  1. Seems like the larger procedures blend better, not as isolated Inna certain area. As if the scars almost merge together making it blend.
  2. Hope everything turns out the way you want. Fue has gone a long way. I remember just a few years back most doctors wouldn't do fue on AA hair, only fut.
  3. African american type of hair is apparently extremely difficult for HTs but the work on you was pristine. And bc your hair is naturally curly is really hides the donor area very well. On top of that being darker complexion makes the ugly duckling phase not as noticeable as you don't really see the pink in the recipient area. Looks good!!
  4. Looks good and only those who know about fue and are looking for it can tell something may have been done. I find that the larger scale fue procedures make it harder to see as it's scattered throughout the donor area and looks more uniform. Whereas with a smaller procedure the dots are more spread out and easier to pick out. I have to say though that the shortest part of your hair looks like a #1 and not 1/2 guard.
  5. Errr. Yes they tell you to stop taking it prior to surgery and x amount of days after, but you're allowed to resume. So if you stopped taking minox completely, then chances are the transplanted hairs more or less replaced quite a bit of native hairs your lost from stopping minox....
  6. Excellent choice. Pretty sure hw and Dr diep charge the same too, and the results aren't really comparable imo.
  7. The hair angles and also over use of multi hair grafts on that one side is pretty unacceptable imo.
  8. I noticed this too when u used to use it years ago. I've moved on to a shine pomade like reuzel though as I style my hair's different now
  9. Only half of those look good. The other half look meh or even bad. The biggest give away are ones with the perfect hairline that's too symmetrical and too dense. This place is by far the best I've seen in SMP, https://instagram.com/ink.barber?igshid=ab10lkewd3i4
  10. I had the same gaps from crusting and mine DID grow in those areas. Can you post pre op pics
  11. Ya. I remember when I was pretty much one of the first documented on this site. Quite a lot of pessimistic people at the time. I had all the confidence in HW even if FUE wasn't necessarily known as their forte at the time.
  12. I always find it interesting that non scalp fue leaves little to no scars. I wonder why...
  13. My redness lasted mths. It was the worst in florescent lighting. And after hot showers. Rogaine def made it more apparent. Even now at times it'll be Pinker than the native areas after a hot shower and immediately after application if rogaine to my scalp but will dissipate.
  14. Don't do anything.
  15. Fue can be easily camouflaged by smp. Whereas with an fut scar, even with smp, you'll still see a faint discrepancy.
  16. I always knew he used quite a bit of concealer. You can tell bc there were a disproportionate amount of actual hair strands (very few) when's styles vs how dense and dark the scalp looked. Hes how old now? Probably doesn't even really care anymore if he's going out in public like that. Of course, the lighting is horrible and it probably doesn't look half as bad in real life.
  17. For 7 mths you definitely need to give it more time. The hair is still shorter than the rest of the hair on your head and needs to grow out. Wait until about 12 mths to make a fair assessment.
  18. Just realized u meant hasson OVER Wong. Not hasson and Wong. I was actually assigned to hasson by default. I didn't choose. But I don't care who I had, but looking back I'm glad I got hasson bc I like his hairline shapes better. So it worked out.
  19. I think I was told 3 weeks or so. I only did for about a week. Like you said half life is only 24, but not sure if it has to do with what the formula does to the scalp as well... Better to ask your doctor. I know increased blood flow can cause grafts to pop and excessive bleeding.
  20. Smp has also come a long way if done by someone good and can camouflage the due scars pretty damn easily if needed.
  21. I'm a strong believer that it's not good for you regardless of whether you show obvious side effects. I'm not a fan of anything that messes with hormones. My hair loss is slow enough for me not to be too concerned. I may opt for one more procedure as a touch up but that would probably be the extent of it. If by the time I'm in my 40s and my hairloss progresses even further, I'll just accept it and carry on with my life.
  22. 😂😂. I agree though another awesome result. Small procedure similar to mine too.
