  1. Yes, the package I had in Feb 2022 she did all extractions, slits and hair line design/placement. Balance of grafts by two senior technicians who were both very professional and quality of work was great
  2. Have not really thought that far ahead, happy with where I am at. I will consider asking about options in the next few months
  3. Hi Sorry for the delay, my phone ended up in the repair shop and I actually lost my 12 month pics sent to the clinic, but below are some on the go shots from recent times, including from 17 Jan 2024 to today. Happy to upload more on request, or different specific angles - I can get my partner to help with those if need be, as the selfie ones below are not the best, but will do for now to give an idea. All around, generally happy with 12+ month result. Could be some denser sections, but I don't really think about it as the hair line and front view is the main event. I have placed the approx. date below each bunch of photos Above Photo in white t-shirt is 17 Jan 2024 (11 months) Above photo blue t shirt is ~11 months Above photo, trying a jacket on, is at 5 March (12.5 months) Above 4 photos are taken selfie in office on 18 March 2024, lighting is extremely harsh in the office, hair is cut perhaps 3 weeks ago, washed, no product of any kind. That said, it is Monday morning and I was running late to work, so there is literally ZERO effort into today's hair do (out of the shower wet and let dry haha) 🤣 Re second round - I haven't really thought about it. Maybe i'll reach out for Eugenix opinion and costs on filling the top a bit more. As I said, overall I am happy with the outcome, Eugenix service was fantastic (no issue with going back to them / recommending them), and post-care service was also very good with consistent follow up, review and answering of any questions. Notes: Medication 1mg Fin 6months (post op) Hair Fact Multivitim Honestly, 12 months flew by, and after 4/5months, you start getting some nice results. There really is only a 6-10 week period of the expected shedding/ looking a bit choppy phase, when in the scheme of things, is 100% worth it. During that time, I just went about my day, didn't care, neither did anyone else. Best of luck all.
  4. Hello all, Update as at a couple of days past 7 months. Harsher indoor light (direct above) and some in normal indoor light. Not the greatest of quality, but had to take them on my own. hair cut was approx 1.5 weeks prior. As for growth, every now and then (maybe 3-4 weeks), I feel little prickles throughout the recipient areas which causes minor itchy feeling - nothing concerning or significant. I gather this is new sprouting? Any comments appreciated. All the best
  5. Hello, I thought I would post some pictures which were taken post hair cut yesterday (and one shot today in a bathroom with strong fluro lighting above) Today is 4 months and 18 days. I basically have just let my hair grow until now, did not really care about ugly duckling and just carried on. I went for a proper trim yesterday prior to going on holiday (I was looking shabby!). All photos from barber chair (so nicely cut and combed etc). Bathroom standing photo is taken just now (day after hair cut). All in all, I feel things are on the up after shedding. Still seems 'thin' on top, especially if close inspection, but so far its coming along nicely. I'll aim to post again in about a month or so
  6. Hello! Foranyone interested, the following photos are taken 90 days post procedure. The photos are taken indoors (hotel) under standard room lighting. Often people comment that it is coming along nicely, though as I see progress daily, I can't really tell. I feel there is a long way to go. Sometimes questioning whether its worked or whether there will be enough density (my biggest concern), but then of course its just way to early to know. Time will tell. For anyone wondering, I do not hide the fact that I have had a HT, I speak openly about it if it comes up, I carry on day to day life as if I didn't have it and quite honestly, I forget most of the time (until someone comments, as mentioned above). I continue 1mg Fin and multivitamins per Eugenix recommendation. I was using Nizoral shampoo for a number of weeks as directed to address flaking, dry and sometimes the occasional pimple / skin issue. That seems to have subsided. I am using regular Dove shampoo basically daily as recommended. I had 1 hair cut (buzzed 2/3) by barber around mid March 2023 due to having 3 weddings that month lol - nice timing right. I am not just letting it grow and grow with only minor self-trim care, very minimal at most. I will get another proper trim haircut before a holiday in approx 7 weeks time. I figure just let it grow and see how it looks! Any comments or feedback on progress is very welcomed. Thanks all (Sorry for the two or three pics that for some reason rotate when I upload - unsure how to fix that)
  7. I stayed a few extra days (at 7 days post op I flew from Dehli). I still wore my little blue surgical cap (and took my saline spray) on my flights heading home. I did not experience anyone looking at me funnily or starring/pointing etc. May just be chance of who is around I guess haha. In any event, doesn't matter, you'll never see those people again and their thoughts are irrelevant then and now 😄 Photos are looking great, looking forward to seeing this one progress!
  8. Here are Day 23 photos (requested by clinic one Day 21 for evaluation - though I've been caught up with life) Clinic reports they are happy with progress. As it grows out, my donor is looking very noticeable.. but I know it's so early so I'll just keep waiting. Flaking scalp every day still. Clinic advises 1 wash per day. I use dove, I feel after washing my hair when it's soft scalp it flakes even more.. not sure what to do to help it... Probs the most annoying thing so far. I have 3 weddings this month in a row. 1 last weekend and 1 for each coming weekend.. great timing! I'm just rocking up as is, no one really cares, and if anything my friends are more than interested to hear more. I've had more than a half dozen or so mates ask more info because they are getting interested given their own situations. I am thinking by wedding No. 3 in about 2 weeks time, to buzz cut everything back to a no. 2 perhaps, as I think by then my donor and surrounding area to recipient will be noticeably different. Clinic indicated this was ok to do. I'll update around 1 month or just after! Any comments or feedback or tips is very appreciated thanks everyone.
  9. Couple of stragglers at the front from my natural hairline. Doesn't really bother me, i figured I will see how it all looks in 10-12months before getting concerned about anything (I read often that is easier said than done!) Redness seems a bit more prominent in person (compared to photos) for some reason, but is slowly getting better.
  10. Had a recent HT. Subconsciously I went to and did scratch an itch on my head in the recipient area (day 1 after) whilst working on my PC in the hotel. Stopped myself as it touched the head in realisation but not before I dislodged a graft (which the clinic fixed that evening). Solution (as suggested to me by another forum member I met in the hotel lobby also travelling for a HT) - use a bath robe with the rope around back, to tie each arm down to degree. Worked a charm! There was enough slack to do everything i needed to do, including working on a laptop, but not enough reach to go for your head without it pulling and you realising. Its not so restricted you couldn't touch your head, but you'd have to move your other alarm intentionally to do it. I also wore it sleeping first few nights to bed (I got worried after my silly day 1 incident), and again it worked a charm and I wasn't uncomfortable or to restricted.
  11. Hello. For anyone following along at home or for future punters, below photos were taken on day 13 post procedure as requested by Eugenix (except the last photo which just a one off from today - Day 17 post procedure). Donor appears to be coming along ok. Scalp is a little dry, nothing crazy. Redness persists - more prominent to see on day 17 photo. I have as of yesterday noticed some small hairs starting to shed 😭 DAY 17 Picture:
  12. Graft Breakdown as follows: Single: 256 Double: 2430 Triple: 1840 Quadruple: 393 My math says 12,208 total from 4919 grafts (got my topic heading incorrect it seems). Current status at day 16 post procedure, all scabs gone, though parts of scalp are dry and flaking (using alo vera gel before shower and dove shampoo in shower to assist this). Donor is healing well, some slight sensitivity and tingling areas for a little bit when washed, though nothing I am concerned about at this time. Post-op team and care instructions and communications have been regular, quick to reply and are all round great from Eugenix.
