  1. That's what happens if you hit NW7, i don't think most people would notice the scar tbh, we do cos we're hair spotters.
  2. Growth has kicked in, looking good so far, early grower by the looks of it. Hopefully your donor should improve shortly.
  3. His frontal hairline looks very full, and with fine looking hair, big improvment overall. Do you ever do many FUE grafts in to strip scars? and if so do you find that they turn out well?
  4. If you want to see Dr Lorenzo results with the extractions done by techs look at that link i posted on page 1. In Madrid, techs do the extractions and have for a long time, Dr Lorenzo did them in Manchester because he didn't have his team with him. This was a concern for me too, but this put my mind at rest. It is still too early to see my result, but his techs were very efficient, and by the end of 2222 grafts being extracted, i had zero transections. Dr Lorenzo did the first few extractions just to make sure there would not be any problems.
  5. Yep, i can see why you're happy. Take it you're all done now?
  6. Phantom123 -You could try a concealer at two months, but maybe best to start your own thread about your experiences, and who your doc was etc...i would be interested in hearing it., needmoarhair - Your head is looking a lot like mine right now, i believe i do have shock loss now in the donor after looking in the mag mirror, someparts look a little see through, but it is minor and not a problem. But your looking good, with still many grafts in, i think im still rocking about 40% of them and i'm at 6 weeks tomorrow.
  7. Warm and cosy, a great place to read a book. Feller doesn't do more than 800 grafts a day for FUE and made his opinion on FUE very clear in the 'FUE vs FUT thread'. He did recommend Dr Lorenzo though, who i had already contacted previously, and Spex said he was a great choice as well. Dr Feller is an excellent doctor, but his rep is not as high on this forum as it used to be.
  8. Jurgen Klopp got a transplant, from Dr Vilnow, a German doc
  9. Yes he does, he has a massive amount of before and after s on https://vimeo.com/user23345553 He did temple point on me, but i'm only near 6 weeks post op, but if you keep looking through that link you will find examples in their, best thing to do is to contact the clinic with photos and you will get a response from Dr Lorenzo
  10. I've just crawled out of Dr Feller's ass to say that as the patient deleted his original comments, it's fair to say whatever happened has now been resolved, probably amicably. His claim of bait and switch is nill and void, as he removed said claim. There was obviously a misunderstanding or a failure on Feller and Bloxam's side to properly notify the patient. We'll probably never know for sure.
  11. Hey dude, looking forward to your update. My numbness has gone now, so i'm guessing yours may too soon. I'm still undecided if i have some shock loss on the donor. I'm still getting itchy spells with the donor too.
  12. So far looks good, although i can see the mixmatch in density, did the doc plant grafts in the middle bit where you had some native hair? I can't quite tell from the pic? Also are you on propecia?
  13. No evidence was offered up so the docs didn't need to refute anything, and often times when unsubstantiated claims are made they are ignored. It's possible Dr Feller shut professor up, or Professor over reacted and exagerated his claims, but either way i don't give weight to people who don't back up their claims and then retract everything by deleting those claims. That's why Bill locked the thread as these things can damage a docs rep, and all without a shred of proof. If i started a thread saying leftygolfer engages in sexual relations with farm yard animals and had the pictures to prove it, but didn't post them, he'd be mega pissed that the thread isn't deleted. Ok bad example, but you see my point.
  14. You are not going bald. And yeah that's a double crown, i have one too, or did have one i should say. The flash on a camara is very bright and harsh, but you're good, you can worry about something else now instead
  15. Great result, and very good documentation, thanks for coming back and providing an update, your hair looks great. 3000 grafts sounds a lot considering how good your hair looks, don't forget to keep some in the bank for later just in case.
  16. Nice stitch work. Dr Lindsay knows his scars! Be interesting to see it all healed up and then some hair grafts put in there. Will it be FUE or Strip, or mfue? or you not even thought about that yet?
  17. Damn sonnnnnn. You had many comments from people? Looks like your left side is lagging behind, but other than that you are miles better off then before.
  18. Oh and at day 35 my head is no longer numb on top...It's really weird when it is numb as it's like touching someone else's scalp.
  19. I'm not sure at the moment Pete, but if i do i may get some grafts put in to my strip scar as well as i'm having to use couvre to cover it still at the moment as it shows through at my current hair length, which is about a grade 3, but not sure if i have some minor shock loss in the donor area, so i'll have to wait and see how that pans out....not sure if i will still be able to buzz down to a grade 3 at the back. The strip scar has never bothered me before, but having to use the concealer on the donor area everyday is a pain.
  20. In a nutshell FUE healing is a lot faster, and less of an ordeal all round. You can be walking round without a hat 1 week after FUE.
  21. If i have any shockloss it is minor and in the donor area, hard to tell though. Recipient area does not appear to have any shockloss and i'd say with half the grafts still in i have more hair than pre op.
  22. Looks fine to me, you also had a 2.67 hair to graft ratio, never seen it that high before, lucky you. Something tells me you'll get an awesome result.
  23. I found the second op to be easier too, although first was strip, second FUE. Healing much quicker, numbness going away sooner, and i don't know if it's a good thing or not but still have about 50% of the transplanted grafts in, although been shedding quite a bit the last week. If i have any shockloss it is minor and in the donor area, hard to tell though, so maybe not. Day 32 here. Happy growing tj, only seen good results from Yaman.
