  1. You’re welcome! And I agree with JJ’s comment, your posts are generally pretty helpful in this community. 🙂
  2. Good decision. In the mean time you might want to give microneedling w/Minoxidil on your temples and hairline a try for at least a few months, you might get some good results that add more to what you’re looking for.
  3. I appreciate your reply and I understand that reacting with unintended bias and anger towards an ethnicity at a moment of tragedy is just being human based on instilled fears, I’m guilt of that too but facts and information and education tempers that. My criticism of your comments were more so based on the umbridge you took at an ethnicity of visitors touring/educating/paying respects to memorials of which their own ethnicity caused tragedy....I feel the opposite...I want to see more of the such so they can see up close and personal what the consequences of ones people’s actions caused and to take that back to their country and family and friends to not let such tragedies happen again.
  4. Sadly, this does not surprise me nor shock me. Corruption in the pharmaceutical industry is very rampant and always been, this and Johnson & Johnson, Purdue, Monsanto, etc etc
  5. No, your comment does not make sense....generalizing your predisposed assumptions of an ethnic group does not make it right or moral because of what a small minority of a similar ethnicity did to others in years past....if that is your justifying logic then I have some Native American friends that could assume the same of you. So according to you people of a similar ethnic background that may want to visit grounds of a tragedy to get an understanding of why scum bag people of their similar background did such horrible things or pay respects is off limits and triggering to you???...sorry not sorry but that’s sounds so ridiculous and obsurd. Should German visitors visiting the WW2 & Holocaust memorial , Vietnamese visitors visiting the Vietnam memorial, Korean visitors visiting the Korean War Memorial in D.C. all be reported to “guards” then too???? Would they make you so uneasy and trigger you to report them too?? Also, who are you to say and assume what other people are mindful of when the come here? It’s obvious that people coming to this country either on vacation or to legally live here do so because they want all the things that make this country great.
  6. Looks great! You definitely look 5-10-years younger now, congrats! 👌🏻👍🏻
  7. Yes, I’m a life-long New Yorker. Yeah, it’s very personal for me, it always puts a lot of things in perspective for me and how lucky I am, and thankful, so I thought I’d share since you took the time to make a reflective post. 🙂
  8. I use a derma pen with 12-needle cartridges and adjust the pen to 2mm on sessions I microneedling hard once every 7-9 days and apply Minoxidil foam an hour or two after, but I Also microneedle at 1mm every 3rd night gently and also apply Minoxidil foam an hour or so after.
  9. For myself, the memories are still so vivid, raw and emotional when I look back. I was there that unimaginably horrific morning, a block away, just arrived at my job by Wall Street. I was very young then too but it still feels like it was yesterday. Each year this day fills me with anger, sadness, hope and appreciation ... especially to all those the sacrificed themselves for others ... and still do.
  10. Sure! Here is my microneedling + Minoxidil progress thread: https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/54717-microneedling-may-2019-progress/
  11. Hi man, I totally agree with Melvin’s advice and input, you’ve caught it at a good time. Here is my Microneedling progress thread link: You may also want to go on YouTube and search Keratin Brotherhood, great informative channel especially for A.A. Hair loss but everyone in general, he is also on Reddit. Best of Luck!
  12. Your hairline looks great and natural, I agree with with the above comments, don’t mess with it now give it a bit more time and save your limited grafts for down the road.
  13. If it’s painful use it gently then. Big 3 is Finasteride/Minoxidil/Nizoral ....4th is microneedling.
  14. Yes, that is the typical needle amount derma roller most use although most start off with a 0.5mm derma roller. Be sure it’s of good quality and it’s needles are titanium. Good Luck
  15. Hi I would suggest you post some good clear photos of your back and both sides of your donor area to better get honest opinions. It looks like you have a similar hair loss to what I had but how well your donor is is what’s important.
  16. Looking at your photos, that does look like you received 3,000 grafts especially for your frontal 1/3rd, don’t stress too much. 🙂👍🏻
  17. Good advice by ⬆️. The popping out of grafts as you say might possibly due to thin blood in the surrounding are, as LaserCap mentioned if you are Indian/South Asian decent and consume lots of curcumen / Turmeric then that may be a possibility as they are know to be natural blood thinners and that may be why your grafts slipped out or “pooped” out....but I’m no doctor and that’s just based on what I know of supplements and diet. As for your scalp dryness or “harness” try applying some organic coconut oil....and of course give it time and take many photos. Good Luck!
  18. If you want to see an example of how microneedling your crown might be of help then check out my thread in the Open Topic section.
  19. Hi Looking at your photos, in my opinion, your donor has thinned pretty rapidly since your 2017 photos sadly. You wouldn’t want to go through the trouble and pain and financial pain just to get a 2-3,000 graft hair transplant that thins your donor region even more and a possibility that those donor hairs only last on your recipient are for a few years before they too fall out. With that said photos can be misleading and it’s best to get in person professional opinions as many as you can and like I mentioned to someone else here, look into SMP and microneedling and possibly give it a chance for at least 3-4 months before any HT procedure because 1,000 grafts that doctor quoted you just for your crown will not do much for your area size. Good Luck!
