  1. I’ve had over 8k beard grafts extracted and transplanted. I think leave it for the time being and let this surgery grow out because you may love the results anyway. But in the future you could always go to Eugenix if you feel the need. Not everyone has the artistic skill to utilize beard hair in large numbers. My girlfriend can’t tell that my hair is made up of beard. All the best.
  2. Your two months is looking more like four!!! At just over two months now for me it feels like I can see the key to open this prison. It’s all growth from here on @Bandit90. 👊🏻
  3. Can you share pics in excellent lighting of your scalp from above, the sides and from behind.
  4. I would recommend that you should be guided by your doctor/dermatologist when taking this. Personally I started on 2.5mg a day for three months and then upped the dose to 5mg a day by my dermatologist. I’ve been on this regimen now for a year and a half (?). My native and transplanted hair as well as my beard feels thicker and stronger and I believe stays in the anagen phase longer. I haven’t experienced any side effects and for someone who cannot take Finasteride, oral minoxidil has been a God send. 🙏
  5. @Kraki77 everyone is different in terms of their rate of growth. Slow and steady wins the race!👊
  6. At week six you are in the ugly duckling phase where the transplanted hair will be shedding. It's impossible to tell how your results will turn out. You need to be patient before you can see how your hair looks and give it 'at least' six months before making any judgement and really twelve months is when you can call it so to speak. Stay on the medication you are taking and give that frontal area more time. All the best!
  7. I really like how Dr Kesser left your native hair in the midpoint of the hairline to give it a more natural result. There are though some multi grafts in the temples and hairline however. The growth and your donor is looking excellent for only five months. You have plenty of time ahead of you for even more growth and thickening up of your hair.
  8. At 26 you need a surgeon who is well versed with Norwood 6/7 patients over the lifespan. That to me means Dr Pittella, Dr Zarev and Dr Sethi. If the cost is a problem then I would not risk having surgery so young. I would definitely suggest you try finasteride and minoxidil (I'm not a doctor) prior to surgery to try and stabilize your hair loss. Wishing you all the best!
  9. Two months to me is like being in prison post op. It's the worst time post op in my opinion. For only two months @Shawnintheusa everything seems to be going to plan. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your updates! All the best!
  10. Three thousand grafts unfortunately would be more appropriate for a Norwood 3. I like the conservative hair line design which does frame the face. You could consider a second pass with another surgeon. If so I would recommend a scalp biopsy just to rule out any health conditions with the scalp.
  11. This ^ should on every patient's consultation question list! 👊
  12. This is looking excellent @Otis james and you're only at two months! 🤩 A really soft and natural hairline. Enjoy the stag night! 👊
  13. You could use oral minoxidil if you're talking around a year off finasteride.
  14. @Scarhelp you could try contacting Dr Jerry Wong in Canada. Send him pics of your scar and see what he thinks in terms of is it worth doing another strip to narrow the scar's width? Do you have nay other scars? do they tend to heal well? For many people genes will determine this. I had bad punch graft scars and later scars from trying to reduce the width. I had SMP and was fairly happy with the results. Later when I had my first and second hair transplant I had beard and body hair farmed into the scars. All the best.
  15. I would wait to see what dutasteride does for 12 months before committing to surgery. All the best.
  16. EOD is fine for 1mg finasteride but I would give it a year before judging it’s benefits. Even if your hair loss hasn’t changed then it’s still working. All the best.
  17. @azza786 this is night and day from your previous posts. Your hairline looks soft and natural. NaturaL is the prize every patient is looking for. From my own experience I found having SMP was an aid in my results. Especially with scars and the illusion of greater density. Stag strong bro. The finish line is in sight! 💯👌🥂
  18. She threatened to kill me if I didn’t reveal where the curly hair in the donor scars came from? I ain’t given up my pubes for anyone! 😉😂
  19. I have to agree with @Berba11. If you look back to the original pre op pics this is too early at 5 months to judge anything. Growth will continue for the months ahead. The donor has already bounced back well. 👊
  20. @SeanToman don't be too worried about this. The number of grafts were originally not a huge amount in number. Communication is really important (especially post op) in surgery and that's difficult to avoid with many surgeons around the world. I'm confident that this will be the extra subtle result you are looking for. 💯👌
