Eugenix medical history questionnaire
Gatsby replied to Buffaloboy's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
My guess is that some of the questions are from Indian culture. I backpacked around India for four months in 1989 when I was 22. No internet, no i phone, no nothing. Every hotel you went to you had to show more than your passport. You had to fill out forms as to your religion, your father's occupation, are you married, etc. I've traveled around India five times since then and these questions never change. I'm more worried about clinics that don't ask questions and it results in a patient having an anaphylactic reaction, keloid scarring, etc. -
Dr. Pittella - 6642 grafts - 25 years old
Gatsby replied to tairony's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I’m not a doctor. However being only 25 I would consider thinking about keeping the rest of your hair in the years to come with Finasteride also. You have a very youthful face and the results from this surgery will be excellent. 👌 -
Dr. Bisanga - Repair Stage I (Removal)
Gatsby replied to FormerFutureKrillin's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
@FormerFutureKrillin trust me. Slow and steady wins the race! Over time this will be a thing of the past. No one will pick up on your hairline (unless they are looking for it). From my own personal experience scars/redness continue to improve ongoing overtime . You've got a lot of hair bro. 👊 -
I like the results that I'm seeing by patients of Dr Laorwong.

@head did you just have a high forehead or has your hair begun receding? I'm not a doctor but at only 19 you really should (need?) to get onto finasteride and try and prevent any future MPB. How long ago did you have this surgery? Unfortunately you have made the same mistake I did when I was 18. for the time being don't touch your finite donor. You do not want to be in a situation where you have tapped out all of your donor in ten years and you're still experiencing further MPB. Good luck with Dr Farjo. I wish you had have found the forum before the surgery but what's done is done. What you do from here will dictate everything.

Podcast with Dr. Ted Miln
Gatsby replied to Melvin- Admin's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Does Dr Milne take on Norwood 6/7 cases? Does he utilize beard/body grafts? Finally what are his thoughts on medication (finasteride, dutasteride, oral minoxidil, etc)? -
If it’s a two staged approach and the second surgery is in another area like the crown you could have surgery after six months. Personally though 12 months is much better because the donor area will have been given longer to heal and bounce back. Also it’s better to give the first surgery 12 months so you know exactly what you need to work with.

2380 Grafts - Dr Manish (Mani) Mittal
Gatsby replied to Hairrevival101's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
@Hairrevival101 you have chosen an excellent surgeon. Stay on the Finasteride. Even if it is not growing new hair but you are not losing more hair then it is working. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing your updates. -

A nice natural result @messda. The curly hair is a big advantage. 👌

Looking good. As a Norwood 7 in your mid 20’s (?) I would be extremely reluctant to waste finite grafts in the hairline and temple points. The only reason I agreed in my second pass to touch the hairline and temples was to finally hide my hairline scar from when I was young and butchered. Dr Sethi will more than likely want to add a little to the hairline and temples. However like @SLA I would stand your ground and focus purely on any weak points. I would keep oral minoxidil up your sleeve for later and the same with SMP. Stick with Finasteride now (if you are taking it/can tolerate it). As you know surgery for hair loss is like trying to hit a moving target. You want to preserve not just your donor but also the transplanted hair from that donor for not just the years but the decades ahead of you. I think your results are incredible and ten years ago this would have been just a dream for both of us. All the best for your next procedure.

Grey hair after Hair Transplant
Gatsby replied to Stefaniwicz's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I honestly don’t know and it’s ruled by genetics. I have found personally that oral minoxidil has darkened my hair and Eugenix brows. -
I personally think if we could find newer and better modalities to be able to take current 5ari’s for those that get side effects would be a huge gain.
