  1. Hey, Thanks so much for sharing your procedure with us. I too had looked into Pekiner for a while and almost decided on him but eventually decided against him due to how many people he aborts mid procedure. For me I couldn't afford to travel to a country more than 12 hours away only to be turned down. I was wondering if next time you get a haircut if you could show us how your donor area is healing. I would be very interested in seeing the difference in the extractions done by Dr Pekiner vs Dr Ferreria. Appreciate any help with this and good luck with your results.
  2. Even though the hairline isn't as dense as you'd like the doctor did a really good job at framing your face. It makes you look a lot better in my opinion.
  3. lol I know this is no laughing matter but Shera could work for the mafia. I bet he would be the perfect employee... I can imagine him threatening to break your legs if you ever said anything bad about Dr. Bhatti. But in all seriousness stuff like this is what makes people afraid to do hair transplants in countries like India and Turkey. I believe Melvin was saying something in another thread about how Turkish clinics are notorious for trying to censor their own patients. Stuff like that doesn't sit well with me which is why I'm probably going to avoid going to any clinics in these countries.
  4. Yeah what you're saying is true but someone with unrealistic expectations vs someone who has a complete failure are two different things to me. I guess one of the problems is you may never know what the cause of the hair transplant failure was... I figure a lot of the times the clinic is to blame but sometimes it may be the case that the patients physiology just doesn't work in there favor. The only thing you can really do at that point is look to see how the clinic handles it since that may be the only thing that matters. Either way If I had a bad result with a clinic I definitely wouldn't use them again even if they offered me a free procedure.
  5. When someone has a poor hair transplant procedure and then suddenly disappears I can't help but assume the worst. This happens all the time with a well known Canadian clinic (who I won't name). Usually I assume these clinics make some kind of agreement with the person to prevent them from posting anymore on the forums. I assume they get a refund or partial refund but have to sign a document that prevents them from sharing any information public-ally. As bad as it is though at least these clinics still offer to do something to make the patient less upset. I never understood why a clinic would rather have a patient on here destroying their reputation rather than just giving them a refund.
  6. If what you're saying is true then that's really messed up... It's almost common for patient reps to come on here and attack anyone who doesn't have a good result from their clinic so I'm not surprised to see that anymore. But if Bhatti's patient rep actually did those things then that's going way too far... that's pretty much to the point of black mailing someone. Dr Bhatti was the first surgeon I considered doing a procedure with when I joined this forum. In hindsight I'm glad I trusted my gut and decided to take some more time in selecting a clinic. You can't be too careful these days.
  7. I don't think Pekiner is a bad doctor - I definitely think he's one of the better doctors in Turkey. I also don't think he was trying to "game" the system like everyone else is implying. He simply wanted people to share the results of their procedures with him. Yeah he gave you a slight discount to do so but I don't think he would chase you if you didn't follow up with it. To me if a doctor wanted all his patients to show their entire procedures from beginning to end without knowing the full result means he must be pretty confident in his work. The only thing I didn't like was how his patient adviser handled the one bad result and it did kind of rub me the wrong way. I don't like when clinics attack and blame their patients when the results don't turn out the way they expect. Unfortunately its one of those situations where you may never know the truth and you can never be sure if it was the fault of the patient or the fault of the clinic.
  8. I don't think it was wise for the surgeon to extract from only one side like that. Should have extracted equal amounts from both sides as that would have definitely minimize the appearance of extractions from the donor area.
  9. Which Turkey doctor Melvin? Just tell me! Stop protecting them!
  10. Thanks guys, It's good to know. I'm still surprised that his assistant didn't know what I was talking about... but I'm glad to finally confirm it.
  11. Hey Portugal25, Do you know for certain if Keser is doing stick and place? I asked his representative about that and it sounded like he had no clue what I was talking about.
  12. He doesn't pay this forum monthly fee's like the other surgeons do. That's why. Trust me there's plenty of surgeons recommend on here that I would never trust for doing a hair transplant.
  13. Hi, just wondering but when you look at your hairline how natural does it look? Does Demirsoy place only singles in the frontal hairline or do you have any doubles or triples? I know the implanting is done by the nurses so I'm wondering how good of a job they did.
  14. Any update? I'm actually very curious to hear about what HLC said.
  15. I don't have any problem with that but I'm not sure why he hasn't told any of the forum members this.
  16. lol what? Eugenix prices went from 120 to 210? Wow... I had finally decided that they would be my hair transplant clinic if I choose India and I was flying near India in February/March. I was basically less than a month away from booking a procedure with them but now I guess that rules them out... At those prices might as well go somewhere in Europe like sweden or belgium. By the time I fly to India it would cost me more than I would pay in Canada. At more than double the price I think I would choose Bhatti. Eugenix is good but that price seems a bit steep to me...
  17. Even if your results stopped here which I highly doubt... your hair still looks at lot better than it used to. Thats already a good result for 3 months.
  18. Be careful guys... you're violating an unspoken rule in this forum which is never criticize Erdogan so don't be surprised when your post is deleted. I wouldn't be surprised if the moderator deletes this entire thread soon...
  19. @paddyirishman Do you know how Eugenix does their extractions? Do they use micromotor or is it manual fue?
  20. Honestly never too sure why it's so difficult to get good coverage on the crown. I've seen lots of guys not see good growth in that area even from very good surgeons. Kind of makes me wonder why that is...
  21. I've had several in person consultations. You guys do know there are plenty of surgeons using over-sized punches for extractions to compensate for their inexperience right? I understand many people often don't fully consider the effects on their donor area when they get an FUE surgery for the first time. I'm not saying any of the surgeons discussed here are inexperienced but there's been countless times on this same forum where I've seen people have their entire donor area demolished or over harvested because they think the only thing that matters is having the grafts extracted and implanted. I don't think taking extra pre-caution is "useless". I'd rather most people be extra cautious than assume something and not get what they were expecting in the end.
