  1. I agree with the other posters: - Think about FIN and maybe minox (oral?) and re-evaluate in 1 year - Please do not have a transplant now with a hairmill type clinic - this could ruin your entire life. Balding is horrible, but balding and having scars and unnatural hair is much (!) worse. Your top is almost gone, your sides are weak and the crown is going way down, it is very likely that you do not have 4000+1500 grafts available. Maybe not even 4000. Final comment: You type of hair loss reacts typically positively to FIN but also there is a severe risk associated with it. As there is still a hairline, some clinics will rebuilt this hairline just because it is your natural one. But this hairline would be WAY to aggressive considering your overall loss.
  2. @Sean, you are in this situation a long time. Please do not let this situation destroy your life. I am sure there are options which could make things better and I think there are ethical clinics which would go in small steps to avoid additional risk.
  3. A lot of people rushing into HT right now as the think they can hide in home office afterwards. But often HT requires traveling and a lot of booked transplants are cancelled. A clinic owner told me that he has +1-2 cancellations/week cause people are stopped at the border. Anyway, I think home office is here to stay, also after the pandemic. No need to rush, education is everything if one speaks about any cosmetic surgery.
  4. Still on of the very few results which looks great (not good, but great) under all conditions. If you combine density and the quality of the hair (no grafts appear to be misangled or wiry) this is the best result in the net and a proof that FUT still rules.
  5. You did your homework. All (but maybe one) clinic on your list are great. I am always asking for pics cause a lot of newbies have a bad self-assessment: A NW 6 thinks, he is just a small hairline case and vice versa. But you obviously already have the feedback from the clinics and did a lot of reasearch ... all fine 🙂 If you for any reason look further and money does not matter and (!) you are really a small case, I throw Heitmann in the mix. He is a friend of Feriduni (they worked together in the past) and he does literally everything himself. He is a great hairline guy. Good luck!
  6. Obviously, I have been with Feriduni and I am very happy. But, I had the same concerns than you about the involvement. So my 50 cents: - Why don't you present you case with some pics - I am sure you will get some more responses. - Also, if the type of case is more clear, we can more precisely tell you which clinic is matching the best for your case. - How do you nailed it down to this clinics? There are many great clinics, so what was your decision maker so far? If we know that, maybe we can give you a better direction. - If you already had a meeting with Feriduni and you are still unsure, than look further. The consultations are really his strong suit, and if you are not convinced than you probably do not "click" with him. If you already narrowed it down to the top clinics, gut feel is also an important factor.
  7. If topical minox did not work, have you though about oral minox? Risk of sides are bigger but efficacy is also much higher.
  8. Villnow is the most famous German VIP clinic. Almost all athletes (not only footballer) go there. Klopp boosted his business to another level as he went completely public. Interestingly, Feriduni and Heitmann started there career at Villnow's clinic and I am not sure how much work is done by Villnow himself. I think surgeries are performed by another surgeon. Anyway: In my opinion the results of Villnow are average at best and poor most of the time (Höwedes, Harting), especially from planning and design point of view. Even the ones he is openly using for the advertisement of his clinic, I am not fond of. Not even Klopp's.
  9. Wow! What a resemblance. But to be honest: Insigne would look better with a NW1 hairline than this 15 year olds hairline IMO.
  10. While I agree the team is very important, there are quite some clinic with the surgeon doing all the work himself. Just out of the top of my head: - Heitmann, Keser, Pekiner, Konior/Nadimi (almost all) or the HLC collective (even though they are a team, its surgeonS only)
  11. Sorry @Melvin-Moderator, I think there was a misunderstanding. You know hopefully, that I value this Forum a lot and think it is the best in the net by a mile. But in the end, it is an English speaking forum. Many top clinics in Europe/Turkey have a majority of non English speaking clients, therefore they might value membership in here less than in domestic forums (this is my opinion). The process to get in, might be a hurdle as well, just as you have said. Coming back to topic: - I have not yet decided about Bicer myself. I have seen some results in a domestic forum which I did not like too much as the level to detail was not on the level of the top clinics. But this is quite some time ago and I have to look at more recent results. Maybe I reconsider.
  12. She did apply, the other didn't. Keep in mind: This is an US forum, lots of the European/Turkish Top Clinics (Couto, Heitmann, Lorenzo, ...) are not recommended, cause they did not apply. Still you can find objective reports from them in here.
