  1. If you decide to do it, make sure you ask the clinic you choose to meet actual patients who have had both FUT and FUE done so you see it first hand. That will help you make an informed decision and take some of the stress and worry out of the equation.
  2. No it will not impact anything. At 6 months I’m guessing everything has already sprouted and is thickening. Just eat good food and exercise.
  3. I would go see a couple top doctors and get their opinion. Are you currently taking Fin? If not I would consider it as it may help keep what you have.
  4. You ever try buzzing your hair real short? I think you have a good head shape that would look good with a super short buzz all over.
  5. Gabel is one of the best in the country. You are lucky to be close to him. Go see him and don’t bargain shop. This is a lifetime investment.
  6. I agree...great result and great pics with everything in the same lighting. I hate it when clinics post before pics in good lighting and after pics in a much darker setting.
  7. This will look good now and as you get older with your short hairstyle. Congratulations on choosing a great doctor
  8. Wow, very nice result. This dude has to be thrilled. Congrats!
  9. Sorry for the delay notsosure and yes, I have had 2 transplants. I had a small one when I was younger several years ago and just got another 2000 FUT from Dr. Konior about a year and a half ago. I needed to add density/temple points and fix a weak hairline. I did a lot of research before I pulled the trigger the 2nd time and I was most impressed and very comfortable with Dr. Konior after going in for a consultation with him and having him exam my case. I have also seen & heard good things on his partner Dr. Nadimi, Dr. Gabel in Oregon, and Dr. Cooley in NC.
  10. I agree with Spanker. The first 1” of your hairline is very weak but you have great hair everywhere else. I would just add density to the weak hairline area. I personally think your best hairstyle option would be to brush your hair forward to hide the hairline area until you get that area fixed. If you go to a top not doctor, you will be an easy fix. Don’t bargain shop. If you have to take out a loan or get on a payment plan then that is what you do.
  11. Dr. Konior is in Chicago which is not too bad of a drive from Columbus OH. He would be my pick. He has a great track record.
  12. I agree...just buzz everything with a #4 or #5. You will look fine and much more normal. Things look to be coming in nicely.
  13. Congratulations on choosing a great doctor. Living with a crappy result for multiple years is way worse than being bald. I experienced it and it’s very hard to deal with the constant stress and worry. Dr. Cooley does top notch work and you will look much better in the future. Good luck with everything and thanks for posting your story.
  14. If you got FUT before I would definitely go that same route again. Especially since you wear your hair longer.
  15. Your hairline doesn’t look bad you just need some more density in your frontal third region. I agree that Konior or Gabel would do a great job.
  16. Personally, I think your hair looks great. A little recession isn’t a big deal and actually looks better in my opinion. I’m not a fan of low hairlines. I’m not trying to be a jerk but the hairline you have drawn will look ridiculous. You want some recession because that is normal and looks way more natural.
  17. Several things factor into how long you will look bad such as: 1.FUE or FUT 2. Shaved or unshaved FUT 3. How many grafts 4. Who is doing the work. 5. Individual healing times vary Also, there is no way you need to take 6-12 months off from weight lifting. Ask your doctor and he will tell you the timeline for physical activity.
  18. This is great hairline work. You look terrific.
