  1. It is post-op, you can clearly see the red blotches where the grafts are even though the photo is horrible. In my opinion judging by the photo and another of Keller's cases, he is stating a larger number of grafts than he is actually doing in reality, or is mixing up hairs and grafts. Simply doesn't look anywhere close to the numbers he is stating.
  2. Hasson does the highest level of dense packing in the world from what I see, especially with your ridiculous hair caliber and number of grafts in a smallish area should be close to perfect. You're probably his idea of an ideal patient.
  3. Go to Hasson and Wong for a procedure to fix your situation, I guarantee your experience will be completely different and you will get good growth. You made a mistake by not listening to what others recommended before you went for surgery, it should be obvious to you when looking at your terrible results. When you say that most doctors have no patient posted results, you clearly did no research and don't have a clue what you're talking about. The number one best way to judge a surgeon is judging a consistently churned out set of patient posted results, and judging statistically what their success rate is. If they have virtually no patient posted results like Keller, you objectively cannot make a judgement about their quality, you have no statistical, fact based means of doing so. Plenty of Surgeons have significant numbers of patient posted results so this shows absolutely that you did no research, no one should go to a surgeon that doesn't have 15+ in the last 18 months minimum and ideally more, some examples being Erdogan, Lorenzo, Hasson/Wong, Feriduni, Bisanga, Keser or in the United States Diep. You got a bad result because you didn't listen to people who are more knowledgeable than you or consider the facts properly, I doubt you'll do it but what you should do is consult Hasson/Wong or other surgeons experienced with higher norwoods and diffused cases like Erdogan and Lorenzo. Your frustration is purely your fault because you don't listen to people trying to help and got a shit result because of it, not to late to fix that though.
  4. You keep posting this, truth is its a photo clearly close to a decade old and it is posted by the clinic who only post their best, not posted by a patient. In terms of recent patient posted results of those in a similar situation to you, there are none. Imo you should seriously reflect on what I'm saying rather than just constantly ignoring any and all advice given to you. You're the one who is unhappy right now despite going against what everyone else told you prior to the procedure, consider that there might be a reason for that. If its not obvious enough, its that you should have gone to an absolute top-tier surgeon to minimise risk, especially considering you had no financial issues stopping you from doing so. When you posted on the other forum, many, many people told you specifically a set of top-tier surgeons, you ignored all of them and told them they were wrong purely based on the same two decade old results you post saying this is what you expected. I was 99% sure before you even went for surgery you'd end up in this position, if I'm to make another prediction, I think you'll end up with virtually no growth as is the case for the moment, and that you'll opt for a touch-up with the same surgeon and get an equally poor result. What you should have done is listened to the people with more knowledge than you who were clearly trying to help to begin with and gone with a top FUT option such as Konior or Hasson/Wong.
  5. Your problem is you NEVER listen to advice. Could see your situation from a mile away, I'm not saying it to be harsh but you should have listened to the people who recommended where you go to begin with that were clearly trying to help. To be honest at 6 months and with that little improvement I would be considering your future options with top surgeons like Konior or Hasson/Wong that were recommended to you previously.
  6. You should have listened to the people on the other forum when they recommended top-tier surgeons like Hasson and Wong to you.
  7. Nothing against the standards here, but his reputation is so far above the average even on a site like this that I think maybe from his perspective he's better off maintaining that lone ideal of perfection that he's viewed for in general than associating with a broader range of surgeons of varying standards. I suspect that's his thought process anyway, definitely one of the few in that position
  8. Problem is there have been at least 4 of these similar 'fake style" reviews from the clinic recently. No idea why they'd need to do it, but maybe someone at their marketing department wasn't smart enough to figure that out.
  9. Get your eyes checked, virtually nothing has grown. Literally no more than a few hundred grafts, utterly delusional comments about a large area. Obviously some people here clearly not actually looking at the post-op, have poor eyesight or need to ditch the low definition CRT monitors but the forelock has a very small amount of grafts for reinforcement, the temples and very front are the areas with 90% of the grafts. Use your god given eyes, the area is clearly placed with a reasonably standard and high density, its not significantly different than your case. OP, you're likely not entitled to a refund but I would certainly ask and see what the clinic will do. I would not go back for a touchup if that is offered.
