  1. Melvin, again, this isn’t about scarring. It’s about improper extraction patterns and over harvesting. We’re ( myself and @Min12) are talking about this
  2. Great transformation. Give it til about month 10 ime and you’ll know. Otherwise throw 4-500 fue grafts at those thin spots and you’ll be golden.
  3. The work looks clean and progress looks good. Any post op donor pics?
  4. Wat? I’ve never shared my pics with you, or have I?
  5. I’ve seen some pretty good hairlines done by ciniks clinic. But the limited crown work ive seen wasn’t good. I’ve never even seen him do a crown where he recreated or added to the natural whorl. It seems like he just placed the grafts side by side just like hairline/mid scalp. i met one former patient of his that was getting repaired and he complained that his crown didn’t even grow at all with cinik.
  6. Bro....why are you going on these hardcore drugs after a hair transplant? Be reasonable and use fin or MAYBE dut if you’re sure you have a tendency for a high norwood. Oral spiro drops your testosterone levels as well as increases potassium levels so you need to monitor your diet very carefully. Oral minox can cause more body hair growth as well as affect your blood pressure. Please think long term. I know it’s easy to go overboard and you are pretty young (I also pondered going on oral spiro years ago when I was young but decided against it)
  7. Having “donor halos” are not ideal and doesn’t have to do with scarring, it’s simply due to donor depletion. I have noticed a similar issue myself. I truly believe this is due to larger punch sizes and harvesting too many of the multi hair grafts. A huge reason of getting fue is to be able to wear your hair short. But when you have areas of your donor that look like they are harvested at excess of 50%, it looks unnatural and you can’t wear a buzz cut because when your donor is patchy compared to the rest of your hair it simply doesn’t look natural. In addition, larger punches have the possibility of “collateral damage” by transecting nearby hairs. the above poster is right, clinics like asmed have pristine donors for the most part as they utilize the smallest punches they can (and I assume their punches have a small wall diameter as well).
  8. That’s dyed? Did you forget a step or something?
  9. Exactly....but what triggers the hyperplasia.....? SENSITIVITY TO DHT. You don’t need a doctor when there are likely hundreds of studies online that have studied this.
  10. If what you’re saying is true then why do Prostates enlarge in older men? And fin/dut is used to reduce its size? It’s exactly what the other poster is claiming...our genes make us more sensitive to dht. It’s not entirely about the levels of dht
  11. Stem cell therapy for hair? Anyone claiming they have this is a scammer in my book and I’d automatically cross them off my list
  12. Very curious to see this. I’ve heard surgeons state salt and pepper hair hides scarring well.
  13. I’m not denying you have good results but I’m willing to bet $1000 you don’t have anywhere near 100 grafts/cm2 square. With you being blonde and Caucasian, there’s a high chance your own donor isn’t even 100 grafts/cm2
  14. Doesn’t Bernstein only perform fue using artas? I haven’t seen many impressive fue results from them compared to h&w tbh
  15. Im still a bit confused Melvin. This site recommends doctors not clinics. Ok.... and you make it a point where techs do a majority of the work for cinik. Got it... but what’s the difference between a tech and a “junior doctor” who performs the majority of the surgery? What does “junior doctor” even mean? An MD? A DO? A PhD? Someone with zero experience that just got out of med school? I’d take a tech with 10 years experience vs a “junior doctor” with 1 year experience any day. I think we need more clarification.
  16. @Melvin-Moderator i think a great point has been brought up by @911fan. A while back a thread like this was brought up regarding dr cinik. However, one of the main points was that cinik has several packages where doctor involvement is variable. I believe eugenix has the same type of scenario where costlier packages get more “veteran doctor” involvement. Otherwise, it seems like unnamed doctors are performing extractions or doing other parts of the surgery. Anybody, please correct me if I’m wrong
  17. Why don’t u ask the clinic?
