  1. Do you mean cortisone? I've stopped ay topical for 2 months...because I got really bored! During quarantine, I spent my days putting lotions, derma rolling and mewing! At June I decided to enjoy the summer!
  2. Thanks gillenator, your reapplies are always very helpful!
  3. according to @asterix0, in 2020 we have so many tools to analyse the donor area that a doc should never interrupt a surgery. Not talking about my specific case but in general, there are several reasons why a doctor aborts an operation: a) he is unable to analyze the donor area before surgery b) he think that he doesn't have the skill to manage short/small FU c) he doesn't have enough time (according to many doctors I talked, small FUs requires a lot more time to be extracted and transplanted properly) d) he uses something happens during the op that scares the doc so he says that the donor area is not "good enough".
  4. Are you kidding? you are right: if the doctor doesn't fell comfortable doing your surgery, thank him and ask for another opinion. When my father got his lung surgery, the first doctor said he didn't have enough skills to perform a such difficult surgery and gave us the name of a super skilled doctor that accepted the challenge. But the doctor shouldn't start the op in the first place. What if the doctor started the operation, removed half of his left lung and then he aborted the operation?
  5. I wrote the same thing several times. About mu specific situation: If pekiner stated the operation thinking that I was a good candidate and then he aborted the transplant becuase he realized that I wasn’t, he clearly made a wrong diagnosis in the pre op phase. if I’m a good candidate (as the story showed I’m), that means he made a wrong diagnosis during the operation. in any case, the way he acted could be psychological devastating for me. in 2020, a doctor has a lot of tools to see if the fu are miniaturized so it is unacceptable that he aborts the op.
  6. you deleted your previous comment... did you regret for the compliments? lol
  7. Every doc asks for a deposit. The problem is Pekiner tried to hold the deposit after HE decided to abort the surgery because he gave me a wrong diagnosis in first place.
  8. The first thing I look for is a good diagnosis. In my case, pekiner gave me a wrong response. As @LonelyGraft said, can you image how stressing and mentally damaging a wrong diagnosis can be? i do not know why he said I’m not a good candidate (I’ve my personal idea about it) but i think the results i got speak for themselves.
  9. In my case, he said he could transplanted the grafts but it was a waste of time, because my FU were dying. So, I said not to insert any graft. In first place, just after he aborted HT, he tried to charge me about 1000 euros. He said I should have paid the "caution" and about 2,5 euro/189 extracted grafts. I said that it wasn't fair that he charged me the price for "caution" because I was there...so he charged me the priced the extracted graft. I called his assistant the next day and I asked for totally refund. I waited 2 days, talked with the doctor, explained why I thought that he wasn't fair to charge me for wasted grafts and he gave me my money back.
  10. If i see the hairline design and the actual pics, i suppose that hairs didn’t grow in the “corner”, where i have white skin. what do you think?
  11. The skin surrounding my hairline is white! Is it ever happened to someone else? it looks like scar tissue, so that means that the doctor trasplanted some fu in white areas that didn’t grow.
  12. I had the same experience with pekiner. i know it can be really frustrating and stressing. i think bf made a great work. Hope for the best!
  13. Very hard to judge. we need a full scalp pic and before pics
  14. This is my before and after (3 years apart) i had 2000 uf ht at hlc ankara in January to inprove my hairline. in middle and crown i just had medications (oral minoxidil, fina, topical minoxidil, dermoroller, prp, locoidon, nizoral). medications improved my hair density, quality and thickness thus i got a very small hair transplant and I didn’t waste money and I didn’t deplete my donor area). My 2 cents tip: have a surgery only after 2 years of medications ps: the after pic was taken in may. Now my hairline looks better.
  15. From an ethical point of view, you are right. From a medical prospective, he clearly made a wrong diagnosis. I do not know you, but when I look for a doctor, I look for someone who is going to give a good and correct diagnosis in first place.
  16. This is completely non- sense. to. say that medications do not work for you, you should know how fast was your hair loss progression without taking fin and minoxidil. By the other way, If meds do not work for you, why are you concerned to stop taking ? that said, you should go into deeper details: how old are you? how bald are you? What about your family? how long have you stayed on meds?
  17. Nothing should happen. you will lose some hair and will get it back when you'll go back to your medications.
  18. There are too many “x factor” patients in asmed recent story, that it is hard to believe he ia one of the best in the world. do not act as a funboy and judge the results as an adult rational man.
  19. 5 months let me say...I’m so happy. a lot of people are saying that my hairs look great and i look younger...and they ask me what i did. what can i say? hlc hair transplant + my personal treatment are making wonders! Ps I’m planning a second hair transplant because i want to lower my hairline, especially in the temples. I’m really upset with the doctors that told mw I wasn’t a good candidate and scared me to have a more aggressive hairline design!!!! Because his diagnosis, I’ll need another boring hair transplant!