  10. To be fair, 75% or more of the surgeons recommended on here virtually never do temple point work, or very minor tweaks rather than full restoration. Patient posted results would be much preferred than just clinic posted for a recommendation, but at least off the basis of these cases and the appearances of the post-ops there are surgeons that don't deserve it as much as Alcaide seems to. I'd be more inclined than usual to trust the standard of work here because of the BHR association also. But should be mentioned that Spanish hair makes a gigantic difference, especially in this hairline case I don't think the density is particularly high but it appears better because of his hair quality, especially at the temple closure areas I can tell it is quite thin but it still looks natural.
  11. Finished product outright one of the top five transplant results I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately gives me some serious hair greed and desire to address my temple points too, huge difference.
  12. That also clearly show and state that there is significant scabbing and gaps of hair missing, but whatever you say.
  13. Considering your extensive loss, the only clinics I would be considering in Turkey are Erdogan at ASMED or Cinik if you have budget issues.
  14. This pic was taken after you’d already clearly lost a significant amount of transplanted hair post-scabbing compared to direct postop including a lot of the singles.
  15. For 99% of the population and looking at a diverse range of foods, controlling calories in calories out is virtually an absolute mechanism for controlling body-weight. Denying this is denying the laws of reality, and an excuse for pathetic losers who not only can't control their eating habits, but are so insecure they resort to denying basic laws of physics to explain their weight problems. And also These two charts alone show very clearly this as a conclusion. There are some foods and forms of macronutrients that require differing amounts of energy to digest, and different people have different metabolisms, but in all cases a calorie in is a calorie out. Its idiotic to state otherwise, no ones metabolism can turn 200 calories into 400, which is essentially what you're suggesting.
  16. Typically I do not like the idea of a test procedure for various reasons and wouldn’t recommend it, but although I didn’t think of it initially this might be a reasonable option to consider. The only issue I have with it is perhaps your grafts are very sensitive to time out of the body, and although a short test procedure may go well one that is multiple hours subsequent to a test may still fail. Also perhaps with a small number of grafts you wouldn’t have the same healing issues as with a mega session situation as you had, or even for a subsequent say 1500 graft procedure. Personally I tend to think the issue was related to the flu like symptoms you had after procedure. But in general I’m skeptical of test procedures and the posibility of it giving a false reading because it is fundamentally different to having a significant amount of grafts extracted. Obviously my thoughts on this are not based on a medical degree, but objectively speaking there are ample variables being altered drastically as compared to a full session. Interested what the perspective of a variety of top surgeons on this might be. there are likely a variety of opinions on a best option, but I probably would consider an FUT with Konior perhaps or a slower approach of work as Keser does by FUE to minimize graft time out of the body. Looking at your latest result I do see genuine improvement and although the growth is poor it is enough that your next procedure won’t require a huge number of grafts which is good. Also I see a few multis but a new line placed in front would easily fix it, overall I don’t think this is a huge issue to address especially if further density with singles was added I guarantee no one would notice.
  17. How many terrible results did H&W produce during the past year? I would like to see these multitudes of bad results from clinics like Konoir, Lupanzula, Bisanga, Cuoto because i can't find them. There are about 15-20 Konior FUE results on the entire internet, while probably over 500 Erdogan results. It's not even a remotely good comparison. I haven't looked at the Spanish forum where they likely all reside, but 100% of the results Couto results I and I think most have seen are his videos, none patient posted. The doctors in bold have enough substandard and low density cases that that this comment really does just show you haven't bothered to even look, an old prominent poster here had poor results with one of them too. Plenty of subpar density cases, and more than I've seen from Erdogan. I've also seen Bisanga cases where the incisions angles are extremely off, which completely unrelated to techs. Both of these doctors again have literally a fifth or less of the patient posted cases Erdogan does. Its statistically inconsistent to take doctors that have barely a fraction of Erdogan's patient posted and compare them, and I'd still comfortably say I've seen as many below-par density results from both of them. I don't know for sure on your hairline with the multi-grafts, but I suspect that they did put single hairs in the front of your hairline, but they just didn't grow. I do think that in general a larger punch size is going to better growth rates due to slightly lower transection, but a 1mm punch is literally twice or close to that of the area of those that Erdogan uses. Look at photos of 1mm vs .8mm or .75mm punch holes, there's a reason why some doctors can extract 6000+ grafts via FUE with the donor looking virtually pristine and others can't. Not to mention a 1mm punch is large enough that it can potentially transect neighbouring hairs that aren't being targeted. Like Gas says, its very unlikely that your case with substantive growth issues is due to transection either way. Also on your points before about what your options are, I definitely think FUT would be a smart choice, especially with a doctor like Konior who you're very comfortable with.
