in the future and look a fool, then it passes and i'm sure i've made the right decision, only for the process to start over again! arghjhhhhh
  3. I remember this guy posting his pics on another forum a few years ago, fin and min i believe, maybe nizoral guys username escapes me Hawk maybe
  4. Congrats, but why Christian counselling, instead of counselling? Can you only counsel Christians? A masters is hard work. Well done
  5. To add to the above, i chose Dr Feller because of his cautious conservative approach, which matches my own, also some awesome transplant out there with his name on
  6. After researching H/T Dr's, i decided on Dr Feller, so i guess he's my numbero uno. After that i'd say, Dr Ron Shipiro - great hairlines Dr Rahal Dr Lyndsay Hassson + wong
  7. You could also use concealers on the front ?
  8. I've been going on (link removed) seems very honest and experienced posters
  9. I'm due in January for a transplant and i've decided not to tell anyone, at all. Best way, also have started wearing a hat more often so it does not look to a miss.
  10. I'm pretty sure Christian Slater has had a transplant, looks good too
  11. I've always felt the lasercomb was based on bomb science and this backs up what i've always thought. Unfortunately, in the early desperate days i got suckered by advanced hair studio and had laser treatments combined with minox. The only sensation i got from the laser, was that it felt like an increase of blood flow to the scalp, and that's it, and even that could have been imagined. On the hair loss forums there are amateur before and after shots for propecia and/or minoxidil, plenty of them, because they work.... Where are the amateur pictures from the laser comb? - I've come across plenty of people that have used it, but no results, speaks for itself.
  12. Then don't use the minox, but get on the proscar as this prevent further loss
  13. They are all rip off merchants who know nothing about hair loss, case in point, all their 'consultant' are actually salesman. Save your money!
  14. Modern day butchers, they even do cosmetic procedures like liposuction, probably just as badly
  15. I think it would be pretty stupid to stop propecia
  16. Hey Phil, Who did your surgery 2 years ago? and how long do you have to grow your hair to be able to hide the scar at the back? Regards petchski, and good luck with the surgery!
  17. Really good seeing this thread here. The poster formally known as badhairuk has the same type of hair characteristics as me, the same shaped head and freakishly enough the same ears, but that aside he must be moon walking down the street every time he goes to the shops his hair is looking so good.
