  1. If you like Diep's results and you feel safe and comfortable with him and his plan, I would do it.
  2. I do think that boards like this tend to focus on outliers i.e. "My HT came out great!" or "My HT is a disaster!" Most patients have average donors and have average results, which look totally fine. If I was this guy, I would be happy with this result. If this guy is happy, that is the most important thing.
  3. It sounds like you’re a little bit in a panic. That’s not the time to make a decision. You already had one transplant that you were dissatisfied with. Maybe really think before you commit again.
  4. Others might disagree, but I say the answer is "never." PRP does not work. Save your money for your FUT.
  5. Who did you pick? Good options in NYC.
  6. Others may disagree, but I do not think you really need a HT. I understand you may want one, but your hair looks good to me and you risk making troubles for yourself with a HT. If you do one, as I suspect you will, be very conservative with what you have done.
  7. If you have any hair loss at all, it is super early. Not sure you have hair loss. Maybe just mature hairline.
  8. Honestly, if you have the patience you can wait until 18 months, as people do make gains from months 12-18 after HT. If you absolutely cannot wait most docs would operate again at 1 year, some at 10 months.
  9. It is true that HTs and systems are all over TV and the movies. Their livelihood depends on their appearance, so it makes sense. I think there are lots more systems than HTs on TV. It is faster and easier for them, and they have access to some of the best systems that can be made on the planet.
  10. Looks good! I see a lot of guys getting FUE in the 4000 range...not sure how many donors can handle that many grafts, but it looks good! Keep us posted.
  11. I will say that the work of his I can see online looks pretty solid. Ask to talk to one of his prior HT patients.
  12. I parted it down the middle all through junior high and high school. When MPB hit, that was the first thing to go. 🤥
  13. Essentially, if you shave your head after FUT or FUE the scars will show. FUT moreso than FUE, but if you want to shave your head maybe skip the HT if you have not done it already.
  14. The lead up to surgery can be very stressful, especially the last few days. If you are confident in your decision and your surgeon and your plan, move forward. If you are not confident, it is ok to hit the pause button and think a bit more.
  15. Be very careful. Your donor is depleted and looks overharvested. If I were you I would not take any more from the back. Your top does not look too bad if you were NW6 beforehand. Maybe stop with the surgeries.
  16. Looks very nice. I suspect you will have a great final outcome. Keep us posted.
  17. I may be an outlier here but it does not look too bad to me. This is the reality of FUE...you will have a sparse donor area and I am sure you had some shock loss which takes time to recover, often months. I suspect in a few more months it will look better still.