  18. I hadn't seen him ask that specific question but I get the point. Still though, I thought the same thing looking at this case but at the end of the day just suspected that OP made the choice based on what he wanted to achieve. Either way I very much doubt that he couldn't have utilised double this amount among plenty of reputable surgeons who would have recommended him to do so imo, including some of those located in NA so hope he didn't feel pressured into the conservative approach.
  19. lol from a guy who literally starts *explicitly* negative threads about other doctors and then spreads negative comments across various other threads that's a little rich. I think a lot of people would have considered this question, and not just to be negative. OP is obviously very early in the process and I haven't seen a poor case from Konior, but the reality is that its a fair question to ask if a 2000 graft FUT and spread across a larger than average area for the number is an optimal approach because its no doubt different to what we usually see. Saying this as someone who would consider Konior for a future procedure too. Some people definitely feel pressured into having lower graft numbers or being conservative due to believing they have no other options, when the reality is that via FUT or FUE there are most certainly surgeons who could have with zero issues covered a larger area and with more density, I suspect Konior could have too. Based on Konior's typical work probably 95%+ grafts will grow, but realistically a larger cosmetic improvement from a single procedure would have been possible with higher graft numbers, there's no question of it. I'm sure many surgeons would have different opinions on FUE/FUT due to linear scar risks even for a small graft number, not to mention I've seen some suggest a first strip procedure should be as large as possible for maximising long term graft numbers. Its no secret that outside of the US surgeons tend to be less conservative, but no less successful, so people shouldn't feel they have to go one method or another. Its fair to have discussion on the issue, if OP or any other poster made the decision to go this route then I don't really see how they can be offended, quite frankly its ridiculous to pretend that's anything remotely offensive. Presumably there is good reason behind it and if they're doing long term research like OP then they'd easily be able to give insight into their choice. Basic questions like this help people make informed judgements, especially when perspectives differ so drastically from surgeon to surgeon.
  20. I had a friend recently question why the lengths at the front are shorter than the sides and suggesting I should go to a better hairdresser (who has been very impressed even after the 6 month mark of the first procedure) but nothing else. Probably a good sign that they don't deduce anything further from that. Recently had quite a few compliments on my hair too which wasn't happening after my first transplant either. I'm still slightly bugged by one area the size of a small coin in my crown not being absolutely perfect, similar situation on one side behind that hairline going back into the midscalp that could probably do with 400ish grafts, but I'm probably not far off peak potential transplant results. If I had a procedure in future I would probably go to Konior because his involvement of all aspects of the procedure and also use of stick and place, but Freitas would definitely be a consideration also. I did the online consult with them before my second procedure and they suggested it would be an 18 month wait but someone on this forum who had a procedure with him said it is only a year if you go through specific patient reps of theirs. Either way at the time ASMED seemed a much better option than going through that waiting list, and still I think that was the best choice. Also would mention that Freitas does use techs for extraction, but as does Devroye. I'd consider Rahal for FUT but probably not FUE. Not that its particularly worrying, but not a whole lot of patient or clinic posted results from Rahal at the moment to go off their current state of affairs. If you can put up with the Freitas waiting list I don't think there are any fundamentally better options for your situation.
  21. Absolutely Dr Freitas, I would not consider Devroye a hairline specialist either. He does very natural higher norwood work with consistently strong yields but I haven't seen even one hairline case in the same league as Freitas, who seems to produce artpieces one after the other, and there are many. Its honestly an odd comparison, Devroye very much focuses on more on the higher norwoods, mature and lower density hairlines but with a high degree of naturalness and good yields. Freitas significantly more aggressive in density which is typically much more uniform and youthful in design, his patients no longer look like they have hairloss, Devroye's still typically look like they have some thinning and have a much less youthful result. Not saying that as an insult, but they have very different approaches from the many cases I have seen from both. If I was a NW3+ and wanted hairline work at that graft number + could put up with his waiting list, Freitas would definitely be a top consideration, probably outright top. I personally wouldn't rate Devroye above Erdogan for hairlines, unless you were looking for a more conservative approach with a more mature design and lesser density.
