  1. Looks thicker to me. How’s the scarring on back and sides?
  2. Yes def have those checked out. Is the first one oozing?
  3. Sorry I meant before any work and now. You had your front reconstructed for ur first procedure right? This thread is documenting your crown only
  4. John not sure if u got my previous message but your link and website do not work
  5. Amazing. Do you have a before pic showing your entire restoration before and after?
  6. It definitely can if you go to the right surgeon and get good yield. You’ll need to adjust your expectations likely in terms of density and height of hairline depending on your donor. You’ll also likely need at least two procedures in order to get coverage from front to back.
  7. I didn’t watch the vid but if he’s saying that I think that’s utter bs. If you take finasteride at 1mg per day the half life is 6-8 hours so that means there is still .5mg of fin in your system after one half life is completed. Another 6-8 hours later there is still .25mg of fin left in your system. So after two half lives are completed, fin is still in the system at therapeutic levels. There are studies showing that doses down to .2mg still inhibit serum dht almost as much as 1mg. secondly, 5 alpha reductase, which fin inhibits, does not build up quickly. So normal male testosterone levels really aren’t even a concern
  8. Process or details? Wtf all you talk about is density and how Nader has given you 100+ grafts/cm2. If you want to talk details ok let’s go: -what size punch was used for each of your 3 procedures? -what’s the average micron size of your donor hairs from the occipital, parietal, and temporal regions? -what storage solution does he use for grafts and what temperature are they kept at? -was a smaller sized punch used for your nape hair? What size? -trumpet, sharp, or serrated tip? -what rpm was the waw set at for your last two procedures? -what kind of implanter pens does Nader use (Choi or lion)? -what size implanters were used? i bet you can’t even answer one of these and you don’t even know where to start. Details? Puhlease. Log off....forever
  9. This used to be a huge topic back in the day. The debate used to go something like: “manual is better bc there is more tactile feel for the surgeon/tech and less stress/heat on the grafts since the hand is rotating the punch handle at low speeds” “but motorized leads to less fatigue for the surgeon/tech and leads to less out of body time since you can extract quicker” repeat from the results I’ve seen, I think Melvin is correct, it’s not about the tool (unless we’re talking about artas or other crap tools like neograft) but more of the skill of the person using it. ive seen amazing results from clinics using both when I consulted with hasson they moved from manual over to the waw motorized system and he even showed me pics of examples of extracted grafts (waw vs strip) and the quality of the waw trumpet punch was great. Many top clinics are using the waw system nowadays ive also seen clinics use no name Chinese punch systems like cinik and I believe dr Ferreira with great results.
  10. Wtf r u doing? U totally derailed the OPs thread by spewing bs. No one here wants to talk about drawing 1cm squares in the donor for extractions. We are here to see the updates on his results. I seriously hope you delete your account cuz your posting is annoying af.
  11. Marshall was there poor growth in those areas? If so any explanation as to why?
  12. Is she a doctor as well? What makes her a specialist in hairline design?
  13. Why did it take 200 grafts to realize there was a problem? This makes no sense trichogram? As far as I know trichograms are used for hair counts, not looking for miniaturization. Sounds like more bs to me. There is no doctor out there that uses this even doctors that operate on dupa patients. What does this offer vs a dermalite evaluation?
  14. That’s fine. I agree with all of your points but none of my questions are answered including the fishy behavior.
  15. Nizoral is a drying shampoo but it has proven benefits with studies. Personally I wouldn’t use it more than twice a week (most studies require 2-3 times a week use). And use a conditioner afterwards. The 2% is more drying than the 1%. I find the 1% to be not really drying at all and just like a normal shampoo. revita has less than 1% ketoconazole ( I believe only .2% last time I checked with the company so it’s quite low)
  16. I dont want to start throwing names out because it's not fair. So if HLC agreed to perform surgery on @duchaine after pekiner noticed miniaturization, and they are the ones that provided pekiner with a good amount of his training since he worked there for many years, and they are known as one of if not THE most ethical surgery centers in Turkey....why did Pekiner reject him? Seems very fishy. Also, still doesnt answer the question of why Pekiner started surgery without thoroughly using a dermalite to look for miniaturization. Miniaturization does not require grafts to be extracted (especially in excess of 50-100) as far as I'm aware. He did this with another patient on here from china. Took out a bunch of grafts then stopped mid surgery. Never heard of a doctor doing this. On top of that, it seemed to occur more often after @dredd77 posted his results. Then pekiners rep came in on a mission to try and remove the bad review. Doctors like ferreira and lorenzo strictly use a dermalite to analyze the donor to look for miniaturization and a high percentage of single grafts. So after pekiner rejected @duchaine, who did he refer him to since he was "not confident he can achieve a good result?" Or did he just send him back home? It would also be interesting to know if he also charged him for surgery.
  17. I highly recommend you stick to what you're using (easy accesible treatments like minoxidil finasteride and nizoral shampoo). DS labs has been around for a long time but they constantly change their formulas and there was even a time where they blamed some hurricane on stopping their production which left their customers without treatments for many months. What you buy today may not even be the same formula in a year. secondly, their stuff isnt as proven as the standard minox, fin and nizoral shampoo
  18. even...KONIOR 😮? someone show me a thread!
  19. looks like its JUST starting to take off. remain patient, i think month 4 will be fun for you
  20. I heard the new artas, i believe its the iX mode uses smaller punches? I believe thats one of the improvements they focused on
  21. I dont know if there is any concrete answer to this. However, it would behoove you to disinfect with any procedure you are performing that draws blood in order to prevent an infection. Especially during these times you probably dont want to get admitted to a hospital or have to go see a doctor because of an infection. Many use alcohol but i'm not sure if thats detrimental to the roller. In the famous indian study they used betadine to disinfect the scalp, maybe this would be good to use on the roller too? I have no idea
