  1. first pic: 39,6 years old second pic: 42 years old Treatment: finasteride (I was taking fina before anyway) topical minoxidil 5/6 ml at 5% once daily about 20 prp sessions (1 month during the first year and then one session every other month) dermorolling + cataro oil: 1 session 1,5 mm DR every week for the first 6 months. I quitted for some time. Lately, I've having 1 session per week During the last 2 months I added oral minoxidil (at the moment I'm using 3,75/daily) annurkap (apple prostaciadine) saw palmetto + vitamins (I bought this supplement at HLC in Ankara) I can say that during the last 2 months I saw a greater density/thickness and, at 50 days from my HT (hairline only), I didn't lose all the transplanted hair (I think that about 20% are growing). For the record, my training partner 2 days ago said "what is happened to your hair? They are thicker and I can't see any white spot! only 1 month ago I could see your scalp..." PS I choose the harshest lighting possibile to show my hair. NO CHEATING
  2. for the record, I "studied" your pics. It is like you got 30UF/cm2. Maybe this the reason your hairs look patchy.
  3. according to the doctors I consulted, fina is very helpful to stop miniaturization. about your idea to get another HT, I suggest to consulted a very well prepared doctor on this field like Bruno Ferreira @BrunoFerreira7
  4. Let me tell my experience. I was going to have an HT. After 200 extractions, the doctors aborted the procedure because, he said, my grafts were miniaturized and, according to his experience, when grass are miniaturized, "the hairs grow patchy". According to your doctor, you have miniaturized hair follicle. Anyway, it is really strage he didn't see you have miniaturized hairs before or, at least, during the operation. Do I agree you have miniaturized hair? It is really hard to say but consider that, according to literature, miniaturization occurs at one hair per time. That means, if you have a multiple FU, let say 4 hairs, one hair miniaturizes and disappears and you have only 3 hairs, then another miniaturizes and disappears etc. So, you don't have a 50:50 ratio, at least you are not in the very last stage. In other words, if you have a lot of multiplies, it is really hard to believe you are in early phase of miniaturization.
  5. I specifically asked to my surgeon “if you pick more multi hair grafts, do you need less ufs?” answer “no. the graft is always the same size, it doesn’t matter if it is single, double or multi”
  6. very nice! you have really good lateral humps...I do not!
  7. no. BH are used for middle scalp not for the HL
  8. There is nothing wrong. People think that you should consume a small amout of whey because it is a poweder. I can’t tell you how stupid this statement is. are there better choices than high amount of whey? Maybe but it a very long topic and it has nothing to do with your problem.
  9. Wasting whey? You already showed tou do not anything about protein metabolism. To correct my diet, you should be a knowledgeable person But, considering how stupid and ignorant was your first sentence (estrogen) and how insignificant your last statement is, please be silent and take care of yourself.
  10. a) higher estrogen doesn't necessarily mean higher test. If you increase test---> higher estrogen. But if you increase estrogen---> lower test. Whey protein is a food. I take 6/7 scoops/daily with no sides.
  11. just 2 days ago, a guy posted a research showing that botox increases hair growth. Look for it
  12. "decreasing effectiveness" doesn't mean that you get worse or that minoxidil stops working. It means that after 2 years you got what you got, you won't improve further. But minoxidil works its trick helping to to retain hairs. Anyway, all the researches agree that a multidirectional therapy (minoxidil+ finasteride + other stuff) is the best way to go, because hair loss is a multifactorial phenomenon thus different medications work in a synergic way.
  13. Sorry, I saw (don't know why) another case. The other case is a 2 session HT, 4 years apart. the patient was happy with his first HT and, in fact, he went back to HLC. He has held the transplanted hair even if he didn't use any medication or treatment. He was a really bad case but the patient has improved. I repeat: you can't get a 10/10 with every patient. To get a 10, you need a genetically gifted and very disciplined patient (the patient that takes medications, PRP, laser etc).
  14. I'm Italian so I can read what they wrote. one cases is at 2.5 months. How can you judge the result? The other case is a 6.5 out of ten. Not bad not great but his last pic is at 10 months so there is still time to improve. The patient is not complaining about his result and the only comment is "wonderful" (I do not agree anyway). Anyway, the hairline rebuilding was really hard, because the patient had lost all this hair (he had no tufty al all). there are some clinics choosing only "WOW!" patients. HLC is not one of them.
  15. HT is a team work by definition. As Sam lam says, the technicians play a very important role to select the grafts and to insert FU in the scalp. So, wherever you go, you won't 100% sure that the people make a great work you saw online are the same people doing the work for you. A clinic should assure a quality standard and should assure that the people working there follow a specific protocol. INHO, if everything is on track, there is no reason to be worried. that said, I'm not a big fun of HLC so I'm not trying to support the clinic.
  16. can you attach the link of suboptimal cases, please?
  17. First of all, the analyze cases together. Second: Ozgur and the HLC hairline designer make the hairline for all the patients. So, about the "artistic" part of the work, it doesn't make any difference if you get one doctor or another. About extractions and implantations: from what I saw, some doctors make the extractions and some others make the implantations. Every doctor there has a very noticeable curriculum vitae. All of them are aesthetic surgeons and HIRSH members/affiliate. So, even the worst doctor is a very prepared and talented doctor with a strong background. You know, a chain is strong as the weakest link and if only one of them was a disaster/imprepared/not talented doc, you should read hundreds of bad review. I do not know you, but I never read one. They make very small sessions (500) and, at the end of each session, ozgur check all the works. If something is wrong, the doctor stop his work and calls his colleagues to see what to do. HT is not sending a shuttle on the moon. It is a very tech work and at HLC patients have all that you need to assure a good result. HLC is a 2 floor building: ground zero: reception, hall, free restaurant for patients and guests. first floor: plastic surgery (the doc making noses and lips are not the same docs performing HT). Second floor: hair restoration. HLC isa great clinic, an anesthestys doctor is there if something goes wrong. For me, safety is the first thing and that is the most important part of the story. @LonelyGraft
  18. a) whey proteins are rich in cysteine so should help with hair growth. Bu the other way, reading your post, I suppose you are not a rat gym and you are consuming no more than 60 gr of whey/day. A quantity like this is harmless. b) some surgeons suggest to avoid bodybuilding during the first month because, bringing blood to muscles reduces scalp blood flow. It doesn't make any sense to me but , anyway, this could be a complication just during the first month after HT. maybe it is just a telegen effluvium. TE is like "shit". It just happens.
