Dr Pekiner Hair Clinic, If someone got scared reading my story, the experience was more frightening for me. We are judged by our actions. People listen the facts and make their own opinion. I can't say if the clinic had pharmaceutical against anaphylactic shock and I never said they didn't. I can tell that the clinic was not provided with "basic pre-medications" (oral sedative and oral antihistaminic) the doctor asked for me. If you are trying to win the trust of these patients, you are going in the wrong direction. As @Portugal25 pointed out, you should apologize and assure that you'll try to improve your internal procedure to assure that this won't happen again. In my humble opinion, the fact that you came here insulting and complaining that I'm spreading "false information" while in your previous post you admitted that my story is true doesn't make you credible to the readers.

I agree with you @Egy I learnt more about hair transplant on this board in some moths than on other Italian boards in years. @Melvin-Moderator is one of the very few honest person in the industry, All we read here is TRUE, no censorship to support some doctors...and people can read REAL story and see the good, the bad and the ugly of hair transplant. Anyway, @Superslim11, look at @CosmoKramer results and look at mine. Microneedeling is the real dinamo in hair loss treatment. You can get fantastic results using DR, minoxidil and some cheap oils. Increase your hair density and caliber and then you'll think to HT. From my experience, your actual plan is simply harmful.

maybe is because the poor light, but I think your density is improved a lot! -
Dr Pekiner Clinic, I had only good words for the doctor during this month so I think to be a reliable person. In fact, I started a topic where I said I was really glad to the doctor and I said he is the most ethical person I've ever met. There are a lot of my posts where I say that dr Pekiner is one of the best surgeon on the market and I strongly recommend him as first choice. Anyway, we are here to share our experiences and we are morally obligated to tell the whole store, the good, the bad and the ugly. As @Portugal25 pointed out (another person that has only good words for dr Pekiner), you are having a very bad attitude. I told a story, din't name names, you decided to reply and confirmed it is true but, nonetheless, you offend me saying that I make "meaningless conjectures". I didn't say nothing more than what happen in that room. It is very irritating the way you try to minimize saying that sedatives and oral antihistaminic are not mandatory for the clinic, because "they are pollen allergy medications" and "a clinic is not a pharmacy". Let me be honest, this a very ignorant statement and, in fact, the doctor himself asked to bring me that medicines. In any case, I do not want to go into a medical discussion. every reader can make his own opinion about the fact that the clinic wasn't provided with the medicines - sedative and antihistaminic - that the doctor said I was in need.

HT is needed to fix a problem. With a short haircut, the doc can't understand how your hairs "dress" your head and you...yes, you...believe me, when you have short hair cut, are unable to see which hairline fits better your taste.

As you noted, I didn't name names. Some people sent me PM asking for the name, but I refused to blame the clinic. This is why it sound really strange he wrote to defend the clinic. In any case, he is not denying what I said but he is saying that I can't protest against it because that the clinic is not complelled to have antihistaminic pills. it sounds completely meaningless to me. In fact, even if the surgeon doesn't give antihistaminic orals as a prophylactic treatment (and that is a very debatable choice), at least the clinic should have some antihistaminic pills inside to threat the disturbances that do not require adrenaline or cortisone. The circumstance that the doctor asked for some pills and the nurse said that clinic didn't have that is quite disconcerting. It is more disconcerting, anyway, that his rep came here saying that I was asking for useless things. The doctor asked for that pills and, because pills are not candies, I'm sure he thought I needed that treatment in that moment. I'm faithful that the picture he posted has beed taken at the clinic. Anyway, I wonder why an hair restoration clinic is provided with muscoril (a medicine for muscle stretch) and gaviscon (a medicine for gastric reflux) while doesn’t have any antihistaminic or sedative pills. maybe one of the doctor on the website can explain something about it.

Dr Pekiner Clinic, a clinic should keep in check all the medicines they have, because it can be harmful for the patient if some medicines are needed and are not available. In my case, the surgeon thought I needed oral antihistaminic, asked the nurse to take some pills in the other room but she came back saying that they were not provided with that.Even if it is hard for you to hear, that is a serious lack in your actions. I know that your job is to support the clinic but it doesn't make sense the way your are trying to defend the way they acted. You said indeed that ""Not all the kinds oral tablets (which are not life saving) are available at the clinic because it's not a pharmacy".Unfortunately, this statement is completely meaningless. A clinic can't be provided only with "life saving" medicines because several disturbances can occur during surgery that require a different treatment. The surgeon himself was very aware how important oral antihistaminic are* and that I needed an immediate therapy thus he, asked to bring me some pills. Believe me, I'm not happy to reveal that I had a such scary experience at your clinic and, in fact, I didn't name names. But, because you replied with illogical inference and inaccurate medical informations, I felt the duty to provide the readers my genuine opinion about this story. *For the record: antihistaminic pills play a crucial role during surgery to reduce the risk of anaphylactic shock, to avoid general disturbances and are mandatory post op. An extract from specialistic literature can clarify this point: "Histamine is quite commonly released during anesthesia and surgery [...]. After induction of anesthesia and preoperative loading with either Ringer solution or Haemacell, the patients were randomized to receive antihistamine prophylaxis with dimethidine plus cimetidine, or placebo. The authors report that clinically relevant or life-threatening disturbances occurred in 15 (including four life-threatening events) of 57 patients in the placebo/haemacell group and five of the 59 placebo-/Ringer group. In the antihistamine-treated groups combined, only one patient out of 115 experienced disturbance."

Why splitting 1 mg tab https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3481923/ by the other way, the suggested dose is generic by definition while a specific subject may need more or less than that. -

If you have miniaturized follicles in the back of your scalp, you have DUPA or BUPA by definition. anyway, because I had a similar experience, my 2 cents tip is: do not think about it. Wait and see what happens in one year. -

IMHO there are several "criteria" to valutate a clinic and compare clinics: 1) you can consider the best results. So, you compare the best X clinic's patients VS the best Y clinic's patients 2) you can consider the ordinary results. So, you compare the typical results VS the typical results. 3) you can consider the % of good results and the % of bad results. So, you compare 2 clinics keeping in mind this parameter. A clinic can be the best keeping in mind one parameter and the worst considering another. Image a surgeon using a very particular technique (or just a doc that works with passion some days and listlessly another day) that gets outstanding results with some people but has a very poor results with others. Now, if I use the first parameter, I can agree with @alboz and say that Couto is the best but I can't say he would be my first choice simply because I don't know how good are his ordinary results (all that I see are his youtube videos) and the % of good/bad results. -
there are some gaps. You need to increase density. anyway, I think your natives got a shock loss too. If so, when they will grow up, you will look a lot better
