  1. Just to give perspective. Looking at your pics you might start by only fixing the center of your W-Hairline with 400ish FU: Low risk, big reward. Little things can go a long way with this hairline type, I know it personally 😁
  2. Wow, great hair and great look. Let them ladies comeπŸ₯³πŸ˜ Remember how concerned you were, when you dislodged the graft? A HT is a long, stony path, but such a result is well worth the wait.
  3. In my humble opinion it might be worth a try to bring the tip of the temple triangles a little further back, making your corners look less receded. I know it is typical to chose the end of the eyebrow as a reference, but this makes a quite sharp angle for the temple in your case. Same for the hairline IMO. The middle peak is to far down and for my personal taste are more concave hairline would be more appropriate too. But this is really a matter of taste.
  4. Your focus is too much on the price IMO. First step is always to look into clinic with results you like for similar cases as yourself. Next is, to see which one you can afford. If you can afford non - wait and save some money. Chain clinic are a bad idea. Rule of thumb for prices: - In Europe, Turkey and even India lowest price for top quality is around 2.5 € per graft. Europe standard for this level is 3.5 -4.5 € per graft. . - In Turkey you find what I would call the second tier around 1.25-1.5 € per graft. I would not do this personally, but it is an option. Below that number you start to gamble with your own head IMO.
  5. Unfortunately, I have to agree. The lack of growth is only one issue. The amount of grafts in the middle was not even close to be enough to achieve a good result. The hairline was more densely packed, but still not dense enough IMO. Also, it appears that the angels of the grafts and therefore the growth direction is wrong. of course I can be misled and you have only styled the hair poorly. If you are lucky, less than 3000 grafts were used - it appears like that. Again, sorry, to be negative, but I think you should take your time in the next month to find out about the top clinics for a case like yours and have F2F consultations with 2-3 top clinics. Until, this is done, your results should be final and you can address the next step. You have to chose your next step wisely. Not many bullets left.
  6. This is an important question, but no one can answer it without any pics. Even more important questions are: - Are you a candidate at all? - Did you select the right clinic for your case? If you mess up the last thing, there is a risk that everyone sees that you had a HT for your entire life, not only a few weeks.
  7. I do not see any correlation with manual extraction and curly hair. Actually, some of the motorized punches claim to especially support extraction of curly hair like the WAW system or the uGraft. Nevertheless, very nice result. I am sure the patient is super happy.
  8. Is your hair wet? If yes, please have dry pics as well. From what I see, you donor is average at best. This thin patch on the nape area is also concerning...either you have a shitty barber or this could be a sign of retrograde alopecia. Plus you seem to have some kind of skin irritation. Better pics and F2F visits to some top clinic required with this status IMO. Good luck.
  9. By the way: I looked at some of the more conservative hairlines in this forum and guess what - quite some of them have this rounded edges and the "concave" shaped transition to the center just like yours. IMO the latter is sth you may overlook as the "issue" but also can be part of the solution (as it can be fixed without punching out grafts). The most prominent is IMO @Melvin- Moderator (sorry, for taking your video to make a point).
  10. Wow, quite little shock loss despite the very high graft number in the the 2nd go around. Donor looks pristine after so many graft taken. This is gonna look good.
  11. If there is no blood there is no dislodged graft. After 24 h most grafts should be relatively secured. Try not to overthink.
  12. The 4 month pic is already unreal! Congratulations, you should be very happy and it will only improve from here on.
  13. @UnbaldEagle we all feel with you! Waiting for a result is the worst part of the HT and when you realize that you goals are not met: devastating. It is easy to preach patience (which I always do myself) as long as you are not involved yourself with you own and only head (almost got crazy myself when the results came delayed in the 2nd procedure). Of course, I also understand that you do not want to share your story anymore publicly. I only shared mine after (!) the results were already visible to avoid the "public pressure". But please visit some other HT surgeons, especially some who are also dermatologist (I remember a discussion about this in the past, but could not find the list of surgeons) to have a chance to find out was caused your issues. Maybe there is a chance to regrow some of the natives and achieve your goals with a final procedure when the issues are solved. Wish you all the best whatever route you go.
  14. I tend to disagree: If you have a contract saying 2500 grafts for X €/Graft and you only received 1000 Grafts, there is quite a chance to get money back. Much better chance than for anything else like unnatural look, bad growth etc.
  15. What a great and natural looking result! And another proof: you still care about your hair when you cross the 30 (or even 40) year mark. And also in this age, great hair makes a tremendous difference in your appearance πŸ™‚ I also understand that you now seek perfection. Of course you do not need it, you have now better hair than 90 % of all men in you age...but if you have the donor and the funds...normally I always advice against it, but in your case I say: go for it. You of course know, that the temples are one of the most delicate parts of HT. Wish you all the best. P.S. It is hard for me to understand, that some people spread negativity in such a great thread (great result, but also great pics and realistic attitude). Why do not use your own threads to discuss your results or reservations against the clinic?
