  1. Same here, I can tell a difference, but it would be nice to see a post op pic that shows the placement of the grafts, but all looks good from what i can tell.
  2. lol, only just seen this. Your hair is coming along, about where to be expected at the 4.5 month mark, month 6-8 is the real sweet spot for many with strip, but definite progress from month 3 to now, so just keep on keeping on Esrec.
  3. Looks to me like you are not washing your hair properly, or with enough pressure. At day 9 you shouldn't have so many scabs. You should be using the pads of your fingers doing mini circles over your recipient area, not just pouring soapy water over it...otherwise the scabs stick around longer than they need too. Also it is useful to let you head soak for a good few minutes to soften the scabs.
  4. I'd say i hung on to about 30% of the grafts, new hairs are popping up, some are quite fine and light at the moment so don't show up on the camara under the bright light. Dr Feller didn't specify strip or FUE, i'm sure H+W could get me an extra 2000, 3000 may be pushing it, but you never know?
  5. Looks like you've kept some transplanted hair as well. Will keep getting better from here on in now.
  6. Yep, big improvment from pre op, all you need now is added density. Mega session with someone like Hasson + Wong 3/4k grafts and you'd probably be set after that.
  7. I think it looks great, and i notice that a lot of people's hair looks thinner under a bright light, even guys with no HT or bad hairloss, unless they have super thick hair.
  8. I think you're maintaining your hair, it's maybe receeded a tad upwards, but not much. Keep taking the propecia, and enjoy the hair you have. I would not think about a transplant for years yet.
  9. I'd get on propecia first if not already. Try buzzing your hair real short for a while, rock the Statham walk, see how that works out, if not get a HT, but don't rush in to it. Don't lower your hairline too low if you do get a HT, go conservative.
  10. How does scar material effect the yield, would you still be able to get 90/95% from the implants you reckon Dr Lindsay?
  11. Garageland is a absolute legend, was in contact with him about using H+W, but decided on FUE in the end. Looking forward to seeing your final results Dutchie, from balding fox to silver fox, laydees, here he comes
  12. It is a concern, but i'm not stripped or FUE'd out, so i think i'll be fine, but maybe not be able to go grade 3 short again, time will tell. As mentioned by home, they do take that in to account and not take grafts directly above the scar that covers it. I think i've only got one last HT in me after this, and i'll probably use some of the grafts in the scar, Dr Lorenzo said 300/400 should do it. some docs say grafts in to scar results are inconsistent, but Lorenzo said he has good success with it as long the scar isn't too raised or too bumby. I've had two transplants of 4222 grafts in total. Dr Feller evaluated my donor as an average donor with about 6000 grafts, Dr Lorenzo didn't disagree with that, but said we'll see... Also i'll just mention that my hair looks better in person than on these photos, but will post more pics in exactly two weeks.
  13. The extractions took about 4 hours in total, but as mentioned not all face down, and there was lunch in between as well, and yeah i fell a sleep for about an hour and a half of it. Rahal, H+W, you're in great hands with either of those docs. The transformation from 4200+ grafts is going to be great... smiling? you'll be bloody beaming!
  14. Damn, i was looking at his barnet on Match of the day, thinking i'm sure he was receeding pretty badly before, awesome looking result, has to be meds and transplant working in conjuction, especially since he'd not lost the hair that long ago. Good spot
  15. I think it looks good, nice improvment.
  16. you've got lovely hair, wish i could pull off that style, ha.
  17. Just updating my blog with pics as well for anyone who wants to read and see my whole 'HT Journey' from my first strip procedure with Dr Feller, and my now my second HT (FUE) with Dr Lorenzo. "Your Blog has been seen 20633 times" Holy shhhhht
  18. WEEK 10 I have a feeling i'm going to be an early grower, and some hair definitely did not fall out and kept growing.
  19. Very true Pete, thanks for your post. Got delayed on doing a month 2 update, so i will do one now, and also add some pictures from month 2 and week 10. Obviously these are not the exciting months, but good for people who are following the thread now and in the future. At week 10 i already feel pretty happy, my hairline is more defined than it was pre op, and i feel my hair is improving, or it could just be getting longer ? But either way the doldrums stage has not been too bad for me, and i've just got on with life. This is month 2 photos
  20. This is a guy's experience, what's ridiculous about that?
  21. Thanks for the update, i think lowering the hairline on your third HT was maybe not a good idea, and i couldn't really see what results you got from Dr Bhatti, as the photos didn't really show it from what i could see, but i'm sure you'll be getting an excellent result from the Mfue.
  22. He used a laser device on me to create the hairline outline, but i didn't know he didn't do incisions seperately at the time, but does it all in one as he implants the graft. His techs are so fast at loading the implanter, but only as fast as DR Lorenzo is at implanting the grafts, his efficiency is amazing.
  23. Never saw this, didn't he get banned? Shame he couldn't take a joke.
  24. I think your hair looks good, if anything add density to the hairline without lowering it. The sides look thin, but i think that is cos of the way you style your hair. I think you are fine without another transplant for now, like HTsoon said this is a war and you don't want to run out of ammo too soon.
  25. It's because he wasn't breast fed as a baby.
