  1. 😂 that’s quite the compliment, much thanks @Kraistoff! 👌🏻 In that case I’m happy to do a Benjamin Button-Travolta progression. 😂
  2. 10.5 months post FUE procedure w/Dr Erdogan @ ASMED Im still seeing weekly improvement since last month, slight as it may be. A bit more density maybe but I am still growing long the transplanted hair and haven’t cut it since October to see how full and strong it gets , growth & thickening of newly grown fine hairs from months 8-9, the scraggly hairs in the vertex are also starting to get/grow better. I’m very pleased with the progress at this point, I would like the mid-toVertex area to thicken up more but if it doesn’t I know it’s because more grafts are needed there.
  3. Sure man! Ah ok no worries. Yeah, the temples are progressing well and makes sense that there’s some growth issue in the area you bumped & bloodied and grafts came out even if they fill it back in the trauma maybe have nixed growth for now, but you could try and fix that later if you ever need to do another ht.
  4. Doesn’t look too bad, I don’t think you should worry at this point the grafts are already imbedded. I’ve had pimples pop up in the recipient area around the same time frame and popped them an did bleed a little but healed ok.
  5. Very nice progress, thickness & density look great for 6-months! 👍🏻 You temple corners looks to be progressing nicely too but tricky to tell from your latest pics, you got great caliber dark hair, any idea how many microns thick your native hairs are from the doc?
  6. Looks good, happy growing! How many grafts and how long ago was your 1st procedure? Any progress post or photos of it?
  7. IMO, there is nothing wrong or embarrassing or tacky about asking if there’s a discount available for paying for anything of large value in cash, and I’m willing to bet some would be happy to accept all cash than pay credit processing fees and in turn give you a slight discount or other extras in return, business is business and business loves cash. As for discounts on any subsequent procedures, from what I’ve read I do believe many doctors & clinics do potentially give previous patients/clients a lower rate or something. As for mine, I saved til I could pay for it in cash.
  8. Not OP but I think I can give you an answer since I underwent the same...it’s because they did the procedure over 2-days and that is just the 1st days work, on the 2nd they continue where they left off, I think it shows it in his post op scabbing photos up top.
  9. Thanks! I don’t really have outdoor photos/selfies as I still mostly wear my baseball cap to still protect scalp from the sun when out to be honest, and I’ve been waiting until the 1-year mark to take some outside selfies haha, will post when I do.
  10. Having just hit the 10.5 months mark myself , I have to say the progress did get noticeably better from months 8-10, from some new sprouted single grafts hairs along the hairline to thickening of growing hairs. Here are some photos to give my example: 1st 2 photos are from my 7th month (fullness and density lacking especially on my left side. 2nd 2 photos are from today, hair is dry and a bit messy from bed head so excuse that and I’ve let the top grow long. Hope that helps some. Edit: added a pre surgery clinic pic of where I started.
  11. Your donor area looks good. Good luck in whichever route you choose!
  12. Looks good @Lennney, some early growth and esthetic framing too, not too high or low.
  13. Hi In my opinion, I agree, your hair caliber looks on the thin side and looks like you did have a large area to cover with just under 3k grafts so the see-through results make sense. Honestly, I don’t see why you couldn’t go FUE not sure about FUT again as you mentioned laxity issue, it would be my choice to go FUE after any FUT (although I only have done FUE), and from your photos you do seem to have some donor for a 2nd but would be good to see a fuller photo of your back donor area.
  14. For 7 months it looks great, with some more improvement to come!
  15. Looks great and more time for more progress ahead. Congrats man! Happy for you!
  16. Thanks @Lennney Good observations! 👍🏻 Yeah, I think now in the time we’re in is probably the best time for Hair Tranplantation than any other, from better technical achievements, financially attainable, and positive openness in my opinion.
  17. Oh wow, I don’t follow him other than his YouTube but that’s sounds very careless and irresponsible of him and if his Ht is a failure it’s all on him at this point I guess, and he’ll be kicking himself silly.
  18. I found this info graphic on google a few months ago that I go by, for myself it was close to accurate but it all depends on whether the individual is a slow, moderate, fast grower.
  19. Great answer from the Doctor, and totally agree, it’s the experience and skill of the surgeon/tech that matters more than the perfect tools.
  20. I wouldn’t trust any ads on FB or social media of any clinic, IMO before and after photos by clinics on Instagram or elsewhere are okay to peak your interest but only “trust” patient posted results.