  13. +1 Germany is a bad place for HT, for historical and regulation reasons. The clinic you mentioned is one of the worst I know. There is one in Berlin which is average based on international standard. Maybe 1 which has potential (Ayoub, like mentioned before) in entire Germany, but its quite new and he is very aggressive in the cases he accepts. If you want to stay really close (and have a German speaking surgeon) Belgium and Switzerland is the place to be. Cheaper option in Portugal and Turkey (but only 2-3 of the 1000). If you want to work inbetween existing hair the Spanish or Portuguese clinics with with the implanter pens could be interesting.
  14. For me: If you exclude HLC and Perkiner for price, Demirsoy would be my choice.
  15. This looks great for 5 month and I am 100 % sure it will further improve even more. Keep us updated and happy growing.
  16. Your result is outstanding! Simply great, independent which clinic performed the surgery. It doubt that you could have a significantly better result by any clinic, period. However, IF you would have gone to a more expensive clinic, and would have the very same result, I think you would not mourn about the "lost" money. From all great results I have ever seen only one (!) brought up the money afterwards.
  17. HT is a process, and your are in the worst stage. Do not do any experiments with laser etc., just trust the process. Look at my thread: At month 3.5 I looked much, much worse than before. Almost everyone does.
  18. Aee you asking: Which clinic consistently produces the best result or what are the best results you have ever seen? If it is the latter, there is the GOAT: Dr Hasson 660 hairline grafts update - Hair Restoration Results Posted by Patients - Hair Restoration Network - Community For and By Hair Loss Patients And some runner ups, form which I could mention probably 20: Ray Konior, MD – 763 FUE (Crown) - Hair Restoration Results Posted by Patients - Hair Restoration Network - Community For and By Hair Loss Patients 2987grafts with Dr. Lupanzula - Hair Restoration Results Posted by Patients - Hair Restoration Network - Community For and By Hair Loss Patients Round 2 with Rahal -- 1204 FUT to frontal third (same area) - Hair Restoration Results Posted by Patients - Hair Restoration Network - Community For and By Hair Loss Patients
  19. It is all about dedication! Great to see that you are rightfully happy 🙂
  20. If done properly there should not be an issue with adjacent grafts. According to Feriduni one of the advantages of the WAW trumpet punch is, that you can go quite small even on multies for crown. If I remember right max. punch was 0.85, but I am not 100 % sure. Should have asked last week. To be honest: Based on my surgery motorized WAW is much better than manual. But of course it is not a 1:1 comparison.
  21. Wow! Density is AMAZING. Do you have any feeling about the grafts / cm2?
  22. Thank you! But if this is the most dense result you have ever seen...well than you haven't seen the GOAT: Dr Hasson 660 hairline grafts update - Hair Restoration Results Posted by Patients - Hair Restoration Network - Community For and By Hair Loss Patients Anyway, unfortunately, I forgot the exact treated area, but from the picture it is 9-10 cm in with and lenght. Assuming a circle the area is 63-70 cm2 --> 37 to 46 FU/cm2. Not even 50 % of my natural density. HT is just an illusion 😉
  23. Haha, I thought about it^^ But the conservative approach served me well so far. It is not a budget thing, actually the small steps are much more expensive than bigger steps. But I strongly believe: a) Smaller surgeries increase you success ratio (just look at @Aftermath' result 😉 b) In case you fail you have more options left c) If you go aggressive, risk increases exponentially, because you need a much higher density to make it look natural: --> You have to go very dense which increases failure rate --> In case of poor growth you have to have a touch up to make it look natural d) It is much easier to "Hide" a HT if you do small steps. Almost no one recognized I had a HT due to my small step approach. Most people think, that I just have a better hairstyle^^ e) The cosmetic benefit between NW0 and NW1.5ish becomes very small if you are > 30 years old, which makes risk / benefit ratio very poor.
  24. Depending how greedy I am, I would probably need: - 300-400 to finish the left hairline - 500 to the right hairline in the next ten years - 1000-1500 in the bridge in the next ten years - If the crown expands another 2000 (hard to guess, but assuming I cannot take FIN, this might be a good guess) --> Worst case ~4500 FU which should be OK with what is remaining. This is the best close up of the donor I can find...
