  1. You’re welcome! Yeah, SMP might be a reasonable option for you but be sure to research a very good SMP clinic.
  2. Hi Honest opinion, I would say your donor is not sufficient even for 2-2,500 grafts, if that, sadly. Although, I would definitely recommend giving Minoxidil and microneedling a try for 3-6 months, and if you can tolerate it, Finasteride as well. Good Luck!
  3. Came across this article on social media.. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/sep/07/new-hair-loss-research-balding-medical-treatments
  4. Hi From your post and photos, IMO, your donor looks pretty good and agree, doing a FUT for your high level of loss would be a wiser 1st chose choice. The list of surgeons/ clinics looks good....I would also add Hattingen hair clinic in Switzerland and Dr Bloxham @ Feller in Bloxham in NY for FUT work. Get as many consultants as possible and the more in-person the better. Best of Luck!
  5. 1,500, not enough as area of loss was large and crown area is notorious for grafts not fully taking due to less blood circulation.
  6. Just a quick comparison update. Photos 1 & 2 are from July 3rd (about 1.5 months since beginning this routine) with normal lighting and flash and hair is 4 inches long on top. Photos 3 & 4 are from yesterday Sept 7th, also with normal lighting and flash and hair is 2.75-3 inches long on top. In all honestly I do believe this routine has helped a lot and I also think the maturation of my HT also helped as I will be 15 months post my HT in a few days.
  7. You’re welcome! Possibly there may be in Europe but I’m not too informed on it. Also, be aware that even with long hair fue it is mostly for the frontal hairline and temple region as it’s much more difficult to do long hair fue elsewhere, as well as that the newly implanted long hair grafts will also go through the shedding phase after a few weeks of the procedure, and regrow back in 3-4 months.
  8. You’re welcome and I’m sorry you feel your situation is as you say the difference between life and death, I hope that not really the case or no longer the case if you do get this procedure done as a way to ease your fears. Hasson & Wong are in Vancouver Canada and are on the more expensive side but produce very good to great results and ASMED is in Istanbul Turkey and they also produce good to great results (although I haven’t seen many unshaven fue cases) and are more affordable. You can find their contact info on this forum in the Find a physician page or google them for their website and contact them to confirm that they can do for you unshaven fue for your situation. Also, search YouTube for unshaven Ht’s to see any examples. Best of luck!
  9. I haven’t read many that are “THE” best at no-save fue but I believe ASMED and Hasson & Wong do and do it very well, it depends on your financial budget.
  10. Looks even better without the fibers directly in the hairline, definitely a more natural and youthful appearance! 👌🏻
  11. Huebner heavily advertises on YouTube with patient follow up videos....and not 1 I can say impressed me, his work is mediocre at best, he over-promises and under-delivers to the detriment of his patients their donor area and their wallets. Agree with what JJ mentions about him using old tech and Bloxham is a great choice for a follow-up procedure if you’re intent on staying in the US. That said, glad to hear you waited out the results shed and was able to grow back.
  12. No, I’m not saying it will take for you up to 1 year to recover the shock loss, just the sever case I saw, 3-4 months is much more realistic. No need to worry yourself just give it time.
  13. Grafts are very likely still in the rest phase, I wouldn’t jump to a conclusion that your scalp wasn’t suited or the grafts rejected....now If it was your 9th month then I would probably agree.
  14. You’re welcome! Possibly but to be honest Im more thinking it’s just traumatic shock loss that will regrow back with a little time. I saw a case on here a while back of a guy who had such really bad patchy shock loss it looked like Alopecia Areata but after a year it all grew back and his results looked fantastic, not sure if the case of on this forum or another but I do remember it.
  15. That looks like shock loss to me, it should grow back in a couple of months.
  16. Work looks good, there’s no way to predict chances of a successful result, but it helps to be very careful the first couple of months with your scalp, don’t use harsh shampoos, chemicals, fibers etc. best of luck!
  17. Hey man, work looks good albeit a bit bloody but nothing to be too concerned about as it heals and crusts over. Hairline does look pretty conservative but then again your hair loss at your age was heading rapidly and you can alway lower in the future if you choose to, coverage looks good too from the amount of grafts used. Good luck healing and your progress!
  18. Hmmm...is that really you Mr Bond..James Bond?!?! 😜 Looks absolutely amazing!
  19. Fantastic results man! Dr Lorenzo does great work. Congrats! Your hair both straightened and wavy looks really good imo!
