  1. I’m not sure exactly what type of tool a densitometer is but I believe dr rassman mentions something similar all the time. I’d maybe contact him or his clinic and ask. i believe hair transplant surgeons use micrometers to measure the thickness of hair. It’s not very accurate however since the hairs distort under pressure.
  2. Many bisanga results posted on here. I don’t think I’ve seen a single couto case on here. For couto you’d likely have to search on Spanish forums. Coutos results are some of the best I’ve ever seen
  3. Thanks. Yeah I don’t think the scarring looks bad at all. I couldn’t even tell until I zoomed in
  4. I’ve heard this concern many many times over 10+ years on hair loss message boards. My question is, can we not just get a dht blood test to confirm the generic works as well all the brand name? Finasteride has a pretty short half life so this should be quite easy to do.
  5. Can you please describe some of the side effects you experienced?
  6. Wow great result do u have pictures from before your surgery with hasson? why did u not go back to hasson for ur 2nd procedure?
  7. Great story. Do u have any pics of your donor shaved down prior to this second op? Also, did they do a count to see ur survival rate for the first procedure?
  8. I believe most prescription ED meds recommend no alcohol when you take them. There are several now so I would research into each one (cialis, viagra, Levitra, etc). I’ve read anecdotal reports that the amino acid l-arginine can help with ed and erection quality issues. You’ll have to read up on dosages with that though. something more radical that you can look into is hormone replacement therapy which depends on your age. I’d get an opinion of a highly skilled doctor on this that can monitor you and advise closely. This is probably very expensive. maybe start by talking to ur gp and let him know what exactly you are looking for. Hope that helps
  9. I’m pretty sure JT has some bad blood with this forum. I also believe his account may have been banned from here (I may be wrong however)
  10. Mpb is one of those things that’s hard to pinpoint exactly. If u have baldness and none of your immediate relatives have hair loss than I would look towards extended family on both sides to see whose pattern you follow. if I had to wager a bet, I would be on your side that you would not hit nw6 or 7 given that you are only a nw2 at 40 especially since androgens lower as we age and now that you’re on treatments
  11. Based on the area drawn in red 2500 grafts at a density of roughly 45/cm sq seems reasonable. Who is the surgeon? your hair thickness seems above average. To achieve the illusion of density it’s been said u need 50% or higher of ur native density. Do u know what ur native or donor density is?
  12. Surgery in general causes scar tissue where incisions/wounds are made or where tissue is removed so both recipient and donor areas are affected.
  13. Like everyone said if it is shock loss it is not unheard of. If you do a search on this forum you can find several cases where there was shockloss in the donor and it mostly comes back.
  14. Each clinic seems to have their own protocol for all of this. I would defer to the specific instructions of your clinic/doctor.
  15. I couldn’t have summed it up better myself OP, Hair loss for the majority of people is progressive. Meaning once it starts it will continue to the point of reaching your destined final Norwood which is dictated by your genes. Finasteride and minoxidil will potentially help to slow down or in some cases delay the ongoing hair loss.
  16. Why would u not ask him? That’s the first person you should ask instead of strangers on a forum. Contact him with pics or if u live close by book a follow up appointment. Maybe he can show you your scalp under a digital microscope to see if there’s any activity going on.
  17. Hey Slick way of spamming and promoting your business 👍🏻
