  1. Graphts all placed in hairline and front, nothing in midscalp. Im not on propecia, although its very important when go the HT way.. I decided in return for not using propecia i will leave crown bald... save donor for thinning that might happen in middle area.
  2. I was hoping to get more opinions on my progress so far specially from the experienced members here in the from to know where imnstanding before my 6 month review with Dr Vories comes but anyway below is my feeling about the procedure: Surgery it self went very easy Dr Vories looks so confident and solid rock fue doctor. I trusted dr to draw my hairline which he draw by free hand, right after dr start extracting from donor and then comes the implanting part, dr started implanting in my left side, left side went very smooth without any issues at all.... then moved to my right side which went very well as well except towards the end dr started to ask me if im comfortable and inwas tottaly normal not feeling anything wrong.. then he repeated the wuestion again and said hraphts on right side is popping up... it stayed like that until dr changed my head position then popping stopped and dr continued normally till end of procedure.i was worried and asked dr will this popping for graphts affect results he said no its only cost time to put the graphts in back again and nothing inshould worry about. Dr mentined that grsphts extraction was easy, i had minimum bleeding and this is good thing .at the end i asked dr what should i expect he said as i have god hair caliber i should expect good results. When scabs went away i noticed the mismatch in density (i posted a pic to show that above) and dr said that it looks normal and if im still concerned we will discuss that in the two weeks review....Healing went very well ... more than 80% of graphts shed after two weeks...i had shockloss in frontal third i was looking worse than prior to surgery but thanks to community as i was already informed to expect that... After two months and half i start seeing difference in transplanted area as growth kicked in and at three months it was very noticable (it looks better in real than pictures, i dont know why may be im not good at taking pics)...and since then its getting better day after day... If time go back here are the things i would talk to dr about: (its just from patient point of view it could be right or wrong) 1- I would request to separate the procedure into two days, personally i think the popping for grapts in my right side was becuz of fatigue factor and stamina of dr hands.. 2- left side texture is so smoth and just like scalp however right side scalp texture is not smooth as left one, again i bieleve that because of reduce of dr hand stamina and fatigue factor 3- there is a gap in right side between transplanted area above temple and side... its small but its visible... left side doesnot have this gap 4- right side temple hair angle is very acute not sure if my native hair is same angle or not but the new hair angle i think it could have adjusted better 5- right side hairline has about 3 or 4 graphts with more than one hair on it.. its not so visible but it would have been better if single hairs Let me know your opinion guys and what do you think about my proress so far....At the end id like to say im happy with my outcome so far and i recommend guys who looking for ethical fue doctor to consult with dr Vories.
  3. I had FUE done by Dr Vories on Sept 4th 2015 to reconstruct hair line and frontal lock. I attached pics before surgery, 10 days post op and 4 month update. Please let me know what do you think in my progress so far, Later I will add how surgery went, what is good and what is bad, (and if time go back what I'd ask Dr Vories or discuss about before surgery) but all in all surgery /healing was very smooth and I'm happy so far.
  4. I think the motivation is that you think you will get the best of Dr Dogany as you think you gurantee the doctor will treat this as special case, and based on previous good cases presented by this doctor in the past you expect you will end up with best result as you will be special case and dr would want to prove his work.... (so its for you more than helping doctor get back his reputation) ... but be carfull as this might not be smart as you thinking! Also take in consideration that dr is depending on techs for a while now so foung the whole surgery might not be so good now. (Sorry for bad English)
  5. No bleed at all. But Im worried about the pressure applied by fingers on the grafts.specially when scalp is numb and i dont feel it i cant tell how aggressive rubbing was .. could that damage grafts on the 8th day post op?
  6. I woke during sleep find my self aggressively rubbing my recipient area with my finger tips in the 8th day post op. did I damage the grafts?
  7. Is it worth for guys who know they will end at high NW to undergo HTs? Assuming that the high NW patient has the average donor area like most of men and BHT is not an option, also without meds? What would be the surgeon plan in such cases? I ask because I think its really difficult to get acceptable results for high NW patients , however, I notice that surgeons accept these cases usually.
  8. Thanks you all for taking the time to reply. I searched more about Dr. Vories suggested by you guys, and the info I found is pretty much what I'm looking for... The only thing is that I couldn't find enough patients results here on the network that had HT with Dr. Vories. (I searched the network found only 3). Another thing I like is that Dr. Vories is not using Neograft anymore and now is using manual extraction, but because this is new technique Dr. Vories is using not sure if its better to wait for sometime till Dr. Vories gain the required experience for the manual extraction. Now the real question is, I'm always think alot before taking any medication. So what is the point of taking finasterid which is NOT permenant solution it's just going to slow down hair failing for sometime and after that it will lose efficacy and hair it maintained will fall again and with high rate... I'm sure I'm missing something because everyone is recommending finasterid,,....What am I missing here please?
  9. Hello everyone, I start losing my hair since I was 20 years, now I'm 29. I need to know what is my NW scale and if I'll be a good candidate for FUE HT. I''m looking for conservative HT (as my family history is NW6), I like to cover frontal area and can live with little to no hair on crown (depending on donor area strength)... My worries about HT are looking weird with some hairs scattered on my head may be after 10 years or something when I lose more hair...Its hard to decide is it really worth to do HT, am I going to be happy again or might have bad luck and regret it..... If you guys can help me I'm really not able to decide if I should consider HT or just forget about the whole thing and accept how I look now (which I hate).... I'm searching for ethical doctor in usa who do FUE good to consult with... (sorry for my bad English)
