3.5 months behind you now. You're at the cusp of regrowth. I know how it must feel now - what if there's no growth et all - but trust me your work looks far cleaner than mine. I actually showed your post op pics to Dr. Arika and asked why mine wasn't this clean. It was that good. Like you had a shower

Kudos to you for sitting tight along this frustrating ride. I am myself about to embark on it. May you get great results.

Even if it were MBP in your case it would be very slow progressing, which is quite normal with age to be passed off as a mature hairline. Revaluate what you see a couple of years down the line and get a HT only when you hit a NW2 minimum. You're barely a NW1. Some docs might even classify you as a NW 0. Don't jump on any medication or pills or anything right now. Those are for people with rapid MPB. There's every chance this may stabilize, or has already (like you mentioned). Mine stabilized after 2 years of slow progression. I hope you don't worry about this for now, for I know I went batshit crazy at 23 when I saw my receding hairline.

HT - Dr. Cinik clinic (2600 grafts) DHI
Captain Haddock replied to vanilia's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I understand the hairline looks thin under harsh lighting conditions, and I am as conscious about my hair as you - but this can be easily fixed with around 700-1000 grafts or so. Someone mentioned about doubles or triples in the hairline, and I notice them too. Basically a small rework to fix density and front 2 rows should give you the look you want. Apart from that your hair looks great, there is no visible balding. Maybe post pictures in bright light/flash on? -
I think I see enough. You can look at mine and they are around the same. My completely receded left temple got 242 grafts. And it looks full now. In your case there will be a major improvement in looks overall, probably more than mine as mine was more of a touch up/face framing HT in the frontal zone.

1090 grafts uk clinic not happy so far!!
Captain Haddock replied to Jack dean's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
It's a slight improvement (if it can be really considered that) but a sloppy job. In the end you have to compromise as a patient. Be sure to choose a clinic that will do a class job in one shot so that you don't need to run around in circles getting touch ups. Anything below 2000 grafts shouldn't have re-dos except in exceptional cases (maybe crown). It just pains to see 1000 graft procedures not coming off properly. This can't be considered a major improvement as there was no balding that was troublesome to begin with. The obvious benefit would only be when the procedure enhances the appearance of your already-existing set of good hair. -
Best gift to yourself this Christmas
Captain Haddock replied to Homeerestre's topic in Off-Topic Posts
I got it for PC and finished the game. It's only after you spend around $60 do you realize you paid for nothing but hype. You could easily get 30-40 grafts with that price on your crown mate 🤪 -

Hey bro, wanted to meet you at the clinic, asked the staff but they said you were on a holiday. I see you're back on the job. Love your results by the way. I'm taking 3mg/week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I think my hair loss has stabilized since the last two years, Dr. Arika felt the same way also. Anyways I'm being a little cautious here.

Hair Transplant Turkey with Dr.Erkam Caymaz 5200 Graft
Captain Haddock replied to okrok's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Not sure if this is satire to mock the doctor for his work, but if you are happy with your results God bless you bro. Edit: I'm sorry I said the above bro, it seems to me you went in hoping for the best as an uneducated patient and your surgeon didn't really plan your case well. Since you've said you're happy, that should be fine but I truly hope you go in for a slight touch up with a better clinic in the future. -
Finasterid 0.5 mg - tipps please?
Captain Haddock replied to Hamit38's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Get an Indian generic supply. Dr. Reddys or something. I paid €2 for one months supply. 3 tablets a week is my dosing so one strip lasts me two months. Nothing will be more costly than causing harm to your hormonal system man. 1.25mg is not recommended for MBP. Those kinda doses are for people with an enlarged prostate. See if you can cut the pill up further or alter the frequency.- 37 replies

Finasterid 0.5 mg - tipps please?
Captain Haddock replied to Hamit38's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
1.25mg daily is above the recommended dose for MPB bro. That is a little too much you might wanna dial it down back to 1mg.- 37 replies

Finasterid 0.5 mg - tipps please?
Captain Haddock replied to Hamit38's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I've been following these guys for dosing: Essentially what they state is that 3mg/week should be fine for anyone, while avoiding some of the common side effects. 1mg of finasteride stays in the scalp for an entire month. The first 6-8 hours it is at its peak, and then it reduces to its half life. So a tablet everyday doesn't make sense is what they say. Do give it a watch.- 37 replies
