  1. You’re welcome! Could be, so yeah give minoxidil a try to preserve what you have.
  2. Hi First, sorry that your dad passed, 50’s is still relatively young. Second, your hair looks great for your age, it does seem to be that temples are thinning just slightly but you may want to go to a professional in person to see what they say and if needed put you on Finasteride and minoxidil to keep what you now have for as long as possible, also you may want to be sure not to use anything to tie it into a tight ponytail or man bun since your hair looks long as that may give you early traction hair loss if you do. Good Luck!
  3. Thank you! Hope you get a fantastic result too! 🤞🏻 🍀
  4. Thanks for the kind words! Much appreciated! its nicely dense at my frontal third as 3,500 grafts were placed there, I’m realistic and understand that i may need another round to fill in other areas but for 10 months I’m very happy both with growth and donor area.
  5. I have to say, donor management by Dr Erdogan/ASMED is top notch! I’m very happy. Oh, and just want to add, the haircut faded in the back is not crooked it’s due to the longer hair on crown brushed back and down.
  6. 10th month post FUE procedure w/Dr Erdogan/ASMED For this update I decided to focus on the donor area since I hadn’t done so. Today I got my first faded haircut (by an amateur barber friend), I had him buzz the sides and back of my donor area to a 0-grade with the clippers to see how visible the 5,000 FUE scars were....and I’m thrilled! I honestly can say that it’s very hard to visually detect them even in some bright lighting, at grade 0 no less and I had a few people unaware that I had an HT done take a look and give me their opinion and they could barely see them. I also used some good hold matte paste to slick style my hair back to show the full hairline, for that hipster/Viking look haha. Please note that there are some scars in my donor but I believe they are from acne scarring as I would often itch them over the years, and also, in many of the spots that do look empty I do actually have hair in them when looking closer zoomed in on the photo but the hair is White/grey so not very visible in photos. Photos taken in natural lighting, and the last photo is purposefully in a darker light to show contrast.
  7. Hairline and density looks great! Congrats! Although, the scarring not so good, is it from permanent shock loss or over harvesting?
  8. Hi Looking at your photos, your hair loss looks pretty advanced for your age, especially in the crown and looks to be going lower with diffused loss all over. It’s difficult for me to tell how good your donor area is since it’s cut so short but I would not rush into an Ht and do lots of research and consultations since your donor looks limited and you want a good reputable surgeon to make the best out of your donor grafts. I would consider Dr Keser/HLC clinic/Dr Demirsoy in Turkey as they have Surgeons doing a great majority of the procedure if not all of it, and smaller refined graft amount procedure rather than a large mega session clinic to give you the best advantage as you can’t afford the risk of a sub par result given your limited donor zone. Good Luck!
  9. Thought I’d add under my own thread a couple of photos I just took to show as an example to those members wondering how late can new fine hairs sprout and grow...for me even in months 8 & 9, as I have had several do so in my hairline and probably elsewhere but too difficult too see and will be reaching my 10-month soon so hopefully they continue maturing and thickening.
  10. Just to give you some proof of what I stated in my previous comment I took a few photos upclose of my hairline to show you the several new fine hairs the sprouted a few weeks ago.
  11. Yes, the scars will be noticeable at a zero cut...although you could get SMP on the scars after you’ve completely healed after many months and camouflage them, downside to that is SMP can be pricey and will fade after some years and will need another go.
  12. Yeah, he should as least do what Joe Biden did.
  13. I would say at the 9-10 months mark all the grafts should have produced growing hairs that have sprouted, from my own personal experience, I’m at almost the 10th month and I have seen some new hairs that have finally sprouted at month 9 that are now .5” long and maturing. As for 2nd pass growth, can’t help there as I haven’t done....yet. 😉
  14. He definitely had a modest Ht and I think I might have read somewhere that he had a facelift years ago that looked too unatural and he bacame sort of a recluse and that’s why he shyed away from being in front of the camera for many years...until more recently and now he’s all over the place, I guess he found better doctors haha....and The best Batman IMO too haha.
  15. Looks Fantastic! Congrats! Thanks for posting these dry hair photos!
  16. Wonderful natural looking results! Patient must be very happy now as well.
  17. I completely agree with @Fozzie and @hairlossPA comments.
