  1. I have difficulties to follow this discussion. You are at month 6 and your results seem to look good and you still have a lot of time for growth left. You hairline design IMO is perfect by the way. But despite waiting a little bit more, you already plan a 2nd HT with a complete newbie clinic because you think "they would have achieved more with less". Based on what? For me this sounds a little premature. Trust the process and give it time. Maybe there is a little touch up needed, but maybe not. I always had a lot of improvement after month 6.
  2. Pro and cons of implanter pens versus pre-made slits and forceps?
  3. You are are a below average candidate IMO. The key is to look into your family history and check how far the sides drop in the future. And of course to manage expectations. Your high sides are you only plus at the moment. Donor is below average IMO. Hair diameter is thin. From the little I see, I expect not much body hair (right?). No Fin... The further dip of the crown is guaranteed. Do you have pics of you donor from a younger age? By the way: You should hop on PO (daily - there are special ones for dry skin) and KET shampoo (1-2 week) ASAP.
  4. Great to finally have a result of Pinto in here. And congratulations that you made a great decision in the second go around. I am pretty sure, you will reach your expectations and maybe even more. In the end the first clinic might have done you a favor using less grafts than stated.
  5. Of course, I can see what is bothering you, but the issue is: - You hair looks A- - Even with a great clinic to achieve a result as dense and natural as your current one is very slim - If you achieve it, you go from A- to A --> A minor improvement only you will notify. - There is a big chance you will look the same A- (lower, more even hairline, but less natural) - I say the risk for failure (having a unnatural result which bring you to a B or C) is bigger than the chance for a success 2500 grafts is insanity by the way. If you cannot resist, go for a very small restoration of the left temple only: 300-500 Grafts. If this ends up great and you still think more is necessary, proceed from there.
  6. Sapphire is really just a gimmick. There is a nice video about it even though the guy is not popular here any more. Implanter pen is another story, there are pro's and con's. However, using blades to create pre made slits + implanter pen takes some of the arguments pro implanter pen away. In the end @Melvin- Moderator is right: it is all about the results. In my opinion there is a clear negative correlation with clinics using buzz words like "sapphire" and their quality of their results.
  7. It is not about the extraction itself, but about the pattern. They basically take all the graft from this area.
  8. I am brutally honest: I do not think that you have enough donor left, to go with a standard approach. Either you you need a BHT specialist (and enough body hair) and go all in (Maybe even body to donor), which will cost you several 10k€ or Your might have to go into full repair mode, punch out some grafts and rebuilt a new, conservative hairline (which will cost you several 10 k€). Maybe you need both and (!) you should reconsider about FIN. You need specialists, not hairmills. This is why it is so dangerous to have a procedure at such a young age. Often the hairline is too aggressive for the loss.
  9. The questions should be: Anyone not depressed/stressed after a HT? The waiting is brutal and taxing for everyone...
  10. The question is: Why do you think this is the clinic for you? Why don't you chose from the great clinics which have a thousands of patient reports in here.
  11. There are literally 1000s of result for diffuse hair including mine to a certain degree. Please use the search function for more results.
  12. Very nice report! Looks great, congratulations. Also very nice that you showed a "styled" pre-surgery pic. Side topic: The hairline micro design really reminds me on the approach of Diep. There are more macro irregularities though. Would really like to see a close up.
  13. Hairloss is a long journey. You are at the very beginning of this journey. Read in here and other forums for a couple of month and you will have a better view. 1. You clearly have signs of male pattern baldness in the entire front 2. Shaving has nth to do with it, but if shaving is an option --> Shave it and/or think about SMP (but careful, this business is as shady a HT business). 3. To make a proper evaluation, we need more info: pics from am sides, a timeline, family history 4. 20 is typically to young for a HT, as you might progress to such a high level that you might run out of grafts --> Unnatural look is much worse than a balding look 5. 99 % of all HT clinics in the world are bad. This is an unregulated industry. Most of the clinics look for Dollar first and your best interest second. 6. Medications is always the first defence Good luck!
  14. Wow, this is a short cut at the back/donor area. Any pics with showing the hairline or some of the donor post OP?
  15. Finally, a Heitmann result. And starting with a homerun is always a good idea^^
  16. Actually, I do not believe there is THE best, only the best for your case. Some great clinics are IMO (and I am sure I missed some) without any particular order: - Heitmann (for small Hairlines cases) - Hattingen (for Mega-FUT Sessions) - Feriduni (for larger FUE cases and consultation in general, which makes him great for non-standard cases excluding BHT ) - Ferreira (great bang for the buck) - Mwamba (for BHT and any repairs involving BHT) - Couto, Lorenzo and all the other spanish clincis (for diffuse thinners due to implanter pen -> Some would consider them the best in the world - Lupanzula (IMO fairly priced and under-appreciated) - Bisanga ... There are many more - Some would also mention Dr. Zarev for mega session FUE (but I need to see more results
  17. I am not an expert for US clinics outside of the top notch, but I see some great results from clinics all over the world. There is no magic super doc who is better than all the others. There are just some with better marketing than the peers. Just as @Melvin-Moderator says: There is the Champions League and there is the field ... and there is the hair mills.
  18. I the German forum (Haartransplantation Forum : Feriduni (alopezie.de)) there are quite some aggressive cases, but you need to register to view it due to German law for aesthetic surgery. But one thing is true: In turkey in average a different style of hairline is prefered. More straight and sharper corners. This makes it so important to have a consultation prior the actual surgery. It is much easier to go into surgery with a hairline planned weeks before. One point you mention is the most important: No clinic can guarantee you a great result. So it is important to plan wisely.
  19. Feriduni is not conservative in his hairlines. Actually, there is a discussion in a domestic forum if he is to aggressive. Both is wrong IMO: He is IMO one of the best tailoring the hairlines to the individual case (personal status and bone structure). Nevertheless, HLC is a great clinic and has a big amount of great results. Both are an excellent choice. My recommendation: - Do not decide by budget. After a great result the few extra bucks will be forgotten soon. - But also do not decide by travel distance -> If you narrowed it down to a small group of top clinics decide by personal preferences (like hairline design, this is not the point which you mentioned before, but the irregularities etc. in micro and macro design) -> If you still unsure, have a personal consultation and decide which clinic you like more. Sometimes you click with a surgeon, sometimes you don't. You can also have the recipient marked and take the pics home. Then you know if your goals will be fulfilled. No surprises on surgery day.
  20. While I got your point, and some are really good ones, I still disagree in some aspects. Like I said: In the very first hairline values around 65 can be achieved. Often this already requires several surgeries. The 70 of Rahal is close to that (and also partly marketing IMO), but the cases of him in here which come only close to this number, also required a second surgery to achieve that. In the area behind the hairline, the numbers are significantly lower for several reasons. - The bigger multies would make it more challenging to dense pack. - It is not required and - Almost no one would have the grafts anyway. I doubt that 55+ is achieved in other areas besides some extreme outliers. And to bring the 80 in perspective: 4000 grafts would only be enough for 50 cm2. - That is much less area than my crown and I had 2900 FU with a good result - For an average hairline of 16 cm this would be just enough to lower the hairline 3.1 cm. - Even the case you have shown (which is an outlayer by himself, if you look into the HW cases in the forum) is bigger IMO as the treated area will expand deep into the areas where there is still hair.
