  1. I can assure you that, even if you know perfectly what you are looking for, when the head is sheaved is a completely different field. I knew I wanted to lower X on this side, Y on that side, starting from here to there Etc etc but when the head was shaved I was like blind and couldn't understand where my native HL was!
  2. thanks @Curious25 I completely agree with u on this. 2x2000 as better (IMHO, a lot more better) than 1x4000
  3. No but I opted for a very conservative HL because I couldn't see my hairs and I was scared to go too low.
  4. When a doctor draws the hairline, he needs to pay attention to angles, direction, covering effect of natives, colors etc. It is very risky to design an HL if you have a shaved head. In my case, in fact, I'm 100% of the end result.
  5. I think this is one of the most meaningless statements I've ever read. I've used minoxidil up to 10 days before the HT and started oral just a few days after HT and my hairs look great. I was almost bald 3 years ago, I used minoxidil, fina and DR and my hairs looked great thus I had a very small HT (2000 FU) and my hairs look like 15 years ago.
  6. I think your doc used too little FU. Yo u needed more to re-enforce the first line (especially in the center area. HT is an illusion of density and the first way to create that illusion is increasing density among your natives.
  7. According to researches, hair loss takes several months afterMN interruption. 6 weeks is a very short period. In other words: as well as a person need months to see MN growth, he needs months to see shedding. By the other way, considering that the patchy effect is on the first line, I do not think it is related to MN. There is a lot of spaces between his transplanted hairs and that is clearly due to poor growth.
  8. You have a lower HL at the moment but the density id quite low. I can't say if you lost native but for sure you didn't grow 50UF/CM2. Looking at your pics, i think that the density issue is related to ht and not to medications.
  9. In ant case, you followed his guidelines, so it doesn’t make sense that he blames minoxidil interruption. by the other way, minoxidil can’t be related to a such dramatic changing: it is a medicine not lourdes water.
  10. I sent him my pics and my tricoscope images, asking his opinion. he gave me a very long and detailed reply and explained me that i was a good candidate. why didn’t i pick bruno ferreira? he is a very ethical doctor and he said that he didn’t feel confident to draw my hairline because i eas shaved. he said to wait 3/5 months...but i felt like crap and wanted to get my hy and go forward...
  11. Thanks bro. your support really helped me during the first three months, when i was really scared! you are a very nice person
  12. Pic taken right now in my office. Some angles are suboptimal but in any case i like how transplanted hairs match my natives.
  13. If you stopped only for 6 weeks, your loss CAN'T be related to minoxidil's interruption. I see that many times, when the HT doesn't go very well, the clinics say that is because the medicines. By the other way, you followed pekiner's prescptions so he should have advised you about the risk. In my case, at HLC, we talked a lot about post surgery treatment and we decided to use oral minoxidil.
  14. According to general protocolos, you should stop minoxidil 5 days before op and you should stop TOPICAL minoxidil 2-4 weeks after the op. hace you stopped for a longer period? anyway, hair loss from minoxidil interruption appears completely different.
  15. My first impression is that you lost natives. I hardly believe this happened because you stopped minoxidil. Minoxidil is not an on-off switch for hairs. An hair follicle has several cycles and when you stop minoxidil you'll see thinner hairs while you have halls among your tick transplanted hairs. From my personal experience, a patient should never stop medications after HT because, if something goes wrong, the doctor will say that it happened because the patient stopped medication. From what I can see, your hair loss is related to HT (high transection rate or a very strong shock loss) but it is hard to say. Did you try to talk directly with the doctor considering that his assistant is not a doctor/dermatologist?
  16. Will it cause miniaturization of beard grafts? answer: THIS IS A POSSIBILITY.
  17. i specifically asked what do ti inprove my grafts health and he explained me that fina is supposed to be counterproductive for beard transplant.
  18. I specifically asked Pekiner about fina and he said that people having BHT should not take fina because it weaken that FUs.
  19. I have a few questions about my story. I asked his assistant to reply in public in the past but he didn't. When he aborted the op, he took some tricoscope images of my scalp to show me that my FU were miniaturized. Now, if a tricoscope image of my scalp is enough to check the donor zone, why didn't he take the images before the op? He made all the extractions in the same area: is that the way a doctor checks the donor zone?
  20. I did something similar. people usually don't understand how a small change can make a big aesthetic difference! Congratulations!
