  1. Are you taking any vitamins and suppliments daily I.e. Biotin/MSM/Muti Vitamin? Have you tried massaging your scalp with some organic virgin coconut oil a few nights a week?
  2. I see slight improvement but it’s just 5-months, hopefully from here on out you progress gets better with each couple of weeks. 🤞🏻
  3. THE best results i have ever seen! Congrats! Im very jealous but happy for you 🙂 Is there any video for an up close look?
  4. Looks great 👍🏻 Any photos of hair dry?
  5. You can respond to individual comments by first clicking on the ‘Quote’ link in any message and add your reply. Good Luck in whatever you choose to do for your HT!
  6. By the way...why do you own so many gas masks with water pipes/bongs in your first photo? 😂
  7. Hi Your hair loss pattern looks similar to what mine was, though I am older than you, your miniaturization and loss is happening at a faster rate, so, I would say you probably require the same amount of grafts as I had done (5k+) to get good coverage and density in your frontal/mid and crown areas if I’m being honest.
  8. Thanks for posting and testing it this out, I’m very skeptical of the band and think you’ll probably see some results from their “Scalp Elixir” as it’s ingredients look decent to combat DHT in the scalp so it might be tricky to know for sure what is actually giving you progress the band or the elixir if you decide to use both daily, but will be following your posts if any good progress develops. Good luck!
  9. This is a fantastic result, I recall seeing his YouTube progress videos when I was doing my research.
  10. How old are you and do you think your hair loss has stabilized? On any medication? I agree with what’s already been suggested to you by other members above, I’d also add into the mix Dr Diep as well.
  11. Ahh man, it’s sucks what you’re going through at such a young age and I feel for you, I really do. Honestly, I don’t think it’s a matter of choosing the right surgeon out of many as you say from this site, it’s more the issue of which reputable surgeon would be willing to take on such a patient that is 20 years old, even with your hair loss pattern, so that already limits you at this point, I’m sorry to say, and honestly out of all my research over the past couple of years I have not come across a patient your age having undergone a procedure but if I missed any then I’m sure it’s searchable on this site or someone might link to any. i would definitely suggest taking your time to do lots of research on recommend doctors and if possible go with a family member or good friend to as many in-person doctor consultations as you can and not stress and rush into a decision and if you can give yourself some more time, yes it’s tough dealing with wearing hats every occasion and having people think you look older than you are but we all have gone through it at some point and if you don’t rush it and make the right choice not based on marketing you will come out ahead. If you have any questions feel free to ask or DM me.
  12. Hmmm...no wonder my nose hairs are so lustrous and need to be trimmed more often lately...my new cologne has Sandlewood in it! 😂 I’m always skeptical of company-sponsored “science” with such a small trial they had and no actual photos to back up their claims.
  13. Your progress for 7-months looks real good and looking at your pre-op photos it especially looks good coverage-wise, the Doctor did the right thing using the major your grafts for your frontal 1/3 as it gives a nice framing of the face especially your side profile photo. 👍🏻
  14. I’ll be following your dermarolling progress should you post it. I have tried dermarolling in the past (years ago) without any minoxidil and I definitely saw a few new hairs grow in bald spots on my temples and the hairs grew to be strong mature hairs and are still there to this day so I believe that there is something to the method. Good luck!
  15. I wore a loose-fitting baseball cap day 9 or 10 as the scabs were already mostly gone and I wanted to protect my scalp from the sun when out. You might be ok to do so but always check with your doctor.
  16. I agree, Melvin! On the other side I also think it’s pretty cool of John Travolta embracing his recent bald look and getting lots of good feedback, which looks much better than any of the wigs he wore IMHO.. https://www.today.com/style/john-travolta-thanks-fans-loving-his-new-bald-look-see-t146590
  17. I love this new trend of famous or social media-famous guys talking openly unashamedly about their hair loss and procedures...One I follow for workout tips is Mike Thurston and was happy to see this pop up on my recommended list on YouTube today..
  18. Excellent results especially being just at his halfway point. Hairline looks very natural and age-appropriate, density looks very good, he is definitely a fast grower/maturer, and your surgical talent shows in the clean healing appearance of his linear scar. Congrats Doc! Hope you can update this post at his 12th month visit, should he retire for a follow-up.
  19. Very nice growth for 6 months! Another 3 or 4 and you should be thrilled! 🙂
  20. Thanks so much for your kind words and comments @pkipling I really appreciate it! I tried to edit my title but couldn’t see anyway to do so, I normally use this site on my smartphone but will see if I’m able to edit it on my desktop or if anyone can suggest how to do so I’ll gladly do it. Again, thanks! I’m very happy with my current results at this point and if I gain any more from this point up til my 18th month then that would be awesome and I’ll gladly update my thread if I have any more noticeable gains. And...always glad to answer questions of my progress/journey for anyone that has any. 🙂
  21. My hair analysis from the clinic for those that are interested in the info:
