  1. And I think you already know your donor may not be as optimal as you are hoping... but are just trying to convince yourself otherwise. I’m not trying to be harsh but just giving my honest feeling...🙂
  2. I hear ya, and feel for you, it’s a tough and always unknown beforehand situation to be in to wait and expect how progress turns out. The reason for my opinion is because I think you and I have similar type-hair caliber along with the graying even though I’m a little older than you I did start graying in my early 30’s. Going grey is fine and being able to pull off the “silver fox” look can look great...but I’d donor gets to patchy and see thru and obvious it could throw off the “natural” effect.
  3. Yes, even with these a bit longer donor hair photos you added, I really do think if you get more than 1,800 you’re asking for more worry and stress because it already looks a bit see thru to your scalp in your donor all over from looking at these photos, just my honest opinion.
  4. I still think you should give microneedling&minoxidil a go in your trouble areas for at least 3 months before another procedure to see if you gain some density without surgery but since you’re adamant about another procedure, honestly, if you do more than 1,800-2,000 grafts I feel your donor will look pretty patchy and leave you very unhappy no matter the surgeon or clinic, since you keep your hair short in the back and sides to go along with your look.
  5. Good video Melvin! A topic definitely not covered in tutorials post HT.
  6. I agree, millennials have better access now to better HT options at the swipe of a finger on a smartphone along with many honest patient perspectives that aren’t shills across the web and social media than in years and generations past, the sad thing is I’m seeing more and more younger guys (late teens and early 20’s) that have such advanced hair loss and balding compared to myself and older age groups so with that I can see the reason for the upsurge in HT’s. Not sure I agree with millennials being the reason for killing off industry...they killed themselves off by being short-term profit-driven stubborn business that didn’t want to adapt to new technologies...blockbuster and cable companies dug their feet refusing to adapt to serving the internet generation so other industries were incubated and jumped in...too bad soo sad Big cable haha.
  7. I don’t believe it’s anything specific in reasoning, with the amount of patients they handle post-op and other than I have kept in contact with my coordinator every few months and did send updated photos to here ever so often...I was month 15. They should definitely be asking you for your photos considering your positive dramatic transformation, I bet they’re just waiting to see if you get any further maturity progress at your 15-18th month...but still your current results are definitely worthy of being displayed by them.
  8. Looks to me as diffused hair loss. look into microneedling plus the big 3 (Minoxidil, Finasteride, Nizoral)
  9. My coordinator did contact me asking if I would take some post-12 month photos and send it to them last month...Instead, I replied that I would be visiting Istanbul once again early this September, for some dental work/vacation and I’d be happy to visit and let them take their pro clinic ‘after’ photos....which they did... They were all very nice, and I had a nice chat with Dr Erdogan and the staff as well as a nice tour of the new clinic (which is top-notch and impressive).
  10. I agree, quite the transformation from that last photo, like different new person! lookes like the guy on the right is your balding cousin I hope you updated your passport haha 😉👍🏻 Thats really classy and professional of the doc to offer you a free touch up!
  11. Could be growth but also could be grafts pushing the hairs up and soon out for the shed phase....unless you didn’t shed much in your previous procedures?
  12. That’s great to hear and I do agree, this site is an invaluable tool for prospective & current patients and those that are unaware of it are definitely missing out. I have told friends about this site whom were unaware so yeah word or mouth is great too. 👍🏻
  13. If I’m being completely honest...the best way to improve visibility and engagement to reach/help as many inquiring HT eyeballs for this site/forum is for the guys whom run this site to come up with a shorter, more direct hair loss or HT related domain name, register it, then have it redirect to here...as search engine rankings and results is what’s drives traffic. Just an honest suggestion.
  14. Here you go: https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/hairrestorationnetwork.com
  15. Hmmm...if you are only going to use the derma pen on your crown where you say no HT will be done and only your frontal area...then I would say starting there might be fine but I would stop any microneedling routine completely at least 2-3 weeks before any HT procedure so the scalp has plenty of time to heal. And of course follow your doctors advice and procedure. Good Luck!
  16. Great work Doc! Really great to see a long-term patient case like this, especially with the patient not being on medication.
  17. Thanks @Melvin-Moderator I’m happy to be of help and share, hope it helps many! The A7 supposedly has a better faster motor but I don’t use my A6 at a high speed anyway, and the A7 is only corded I believe unlike the A6 which is wireless with included batteries and can be used corded with the included attachment so to me the A6 is better and more versatile.