  16. Honestly, I have difficulties to understand what "TOP hairline" clinic means? Highest density? Most aggressive design? Best macro design? Best micro design? Separation of multies and singles? Especially the first three parameters depend heavily on you individual case and you cannot draw a conclusion from other cases and transfer this knowledge to your individual case. You have to speak to the clinic and let them create a hairline as a starting point of discussion. Of course there are some general trends: - Hattingen being more on the the conservative side with rounder edges - Turkish clinics often (not always) typically more aggressive with sharper edges...but what is better? - Micro design is something to look at - as I think a great micro design gives you a more natural result especially when the density is subpar (can happen to any clinic) --> Freitas (even more Diep) would not be on the top of my list as there micro design is not what I (personally) expect from a top clinic - Separation between multies and singles is just a "must" - all clinic who fail in that regards are not a top clinic anyway Conclusion: - There is not such thing as the "top hairline clinic" as every case is individual - If the design of the surgeons does not match you expectations and density is subpar then you will be disappointed independent how much praise was given before - Visit your favourite clinics and discuss your individual hairline with them - this is the only way to find out if from the top clinics one is your individual top hairline clinic --> In my case (which is very particular) this was Feriduni, but does this make him the hairline king above Lupanzula, Bisanga, Konior (the other clinics I consulted)? I do not think so.
  17. I know you are not 100 % satisfied and you have all the right to discuss your results, but it is not polite to derail another thread. The TO obviously had a good results and deserves all the attention to his results and not a discussion about the clinic in general. Plus: I think it is premature to celebrate a clinic just based on your gut feel πŸ˜‰ No offense πŸ™‚
  18. My 50 cent: - A HT which does not have the desired outcome is really devastating for any patient. Such a long time, researching, consulting, the surgery, the waiting and even more waiting...looking like shit for month...there is almost no one who does not get frustrated by this. It drove myself crazy last time. - I truly believe that the amount of below average results is much (!) higher than most clinics wants us to believe and also most patients wants (!) to believe themselves. - One rule always mentioned is, not to decide by distance...this is certainly true but it also requires double effort as I believe: NO ONE should have to decide for his hairline on the day of the surgery. Visit some of your target clinics, have them draw you a hairline, discuss your case, have pictures, look at them at home and THEN decide for the clinic and the surgery. Everyone is nervous on the day of surgery and no one should decide in a few minutes under the pressure of the surgeon and the team (who are eager to start) about his hairline. And there is this pressure, even if the clinic does not want to pressure you ... just by the team waiting this pressure is generated. - Having said this: I do not think that this hairline is "technically" wrong (of course more pics are required for a final judgement). I see quite a lot "conservative" hairlines with such round corners/temples. This is also not a contradiction to the "shapiro paper" as this describes another (more aggressive) type of hairline. Actually, I think the clinic followed the remaining, receded natural hairline and lowered it. Even if the design is not to the TO liking, I think it can be tweaked without punching out any grafts, by just rounding the middle section of the hairline (but again: more pics would be required for a final judgement).
  19. +1 While your 5 month pics were not promising, I think it is worth to share current pics. Maybe it looks better than you think. Wish you all the best! We all feel with you.
  20. No, there are literally thousands of example of successfully planting grafts into a strip scar (from FUT). There is also one from Dr. Vories into a huge MRSA scar (with almost 100 % growth). And there are also many examples of touch-ups into the same recipient area. @Melvin- Moderator is right: If you have no or very poor growth you should try to find the reason why this has happened. This is very challenging but you number one goal.
  21. +1 Your pics are very poor and you plan seems worse. I recommend to have a F2F consultation with at least 2-3 top clinics. If you have a bullet left, this is for sure your last one. Do not waste it.
  22. Let's see what THE hairloss veteran has to say about it: Hairloss experts opinion on new shampoo
  23. This clinic did you a favor ... they wasted less of your precious grafts and donor. And less grafts than contracted (if you paid by graft) is one of the very few realistic chances to actually get some money back. I would never set a foot back into this "clinic" and this time do some real research.
  24. I fully understand the desire for perfection, but this is a marathon not a sprint. Looking at your 2 and 3 weeks post OP pics, density in the temples looks fine. I think the immediate post OP pics may mislead you. What I also see is a possible thinning in other areas (in the bridge and crown) on this pics. Your are still young. Bringing you hairline further down in the best case might give you a 5 % improvement now, when you are a little older this benefit might go to zero. A lower hairline also requires a higher density and therefore higher risk for failure. Plus: If you run out of grafts later this outweighs by far the potential benefits of the lower hairline. It is also great that your new secret wonder clinic is also a tricologyst and maybe in 5 years this is the worlds top clinic ( I am not denying this possibility) ... or maybe not cause they make terrible hairlines (which is an art in itself). I wish you all the best.
