  1. If I were you I would not have another procedure. You have a great result. Not sure the risk is worth it at this point. Beware hair greed.
  2. I am not sure you have 4000 grafts to spare from your donor. While these boards often highlight large sessions, many people simply do not have that many grafts to spare. Also, the hair in your donor looks fine in caliber, which will also limit what you can harvest and cover on top. If you had either an FUE or an FUT of that many grafts you may deplete or over-deplete your remaining hair. For someone in your situation, with essentially NW6 status, you might want to consider going in smaller steps i.e. have a 1500-2000 FUE or FUT to restore your front and top and see how it goes. I think it would be a mistake, IMHO, to try and do a giant surgery all at once given your overall situation.
  3. Take a day after surgery to rest up and sleep in your hotel. If you feel fine at that point and your doc is comfortable with it most would say you are ok to travel. It will not be a fun day, but lots of people travel in this timeframe.
  4. It might be good to get a few consultations beyond what you have had and see what the general consensus is before you commit to any surgery (or not). I am sorry you are having a tough go of it, but you really need to be certain about what to do before embarking on something you cannot undo.
  5. Looks about right for 1800. Sorry you are going through such an ordeal.
  6. Hmmm...this whole story took a funny turn...Yaman was awful and now he is great?
  7. Sali, Please update us. I am very interested to see how you did. Louis
  8. Also, you appear to have fine blond hair so results tend to look thinner even if they are good.
  9. I dunno...I may be the outlier here but I think this is a worrisome situation. He should be seeing a lot at 4 months. I wonder if he was too densely packed and his blood supply could not support it. Keep up posted bro. Pulling for you.
  10. You can think about HT now. Don't think you have to have a huge surgery-try not to use all donor in one shot. Have a long term plan.
  11. I think if you have had FUT once before and did well there is no reason you could not do a 1500 graft FUT. Remember, you have to do what works best for your individual situation.
  12. I have been following your progress with interest! It looks like a great outcome! Congrats!
  13. As a general rule, I think high hairlines look more natural, especially as you get older. I worry that guys who have had a low hairline created by HT that looks great now will look silly at 50-60-70. Relax, take a deep breath. It looks fine.
  14. Sadly, for donor shock loss there is not much to do but wait it out. It usually comes back, but it is a tough thing to wait for it.
  15. First, don't let people scare you about FUT. For many it is the better surgery. Not saying FUE is bad at all, but these boards tend to be very hostile to FUT and most FUT scars are very, very hard to see. Posters tend to minimize FUE risks and overstate FUT risks. Second, I am not sure you need HT at this point. Maybe consider maxing out medical options first and try to spare yourself surgery at all.
  16. IMHO from the limited pic you sent you look fine and I would not do a HT if I were you.
  17. I think you could have a HT and have a good outcome with the following caveats: 1) Forget about the crown. 2) 9000 grafts is going to be a big stretch for you by any route (scalp/beard/body). 3) If you just focused on the creation of a mature frontal hairline and filled in your top you could get a good outcome that would look age appropriate and would last you a long time. 4) You need to pick your surgeon very, very, VERY carefully. Only the most experienced and well respected docs should be on your short list. 5) Recognize that a case like your carries a disproportionate risk of a bad or poor outcome. You look bald but totally NORMAL now and you may be jeopardizing that for a very unnatural look down the road if things do not turn out very well. I understand the stress you are under and the pain of hair loss, but PLEASE be very careful before you agree to any surgery by anybody.
  18. It does look like a low yield for 2k grafts. You might want your surgeon to take a close look.
