  1. Thanks Lukeyb!! Shed has hit now lost most of the transplanted hairs and seem a lot thinner then before ahhh! Never mind it was great while it lasted:D I will need to keep up with your thread! palma13 I sent 3000 euros over before I flew then took the rest in GBP so saved on the exchange rate. Customs you can take up 10k without declaring. They quoted up to 2600 before I flew out, but with further inspection when hair was wet etc they advised up to 3500 to get full coverage in the front/mid section but didn't have enough cash for that so went with 2800. my main focus was my frontal section so was happy and the fact I wanted to save enough grafts for down the line. mosd I am not sure? Erdogan just advised me that I should get better results with proscar, with him provided a years supply I was happy to accept, as at the end of the day he wants the best results so it looks good for the clinic. Just a pain cutting them up, but he does provide a cutter.
  2. Below are my 10 day post op photos. Most of my scabs had fallen off by 7 days, I think if you have a good washing regime they are easy to get off. Digging my hairline and dreading the shed in the coming weeks... I’m 14 days post Op atm and nothing has changed. Will up date in a week or so...
  3. 5 day Post op - All going well so far only pain I am having is in my donor area but nothing too bad. Swelling has go down massively and scabs are coming off when washing.
  4. Hello, I will keep it sort and sweet and try to keep the thread up to date as best as I can. Finally took the plunge and underwent a hair transplant after years debating and looking at forums. 27 years old been losing my hair since my early 20s. Had a few consultations in the UK and online but decided on Erdogan due to results on this forum and others. My main focus was my hairline/frontal area. Stayed in the Radisson blu over the weekend as my procedure was on the Monday, really enjoyed my stay as the room, food and staff were great. The Staff at ASMED where fantastic and was very impressed with the building. My stats 2828 Grafts 290 single 1003 Double 1279 Triple 246 quadruple 8 Quintuple 2 sextuple Ratio – 2.54 Calibre – 55 microns Donor capacity – 8300 Generic finasteride 18 months Dr Erdogan told me to change to Proscar which he supplied me.
  5. Hi lukeyb, Yeah I have got to end of my tether with my frontal 3rd comb overs etc ha. Thanks for the insight. I have been in contact with Dr. Edrogan coordinator again and luckily am able to get a date with them and in the process of booking up!!! I will try and keep an updated thread going following the surgery to help more people like me.
  6. Thanks for the replies got caught up in xmas and new years. I have considered FUT and nearly proceeded with it. But do like my hair shortish on the back and sides and worry about further down the line If i need to buzz it all off and the scar will be visible. Still talking to other docs on your recommended list hopefully make a decision soon.
  7. Hi speegs, Been on fin and Bition for the last 18months which has helped a lot with crown area and general thickness as before everything was see through and since about the age of 24 I have had the dreaded island and nothing is going to grow back in them areas wish I started earlier.
  8. Yeah sorry forgot to mention that FUE would be the route I would take. Thanks
  9. Been a lurker for sometime on the forum but in need of some advise. Been suffering from hair loss since 22 years of age now nearly 29 and feel it's about time I did something about it as it's wearing me down. I have been taking fin for the last 18 months which has helped greatly as I feel would have shaved it all off by now if I hadn't started. My main concern is my frontal area and temples for a better frame. I really want a hairline back ha I have had number of consultations with uk based clinics but didn't get a good feeling with each of them and not many reviews out in the world. I know it shouldn't but cost is factor due to getting married In the next 18 month, which is also reason why I want a HT I have looked into tech clinics but feel it's too much of a risk. Consultations with top clinics in Belgium, Spain but the expense is too great. I have had conversations with Doctor Saifi Poland and advised 2000 Grafts and read some good reviews on this forum seems very ethical. Just worried that I won't the density I desire and don't want to feel a year down the line that I need another one soon after. Any thoughts? I am considering Turkey now after what's gone on over there seems to have calmed down and know a few people that have traveled. Spoke with Dr Erdogan but unable to get me in due to the time I can get off work. Also spoke with Dr Dognay who recommended 3000 grafts. I have read a few bad reviews but seen a lot of great work by the doc over the last year or so on this forum and others and is more hands on which I'm looking for in my doc I choose. Thoughts? Anyone else I should consider? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
